      I have been a long time customer with Enercare.
      I went ahead and agreed to the replacement of my old 50 gallon gas water heater with a new Tankless gas water heater system with Harris C., Enercare Management Consultant.
      This replacement was completed at the beginning of August 2022.
      Since then, I have attempted to contact Harris C. many times by phone and e-mail. He has failed to respond to my two outstanding issues:
      1. The technician came to conduct the pressure test Friday August 12th, no problem with that. However, as he was about to leave, he left some forms for me to complete, that I don’t really understand. Wanted me to fax, which I can’t do, and wanted me to send my credit card information to a place I’ve never dealt with before. Plus, the technician had mentioned I would need to pay just over $100.00; whereas this form gives a cost of $593.25. Harris hadn’t mentioned to me that I would have to complete more forms and there would be another payment. It looks to me as though Enercare should complete these forms.
      2. Most important, with the new tankless hot water system, I’ve noticed that when I take a shower, the water becomes warm, then runs much cooler for a short while, then warm again, then tepid again, then warm, then tepid. Is there anything that can be done to fix that?
      I completed an Enercare customer satisfaction survey on October 6 2022, outlining the above two issues plus requesting a call back from Enercare. I have not heard back from them.

      The worst business practices! Don’t get sucked in to rent a hot water tank. **** * **** **** ** once you take it the only way to exit the rental is to buy the tank at a overvalued price.
      They have the worst customer service, good luck getting through to a manager. One asked to see the contact that they say I signed, they now want $50 to retrieve it. Just stay away, buy a tank from a reputable company and never let them get their paws into your pocket!

      *** **** **** ******** Came to my home and installed a water heater.
      Dumped the old heater water into my toilet and flooded the bathroom (ruining the flooring), as well as broke the $1000 toilet macerating toilet. Filed a claim with Enercare in June. Left multiple messages and emails and absolutely no response. Getting ready to send it to my attorney to collect. They can pay the legal fees. Would never use again ** ********* ** *******

      We found out we have been charged for a tank that was never on our rental premises for 13 years. We kindly requested our money be refunded by cheque and provided proof. Our MPP got involved as well as our landlords. Enercare’s solution? String us along 10 months (all the while never replying to any emailed questions asked via email) Finally a credit to our ******** account was issued for 600$ while they keep over 3000$ and after they charged us a buyout fee for a tank the previous tenant had replaced and for a contract the previous tenant breached making ours null and void. We did not agree to this solution yet they are no longer replying to emails or calls.

      ******** ****** ******* They offer you a 1 year contract and make it almost difficult to cancel as they expect the customer to call only within 30 days of the renewing the new contract. You cannot tell them not to renew the contract in advance. I got a bad credit report because of them (a measly $126). Even after paying this full amount my credit still shows badly :( I don't know how this company is still allowed to do business.

      I am receiving 3-4 collection calls daily for an account that has a zero balance. |t has had a zero balance for at least three months. The voice messages are always the same, there's no one on the phone it's a recorded message and when I call back in I'm told "oh yes, your account is cleared". I have asked them to stop calling me and they agree. Last conversation I had with them was today - at around noon. I have received two more calls today. * ** ******** ** **** ******** ** ***** ****** my voice mail is always full and I can't seem to get through to them that I do NOT have an outstanding balance. I guess the next step will be to contact my lawyer for a "cease and desist" letter. Don't deal with them, ever, ever ever.

      *************************************************************** ** WORST customer service I've ever seen. Getting charged for the maintenance plans which were cancelled on the very first day, keep telling them it was cancelled and still appearing on my bill. The agent hung up on me when I was cancelling the services and got connected second time to cancel, i thought it went thru but apparently they kept charging me. Finally set up dispute and have to wait "2 Billing cycle" per them, God knows how many months or years for that to get resolved based on the impression I have over them. It's so awful and frustrating experience with Enercare. *************************************************************** *

      We thank the customer for bringing this to our attention. We have reviewed the account and identified that due to a transaction error, the plan cancellation was not processed successfully. Our billing team has corrected the error and processed a billing adjustment to reverse the charge. We have also processed a good will credit for the inconvenience. The customer should see billing updates in 1-2 billing cycles.

      Awful customer service. They do not follow through on their multiple promises. Dispute over billing and the billing manager is unable to resolve the problem. No one in the company speaks French but offer the services of a translator who does not understand the jargon of this company. It was easier to speak to the customer services reps in Punjabi and Cantonese but NOT in French; one the two official languages of Canada. Spent many many many hours on the phone between June 20th and July 18th and NOTHING has been resolved. I was promised a copy of the damage report, and photos of the actual damages: still have not received On June 27th, I was promised a credit on my next bill: did not occur July 18th: spent over 5 hours on the phone with simple requests: 1) the amount to removed immediately from my bill, as promised 2) speak to a supervisor or have a supervisor call me: they NEVER called (as promised) 3) receive a written confirmation via email that issue was resolved: again this was promised but 3 days later...still have not received I wrote a letter to the Owner/CEO or President of the Company and hopefully, I will get an answer! High hopes that will probably be more empty promises.
