We regret to hear that your appliance has a functional issue.
Please understand that CAS is an authorized retailer, and we receive all of the appliances we sell directly from the manufacturer in their original packaging. The packaging is not removed until the appliance is presented to our customers. Therefore, CAS does not perform Quality Control testing on any of the appliances we sell. This is done by the manufacturer during the production process. As such, there are times that an appliance may experience functional issues shortly after purchase and as it is a functional issue, it falls under the manufacturer's warranty. In cases like this, the manufacturer provides CAS with very specific guidelines on how to proceed. This will almost always include having the manufacturer send out a technician to assess the appliance. The technician's report is provided to the manufacturer who then determines whether or not they feel as though the appliance can be repaired or would need to be replaced.

Horrible customer and return service.
They delivered the washing machine on Dec 21, 2022.
The delivery men dropped the washing machine on the floor and damaged the laminate flooring. The leg of the washing machine broke off from the impact. I called the service and asked to replace the washing machine. It's been 2 weeks and they still haven't replaced the washing machine. They say that the return department does not have a phone number and I need to write letters to them. I wrote them one letter and was waiting 2 days for a response. They answered my letter, asking me to send one photo first. I sent and I was waiting for a response again for 2 days. Then they wrote that they would replace the broken leg. I replied that I do not need a replacement leg, I ask you to replace the washing machine. Again I wait 2 days for a response. They wrote, that I need to send more photos. Another 2 days of waiting. I call the service, and there is only one answer: the return department will contact you within 2 days ...

I ordered the ** compact stackable washer & dryer. When the install people arrived they asked if this is to be stacked. It was and I had made that clear to my sales agent, Jermaine. The installers said I needed a stacking kit. I was not informed of this. They still proceeded to install the washer & dryer with the understanding that I would have to order the stacking kit in order to use the washer/ dryer as the dryer was not secure without it.
Once the install was done, I noticed one of the water valves was dripping water. The installer said that I just needed to put tape on it. He made it sound like it as not an issue so I signed off & they left. I noticed more water coming out & panicked. I contacted my sales guy about the stacking kit and the water leaking. He gave me a link to the stacking kit that I needed to purchase. The cost was about $44.95 PLUS another $77.95 for installation. I mentioned several times that I needed stackable units since I am in a condo. I was panicking about the water leaking. He put me through to customer service saying they might be able to catch the install guys to come back and that they might have a stacking kit. I connected with Nishta in customer service and this was not the case. She said that I had to take photos & a ticket would have to be created. I let her know water was leaking and she said that nothing could be done until a ticket was created & pictures were sent. I never heard back.
I messaged my handyman. He was able to turn the water off & noted that the hose were installed backwards. He mentioned also that the install people should have applied plumbers tape to prevent such leaks from happening.
I never did hear back from Jermaine after repeated attempts. I ended up contacting customer service again and dealt with Ashtika who was the first helpful person. She refunded the cost of the washer installation. I have since submitted a claim for damages.
I have yet to see if the actual appliances work.Canadian Appliance Source

Absolutely the worst company to deal with, promised delivery no show twice the third time they refused to bring up the fridge said they needed 4 guys they didn’t even want to bring in my stove and it was Christmas the next day, when he finally did he kicked the plug into the wall forcing it, stove is not function side wall is loose, New Year’s Eve 3 delivery guys showed up and said sorry your kitchen was built around the appliances and they left , out of frustration that the company would not help me I call get movers for $850.00 the came and got everything done , I was in awe at how great they were and very professional , still trying to get hold of CAS and no response , off to better business bureau to file my report of their on competencyCanadian Appliance Source

Extremely Disappointed Customer:
My recent experience at the Regina 'Canada Appliance Source' was appalling on several levels. Before purchase of a dishwasher and refrigerator, I declared that the available for pickup date was imperative because I will be working away from home (out of province). I had both the salesperson and manager confirm the expected date prior to purchasing. When the day comes for me to pickup the appliances, not only was I not notified of any delay, but the appliances were still sitting in their warehouse.... not even loaded on a truck or processed.
Upon cancellation of my order, due to the fact that they failed to meet the specified stipulations, I was told that the refund of the deposit would take 2 to 3 business days to process, and that the sales team present did not have the authority to deal with the refund, no manager was appointed for the vacationing store manager.
I would have respectfully walked away from the deal without posting any review had they returned my money from the deposit so I could make the necessary purchase from a competitor while there are still boxing week sales on, but that didn't happen and I am just left hoping I don't have to take further action to get my refund.

Sold me a defective and scratched (looked like it was returned) fridge on December 18. THe appliance arrived December 20, the delivery service took the old fridge and unwrapped the new fridge. THat evening the installer came, pointed out the scratches and dents, and the doors were not aligned - it wasnt an issue of alignment but rather was smaller than the other and could not be adjusted. I emailed CAS that evening with pictures and they called me the next day yelling at me asking why i didn't return it immediately. THey started the exchange process, and insisted I not use the fridge - well its the holidays, were a large family, what were you expecting us to do? Its December 27th and still no word from CAS but daily emails about do not use the fridge.
Perhaps they should take responsibility and feel horrible that they sold me a defective fridge - instead of fighting with me about being without a fridge over the holidaysCanadian Appliance Source

The worst experience. Bought a stacked ***** Washer Dryer on Dec.15. Salesman said it would be delivered the next day and that delivery guys would handle disconnecting old appliances and removing them.
Dec 16 … delivery guys screamed at me, said they will not disconnect. In reading the policy. They were right. But salesman had no knowledge.
Dec. 19. Called a plumber, disconnected the old ones.
Dec. 20. Called salesman to have the new machines connected.
Dec. 21 . Delivery guys came. Asked where the stacking kit was. I had no idea that I needed one. Called salesman “sorry”. I bought one. Promised they would come the next day
Dec. 22 delivery guy came, was furious. Banged the stacking kit and broke it. Screamed, my neighbours came over to see what was happening. Salesman did not care.
Dec. 23 customer service promised that someone will come tomorrow to install them.
In the meantime, I have 4 appliances in my small condo …
Not sure if it will be resolved.

Appliance is great, but delivery service and customer service is horrendous.

-Absolutely worst pick up service. They do their best not to pick up the old unit by blaming customers for not giving them exact environment of the unit EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NEVER ASKED TO THAT DETAIL WHEN NEW APPLIANCE WAS BOUGHT.
-Even worse customer service. They will yell at you for being upset with them. They do not listen, but rather they try to fix in the way they think it's correct (which didn't end up solving anything). They do not give right intructions to pick up personnel.
-We bought +4 appliances from them but we will never shop with them again. Complete waste of time.Canadian Appliance Source

When I made my deposit on Friday, December 16th, 2022 on 2 gas ranges, I was told that they were IN STOCK.
After leaving work early on Saturday, December 17th, to meet CAS hours I arrived to be told by Shipping & Receiving that they were NOT there and that this location does not stock ANY appliances, they are all warehoused in Calgary due to the weather (that I had just commuted through also) the truck had not arrived, but they should arrive on December 19th. I called my salesperson, upset as I had just lost an hour of work, and spent 45 minutes commuting to find my 2 ranges were NEVER THERE, to begin with. No one could be bothered to phone or email me, this information was REQUIRED when my deposit was made, to tell me to not come in.
A half-hearted "sorry for the inconvenience" was not sufficient, I was offered a "free delivery" which the company could NOT ACTUALLY PERFORM as I live in a Rural area and not in a City or Town (again, CAS had my ADDRESS at the time of the deposit) I then received a paltry $30.00 credit.
On Monday, December 19 I called "Customer Care" and I was told the truck "should" arrive on Monday, and pick up on Tuesday - I had taken Monday off to get my 2 ranges; I contacted the store directly to speak with S&R. Scott was understanding and explained the truck should arrive around noon and he would email me when offloaded so I could come in. I had no faith in CAS, I told him I would call back at 1:30-2:00 pm to ensure that my 2 ranges were, in fact, at this location before I made an hour commute for nothing. I spoke with Scott again after some hassle to be put through to S&R. My 2 ranges were finally there!
This in general would have been a fairly straightforward example of awful customer service, as starting a transaction by ***** ** a client definitely sets the tone; utter lack of customer service and accountability.Canadian Appliance Source

This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased an expensive range from them through a conversation on the phone and also an extended warranty insurance.
I have never been sent a receipt despite several telephone calls and no extended warranty either.
They failed to deliver the range on 4 occasions with spurious excuses.
Eventually the range did arrive several weeks after the promised date and their so called “white glove” delivery persons were reluctant to even unbox the range and complained when I wanted it put into the kitchen.
This is a company best avoided by everyone unless you pick up and deliver your own appliances and do not bother with their extended warranty because I suspect that money is wasted.Canadian Appliance Source

We can also see that you called twice, after delivery - once on December 14th and the second time on December 15th, 2022.
Both times the Bill of Sale and Extended Warranty Plan were requested and both times they were sent to you by email, by our customer care team.
