I am the owner of a cellular phone and have been in possession of this phone number for aprox 15 years.
Over the last 2 year period MJR capital services has contacted me multiple times asking for ****** *** *****. I have repeatedly informed them that I have no idea who this person is and I continue to be harassed with calls and messages.
Despite being told by customer service people that they will discontinue calling I continue to get messages repeatedly.
This must stop and they must apologize to me.Business Response

Dear Mr. *********,
While we regret the
circumstances prompting your communication, we welcome the opportunity to
respond. We have investigated this matter in its entirety, and would like
to offer the following in response to the allegations presented to us through
the BBB website.
Our staff are trained to remove
wrong numbers from our files. I reviewed the phone records, and although
you had made several inbound calls to MJR, you first spoke to an agent on
08Dec2022. The agent correctly removed your number from the file and
telephone communications stopped. However, we do see that your telephone
number was picked up for two SMS messages. We sincerely apologize for
this error. Our technology team has been notified and coached in this
matter.
Additionally, your telephone
number has been placed on our Do Not Contact List. You should receive no
further communication from MJR.
Thank you for bringing this

Thank you,

******* **** has directed me to MJR Capital to pay my debt. I had began a payment schedule of 50 dollars a week, after the employee on the phone tried to convince me to pay it upfront ***** * ******** * ******** ******. After the first payment, which showed on my account as being taken off I was re contacted by them, claiming the amounts needed to be higher. ** *** ****** ****** *** *** * ******. 100 dollars a week was the new agreement. I have a dated invoice before the 100 payments were made stating I owed "$585". After two weeks of payments, I contacted them to ask why the amounts were not being reflected on my owed amount. She then goes on to explain she doesn't know where the money went, and that we didn't pay them. I asked her to investigate where the money went, and after calling constantly for a week, she finally answered saying they found it and my new amount was "$585". This did not make sense, as it should be 385 after $200 has been paid.
I protested and she ******* at me saying my amount was "$785" from the start. I proved to her my invoice was dated BEFORE any payments were made and she said there was "nothing she could do". I asked to speak to her boss and she again ******* at me saying "they're in a meeting". I would like to speak to another employee who can potentially help us resolve this. I do not want to have to reverse the charges with my bank. * **** ***** ******* **** ***** ** ************ **** *** *** **** *** ******** ***** ********Business Response

Dear Ms. ****** ******* *********,
While we regret the
circumstances prompting your communication, we welcome the opportunity to
respond. We have investigated this matter in its entirety, and would like
to offer the following in response to the allegations presented to us through
the BBB website.
We obtained a statement from
our client that outlines your payments, interest charges and the total balance
still owed. We will mail a copy of this statement and a balance letter to
your home address. You will see from your statement that the increase in
your balance was due to monthly interest charges being added to your
account.
When our agent was unsure of
why the balance changed on your account, she should have advised you that she
will get an answer. At MJR we train our staff to be professional and
helpful; we apologize that you were not treated professionally by our agent. As
a result, we will provide her with further coaching.
Thank you for bringing this
matter to our attention.

I am rejecting this response because:I have received MJRs account history and it is not showing the paid amounts on the date I had deposited the money to the account their employee had provided me. You can see my original email for payment dates, and check the corresponding dates with this new photo that is *********

Dear Ms. *******,
Thank you for your ongoing communication. Given the
information your provided, we searched further and found the two
payments. The reason that these payments were not applied to your file
was that they came to us under a different name and had no reference number to
match to your file. We had no way of knowing that these two payments were
for your account. The payments have now been applied to your
balance.
You have indicated to our client that you wish to deal directly
with them. We have put your file on hold and you will not be contacted by
our agents, however, should you have any questions, you are welcome to contact
*******, toll free at ************** *****. Your reference number
is ********. For any communication or payments, please ensure that this
reference number is included.Thank you,
Julie
