      Terrible communication - they make it difficult to get simple questions answered. I have been trying to get in touch with someone for over 3 weeks now.. I call and they say they will have someone call me - no one ever calls. I email multiple times - they say they will have someone call me - no one ever calls. Seems impossible to even speak to anyone.. and this is just for simple questions. I cannot imagine what its going to be like when I actually need to get my children's money out. I stopped my contributions and am going to start a new RESP with a ********** company. * **** ** ******* ***** *** ******** ***** *** ***** ****** **** *** ********

      I have tried multiple times to contact you through email - it takes multiple days to receive an automated response similar to the one as above which is never helpful. You promise someone will reach out via phone and no one ever does. This is some of the worst customer care I have ever received.       Why do I need to use ***** to withdraw my money. I have provided my bank account last year. Why can't Embark deposit money to my bank account. I don't want ***** to access my account. To deposit my money to my account, why do Embark see my bank details

      Absolutely terrible customer service. Impossible to retrieve funds. Cannot speak with a supervisor. Do not recommend this company. Embark does NOT care about their Knowledge First Financial clients.

      I never wanted a relationship with Embark. They bought the company we dealt with, which was wonderful, and forced it on us. Their website is awful, the process for making withdrawals is ignored and students are left with no information while they wait for their money. The takeover was poorly planned, even more poorly implemented and now, Embark is jeopardizing the university and college places our children have worked so hard to obtain. *** ***** ** **** ** ********* ********* **** **** ********* ** ******** *** ********* ** ** **** ** ***** ***** **** ** *** ***** *** ** **** **** ** *** ****** **** *** From a purely financial point-of-view, the ROI is lower than average.       I submitted my complain to Embark before I made this post. I received the same auto reply others have posted and nothing since. No issues have been resolved and Embark has taken no action to resolve them.

      Deeply concerned at the ineffective 'online account activation' process which has been going on for over a month without resolution, the lengthy hold process that never resolves our issues, the emails that are ignored, and the panic which we now feel as our child's start day looms over us without any hope of accessing the funds we have been asking for since early spring 2024. Shame because we were very happy with our KFF sales representative and feel bamboozled by the sudden switch to Embark without our awareness or consent.       Terrible experience with embark. I will never refer anyone here. I mailed 2 certified cheques in a large sum to pay my annual contribution. I sent the cheques registered mail with Canada post on July 10 and have confirmed with Canada post that there were received and signed by R.D. I have had to call 3 times and still have no answer that my cheques have been received or cashed. I’ve waited on hold each time at least an hour- hour and a half on July 24, Aug 12 & Aug 20th. I have now been told that they don’t accept cheques when the letter they mailed in June indicates that cheques can be mailed payable to Embark. I have had to escalate to speak to a manager and I am no further ahead. ****** ******* ******* ** **** *** **** ********** *******  I am completely dissatisfied with Emark and I am considering loosing any interest and any government grants and taking my money back. * ***** **** ** * *** **** * **** * **

      I purchased 79.40 units of RESP with Heritage in August 2015, the sales person said the sales charge of $7940 ( which they deducted from my first two year's contribution) will be returned to us once the kid is going to university, so I trusted her saying and bought the unit, ** ***, ever since then this is the biggest investment mistake I've made. Heritage became Knowledge First and now it is Embark. Dealing with Embark is not easy, online chat nobody is available, call wait time is insane, so I emailed them with an auto response message saying i will get a reply within 48 hours, all I got within 48 hours are two emails asking about my feedbacks as they value customer service, but I received none. I finally received a reply in a week and the answer to my question is no, the sales charge is not refundable, this is heartbreaking and I need a plan summary to check it up in details. The customer representative put several paragraphs of how I can earn more $$ by referring friends, but I can't get any of my $7,940 sales charge back at a later day. We saved and struggled to come up with $5000 contribution each year, especially during pandemic, but we lost two years of contribution already as they don't honor the legacy plan.

      Hello, I have been trying to withdraw the funds online for my son for his last year of his university program but I am not able to, I am getting an error saying that I have to complete a form and send it via email and this will take 10 business days to be reviewed. I have contacted the customer service representative and the person really tried to help but there was not a clear answer why the error comes up. We went through the steps together but still no luck. I sent him the program enrolment letter, and all the other documents but still no luck. I do not understand how a company as Embark can launch such a buggy website. I am working in IT and it seems that this website was not tested properly..................I have been trying to contact the higher management and no one from support can give me any contact. All I got was from them was to fill out the form and send it via email and wait up to 10 business days. This is not acceptable. Why there is the online option to withdraw the money available if it does not work!!!!!!!!!!!! If someone from Embark can help, I would appreciate.

      We transferred from Knowledge First. We had to open a new online account to access our plans. My parents opened one with Knowledge first for each of four grandchildren, a total of 9 Plans. We registered on or about July 10, 2024. We still cannot access on-line accounts because it wants us to update the Risk Profile but there is an apparent IT issue. I have been on phone 3 seperate times for more than 2 hours each, most of it on hold. We still cannot access it. The Risk Profile is not relevant to withdrawing funds and is only a barrier. I submitted paperwork by email, including void cheque as advised. We still have no funds and cannot get anyone on the phone to assist. On two separate occosions they scheduled a call 48 hours later, for 1 pm on August 8 and no one called. A second call was set for August 12 and they failed to call. They have rejected the banking information but do not advise why, except to tell me to go on-line, which is not possible a month later. They have set barriers that are designed to prevent you from withdrawing funds and their help line is useless. Avoid. * ** ***** ** **** * ****** ********* **** **** ******** ********** *** ********* ******** ********** ********* ******* **** ****** ** ******* *** ******
