    ****, *** ***** ** ******* ******* ******** came to our house to give us a quote on both entry doors for our house. They supplied us a contract on September 13, 2022 after assuring us the job would be completed in approximately 8 weeks. We sent a deposit of $747.38 on September 14,2022 via Interac e-transfer. After that we heard nothing from the company. I tried calling several times, but all my voicemails were unreturned. Finally on December 12, **** returned an email stating they had to let *****, their office manager, go and to call and speak with *********, the new office manager. I left several messages after that and ********* finally returned my call just to inform me they would let me know the status of my order after the Christmas holidays. That was the last I ever heard from anyone connected with this company. I've emailed **** and ********* numerous times, texted ****, left countless voicemails, all without success. I've asked for a return of our deposit both by text directly to **** and the number he had previously replied from and by email on March 30th, 2023 which have gone unacknowledged.

    Hello,

    We have a signed contract with Capital Comfort Window and Doors (also now known as *** **** ******** ******) since 2021-05-21 for windows and doors replacement at our house.

    The cost of the windows and doors (including installation) is financed by **** *********.

    At the present, there are still 3 windows that have not been installed since 2021.
    We have communicated many times with the supplier by phone and email about this issue over the last 2 years. It has been always the same outcome; many promises but no windows and no answers from this business in months.

    The financing company says it’s not their concern because they are only the lenders. Regardless, they paid the supplier in full before the contract was fulfilled.

    We have no way to reach the supplier or to cancel the contract and thanks to the financing company they already have the full payment.

    Basically, we are paying for a service that has not been completed and therefore in violation of the contract.

    Furthermore, we are still in need of new windows.

    We have given the business mentioned above many chances to fulfill the contract. Their reasons have been many: Covid related issues, personnel issues, etc. but we can’t even reach them anymore.
    It is also financially impossible for us to find new supplier since we are still paying for the missing windows.

    We are at loss as of what to do next.
    What are our options, do we even have any?
    It would be greatly appreciated if you could point us in the right direction.

    We placed an custom window replacement order with Capital Comfort Windows and Doors on October 29, 2021 we signed a contract and placed a $124.30 deposit to secure the service. We were advised on Nov 10, 2021 that the window was in production and was delayed due to supply shortage. After asking for updates over time we were advised that the as of July 2022, the window still had not been received by the installer.

    We reached out on Monday March 13, 2023 for an update and the receptionist advised she had no update and would have to ask the ***** for information. She did not return our call.

    On Tuesday March 14th 2023 after some digging I learned that the company website had been taken down, their *** accreditation has been revoked as 16 complaints have been filed against them in the past 12 months.

    Today (March 15, 2023) I was able to get in touch with the ***** ****, who advised me that they are not able to locate our window in their inventory and they cannot replace the window they lost so they would install a similar sized one. This leads me to believe the window order was never placed with the manufacturer. I have schedule a call with the ***** of the company that was to manufacture the window to find out more information about the window that was ordered for me, and if the order was ever placed.

    When I asked for my deposit back, the ***** informed me that they do not have the funds available to refund our deposit, the best they can do is give us a similar sized window from their warehouse.

    This business is a **** it's been over a year now that I put a deposit for a side garage door and nobody responds to my voicemails or emails about getting my deposit back because it is a year and there is still no side garage door. Apparently somebody was frauding the company and it has gone downhill do not do business with this company I'm sure they will go bankrupt any day now there are a lot of complaints on Google reviews and here there ** has been revoked

    We put a deposit down for a new door in March 2022. We have had NO proactive communication with the company. The only way we hear from them is if I contact them to ask for an update. Every three months I contact them and they keep saying the door is in production, there is a 6 week shutdown in December, on and on with the excuses. They keep giving me a date for the door to be installed and every time it comes and goes and it put ahead another 3 months. Then we hear that one of their employees committed fraud, but don't worry your order is fine - but ONE YEAR LATER, still nothing. I have just written yet another email demanding my deposit back. Stay away from this business.

    We hired them to do our windows and doors, windows were done and paid for, no issues, then they bring us our doors, half install them and ask for payment, we said we needed a few days and their reply was they will prioritize other customers who have paid, and we scrambled to find the money but we did after a few days, all this happened Dec 23, they had their money by Dec 26. Since then they we have emailed and called and they either ignore us or tell us they will call us in 1 week to schedule us in and they never do. We have paid in full in December and the job is still not done and now they’re avoiding us.

    Capital Comfort Windows and Doors promised that I would get my purchase be the end of August 2022. Paid them a $1000,00 cash.

    Windows were installed on Feb. 22, 2022 to the tune of $2681.62. One of the windows had a broken latch upon delivery. Was advised it would be replaced. Representative came by to check window on June 16, 2022 and told me someone would call to come in and replace this part. No contact since, despite sending emails and phone messages to Capital Windows. Now, I have one of the windows handles falling off. Very poor communication. Would like the repairs done.

    Missing one glass for a frame. Had to board up window with Styrofoam insulation. Very concerned about my home being vulnerable like this.
    Next day showed up late.
    Doors promised in next 2 weeks.
    No one called.
    It is now Feb 5,2023 and my window cracked. Try to contact no answer??
    This company is very shady and only reply quickly for pay.ents but not for addressing issues.
    When they installed my windows one of the workers was drunk. The other was stoned but he said he was tired. The drunk one damaged my walls and furniture and placed garbage on my bed. Huge bin of drywall. When owner came to collect money he admitted the worker was drunk. He said the worker can focus better. ? Seriously. And when I mentioned the damage ignored it. Also,his employees were scoping my home. Making comments to my so regading video consoles. I was concerned they were going to rob me so I had a male friend come over as well. I just want my window fixed and installed properly. My concern is are my other windows also like this. I was charged 1200 per window but some were smaller and I had 5. They could not give me a breakdown for my invoice which I found very shifty.

    Dec 23 2021 I ordered a large triple glazed window 87x54 and was told install would be around April 2022. In June, September, November I followed up with always being told its late because of covid, missing parts etc. November 2022 I received an email stating one employee was stealing from them why they were late. Not long after they sent another email stating they would contact their customers and honor the prices previously agreed and they had stopped advertising to meet their orders. By January 2023 I haven't heard from them, they do not return calls and no news about my delivery. They continue to advertise and try r to **** more people, this company should not be allowed to operate. They are still advertising, amazing!!!!! STOP THESE GUYS
