    I claimed bankruptcy in 2019 and, as such, all creditors at the time were notified, including **** ****** Alberta. For the past couple weeks (2022-2023), I have been receiving calls to my new NB phone from DCA for collection of this debt. I spoke with a representative this morning and refused to give my private information. I professionally told him that I did not have an obligation to his company, but I was calling to inform him I am protected under the Bankruptcy Act from further actions by **** ****** Alberta, and they will want to stop contacting me. He told me without verification of private information that is over four years old he would not be able to do anything. To this point, he had asked me only one piece of information for verification. When I told him this was the last time I would be calling their office, he hung up on me. Now I am left to wonder if this is legitimate or whether an elaborate phishing scheme. Phone number was local to Moncton where there are many centralized call centres.

    The consumer
    called into our office advising they filed bankruptcy. For us to forward a
    request for review and closure to our client we require bankruptcy details such
    as estate #, trustee name and number or a creditors package. 
    The consumer only
    provided a general idea of her bankruptcy, and no creditor package or estate
    details were provided. Account details of the consumer’s file cannot be
    discussed without full verification which the consumer refused. Please have
    them email their creditor’s package to customer care team at [email protected] for us to update their file and forward to our client for review and closure.

    This matter was dealth with by *** in Saint John, NB, in April 2020 (** ****** ******* ** **** ***** ***** ** *** **1). 

    At such time, all information was sent to **** ****** as per the Bankruptcy Act by ***.  I will not be sharing confidential information at this time with the debt collection agency, and all communication regarding this matter is a direct infringement on my rights and the Bankruptcy Act legislation.  **** ****** is not lawful in their hiring of the debt collection agency, and the debt collection agency is not lawful in their communication with me. 

    All further communication on this matter can proceed through ***'s office.  I would advise the debt collection agency to communicate with THEIR clients, **** ******, so that they can close the matter.

    I got a call from a DCA collection with respect to an unknown debt that I am not aware of. This call was seeking to get personal information from me that I am sure they do not have, can you look into this matter, I have requested information and so far nothing from this collection agency.

    This collection agency has been refusing to provide me with a proper debt validation letter with my signature. I have written to them on a few number of ocassion, and they are not willing to validate a debt they claim i owe them. either you provide me with the orignal contract with my signature, otherwise I will be reporting you to consumer protection Ontario.

    I keep getting emails from DCA for ******* ****** INC. stating that I owe $98.51. I have never had anything other that pay as you go with ******* ****** and have called the company multiple times to be told I do not have an outstanding bill. I would like this resolved so it does not go on my credit report as i am working on rebuilding it.

    I paid this company over 3 years ago they won't take my calls and they refuse remove my paid accounts from my report.

    and Paid in Full for ******** on December 18th 2018 and coded to reflect
    as such for both. We have sent another request to have both items updated on
    January 4th 2023.

    My wallet was stolen, they did a credit check on multiple things and all the got was a payday advance, which went to collections…
    DCA has been given the police file number and I get the strong feeling that they are her king my chain and I’d greatly appreciate it if you could look into it…

    On Sept 13 2022 i called dca and made a full payment in regards to ******* ******, I just checked my credit report and it's still on there it is now Oct 30 2022 they need to pls have it marked as paid ,I do have proof it was paid by my bank thanks

    DCA phoned me to collect money on an account on behalf of **** ****** for an account back in 2020. They could not provide details only had my name. It was also too long ago to remember what the address would have been. With it being attached to my credit score. I paid off the amount which reflects my credit score with the balance being 0 . I also have proof from my bank statement that it was also paid. But they haven’t reported it to **** ******. I just recently went back to **** ****** and when paying my bill. Through a link by email. I actually paid the account I paid through the creditors. Now which causes my current account to be behind. When I called DCA today. October 13th 2022. They want me to provide details of the account that I don’t have and said they won’t help me. And hung up on me. All I need them to do is report the payment for the account. I don’t need details, and they would have enough details that the account is paid.

    I am rejecting this response because: I know that it has been paid. But **** ****** doesn’t know that’s it’s paid. Are they not required to report the account is paid. Because they are calling me about it and I recently paid the same amount again on this account. I had attached a recent bank statement showing that the funds were paid again. When I talked to **** ******. They told me to call the creditors to get them to report that the account was paid. Can they confirm that this was done?

    Several times DCA has been informed that they are filing incorrect and negative information about me with both ********** and *******
    Their file ******** * ******** are identical with only the dates differing. They have been told they are reporting the same claim twice and incorrect dates. I have disputed the alleged claims as the landlord made an agreement at the Landlord and Tenant Tribunal settlement we had, and was to pay this. This debt is not mine, is being reported twice and they are changing the dates to extend the reporting period. The attached documentation from ******** Hydro shows the last payment date of Sept 2017

    They are still reporting incorrect date of last payment.  I sent copy of payment record from ******** hydro directly.

    Additionally the owner/landlord was responsible for paying the outstanding balance from landlord tribunal agreement. Money was deducted from settlement paid out to me to cover this.
