However, we believe it’s important to clarify that your account was sent to collections after services were completed and multiple attempts were made to resolve the outstanding payment directly with you. Our goal is to support both customers and contractors by providing a reliable and fair platform for home services.
      We understand that emotions can run high when payment issues arise, but our team followed standard procedures and made every effort to resolve the matter professionally. Personal attacks against our staff are unnecessary and inappropriate.

      ***** ** * ***** ***** *** ******. They take a massive 30–40% cut from every contractor’s pay just for connecting them with a client — that’s *****, not a service. It doesn’t matter how good you are or how hard you work, they’ll ban your account for some ridiculous reason eventually, just to make room for others on their waitlist. As a customer, you’re unknowingly handing over a huge chunk of your payment to the platform while the person actually doing the job gets ******. They’ll hold or even deduct your pay over false complaints without verifying anything. And if a customer cancels on you an hour before the job? You get nothing.       The “pros” that they hire or permit to use their app are terrible! They will accept jobs for which you have highlighted constraints and then change plans on you. This stops the job from going to other Pro’s. If you have an issue with a Pro the Jiffy support team and head office DO NOTHING to help you. They just charge your card and move on. This is NOT quality work or professionals accepting these jobs.

      Regrettably, the client encountered an issue with the amount that was charged. Throughout the resolution process, the client expressed a desire to not pay any amount and made inappropriate insults towards us.

      My experience with Jiffy has been great. I’ve used it a few times now and it’s been super easy to use each time. Using the website was easy. I booked a job and had a Pro there the same day. He was efficient and did a really good job. Price was reasonable and it was easy to pay through the website. I recommend Jiffy to all my friends just because of how convenient it is with reliable service.

      They do not have any respect for contractors that work for them, they are ******* on contractor fee, if customer gives you thumbs down its additional 2% deduction, every time, new fee up to 40%, thats how much they charge contractor, if the job is more complicated and it takes more time then 1 hour, lots of customers do not like it and big chance to get thumbs down. They **** on material, their fee goes on top of the material cost as well, that's **** both ways, contractor and the customer

      We used Jiffy for several jobs. Two required the use of the warranty as the job was sub par (as was determined by their own contractors who repaired it). We were charged of course for the warranty on every job. I wanted to get quotes for paining the house today (we were happy with several contractors we used), we received a message that account is not active and then received a message from the Customer service that essentially because we complained, our account was deactivated and we can not use Jiffy anymore (it was of course worded in a round about way "we want to keep homeowners happy, etc"). Essentially, if you use their promised warranty service and annoy them, they do not want you on the platform. It also lead to a lot more positive reviews.

      Over the years, I've used Jiffy for BBQ cleaning, HVAC maintenance, snow removal, window washing, pest control, and upholstery cleaning. Overall, I've been very pleased with the efficiency of booking through the APP, and importantly the services have all been professional and well executed. I also signed up for the subscription which has perks like free yard bags and ice melter bucket each season.

      I hired Jiffy to fix some siding, add aluminum trim around a sliding door, aluminum sleeves on two posts and install flashing on a small porch roof. I provided detailed images of the the work to be done and they sent a roofing company for the job. The estimate was $2500 which was approved. After a site visit, they wanted an additional $700 which I approved as well. Once the work was started, it was clear the quality was nowhere near professional.
      Aluminum strips against a brick wall with gaps that had no caulking and dangerous pointed edges. Aluminum caps with rounded edges and caulking that looked as if it was the first time he had attempted such a thing. ******* ** *** ****** *** **** ***** ****** ** ** ******** ** **** **** *** ****** 
      They were able to remove the light fixture on the siding but would not re-attach it because they were not electricians??? They removed the electrical box and just left two wires sticking out from the siding with no box underneath forcing me to find something that could be attached on the siding surface to anchor the fixture.
      Once I saw the quality of the work, I stopped the job and asked for a refund for the remainder as they had gone ahead (without confirmation) and charged the full job on the credit card before completion.
      I ended up removing 70% of what they had done and redoing the work to discover why the aluminum sleeves had mostly crooked rounded edges. The frame he had built was an appalling display of workmanship.
      A job that should have taken days extended into a few months.
      Jiffy claims 90% of their tradespeople receive positive reviews yet if that is in fact the case, why do they hide these great reviews. They claim they warranty the work and take all complaints seriously however, when I told them I was extremely disappointed with the work, I never heard back from them again. They’re all about sales.
      What a waste of money and time.
