1 star**** ** ******* *** ********* ******* It has absolutely no respect for its customers. My fibe tv service is nothing but problems. I spent enormous amount of time to talk to its customer agents who basically told me to do the same thing over and over again without solving the problem.
Finally they would send technicians who recommended me to upgrade my modem. The new modem made matters worse. They scheduled a technician to come. The day before the appointment I got a phone call from a technician whether I can be at home in half an hour. I said yes and when I came home the technician called and said the job had been cancelled by dispatch. An hour later, I got another call from a technician saying he will come. Again suddenly dispatch cancelled the job.
Why is Bell doing this to its customers?Review fromJonathan L

1 starDealing with Bell and their *********** customer service department at all levels ** **** ***** ** * ******* ************. Spending 20 to 30 min at a time on the phone to not resolve any proplem you have billing, technical whatever... and to hear apologies for their ************ means nothing. The constant apologies does not change the fact that Bell is not trying to do anthing better. I have numerous ongoing problems with bell after trying to close one account Ontario and returning equipment billing etc. and the same problems with my new account in NS. I have been on the phone 5 or 6 times now over the last 2 months to get no resoultions ** ***** ************ ** * ******** ****** **** ** **** ***** **** ******* ** ** * *********Review fromYuk Ling T

When you subscribe to Bell Canada services, such as TSN, they include automatic renewal, and if you try to cancel on the renewal date they don't provide any grace period and basically charge you for another year.Bell TV

**** *********
I'm not sure what type of television service you are referring to with your inquiry.
For example TSN if you cancel you will be charged up to the date of cancellation however if you are referring to Sports packages such as MLB or the NFL package once the renewal starts than you are committed to the full season.

1 star** * ***** **** * ******** ******* * ****** I was with Bell TV for 14 years, Home Phone for 33 years, and Internet for 4 years.
I made a request to transfer all my services to another provider as they offered me the same services, literally, for half price.
I requested a promotional offering given to "new customers" at the same price, they declined, and if anything, tried to upgrade me to an internet speed and TV package that was more expensive than their competitor, and a speed not needed.
I made the Change Over for all 3 services on May 18th to the competitor, and got an email the next day saying that Bell got a request "Only" for the Phone line. Something that is odd, as the home line is only achieved with the internet service (FIBE).
I contacted Bell and told them that it was all three, not the Home Phone exclusively, and that the Installation would happen on May 23rd.
The Bell rep told me that the others would be cancelled the next day the 24th(!!), even if I told them that I wanted everything done the day I made the switch (May 18th).
Prior to all this, I had suspended my TV service for 6 months between the months of September 15th 2023 to March 15th.
When my TV service came back off suspension, my bill was sent to me (March 28th, 2024) for the amount of $141.86 (apparently just Phone and Internet, including rentals).
The shock came on April 29th, when I received my new bill for $389.27(!!) as they "Double Billed" me for TV for the previous month, and the "prepay" for the Month of May.
I spoke with Bell Agent ******* who told me my billing cycle "Prepays TV and Landline" to May 20 (TV) and May 18 (Landline), while my Internet finishes April 30.
I asked If I cancelled, would the amount be prorated and refunded, they said yes.
I just got a Bell Bill for $266.34 for the month of June, for all 3(!!) services, even after Cancelling on May 18th (my request), and their "May 24th" date.
All they do is ***** You. My current bill is $135.00/month.Review fromMarcel L

1 starLeft Bell about 10years ago because of terrible service. Went with ********* for 10years and was quite happy. Decided to go back to bell because I thought prices, product & service had improved significantly but alas was totally disappointed. Billing was constantly inaccurate. Bell TV Fibe did not live up to its promise to allow viewing your TV package abroad. Customer service was TERRIBLE! Negotiation is not possible, only after you call to cancel!Review fromWayne A

1 starReceived and email saying my account was overdue so i paid the bill with my credit card. I then noticed Bell took out the payment ( i had set up auto pay the previous month). When i called they said “to get a refund they have to mail a cheque which takes a week). After telling them to proceed they now said “oh we were mistaken, we can credit your credit card. I said proceed. A week later still no refund, when i called to enquire i was told they will investigate and call back within 2 more days. Today ( a week later from original contact) they called saying this is the “executive office” and it is not simple and perhaps it may need to just be applied to the account. It IS simple, you key in the information and the card is refunded. This run around is so typical of Bell and needs to stop! They seem to do this with ********. I would never recommend Bell to my friends or family. Never missed a payment, great customer and you are treated like this.Review fromJessica C

1 starBell Canada-Major concerns
Issue 1:
My building just installed Bell Fibe and they had sale representatives in our building. I spoke to two separate sale representatives who both communicated a deal which included Wi-Fi and 450 streaming tv channels, describing it as the premium package for a certain amount per month. When installed I learned that they were ********* regarding the actual package which included; approximately 125 channels and the “premium” package including an additional 17 channels. Definitely does not add up to 450!!!
When I called Bell they indicated that they could not honor what their sales representatives communicated and would place a complaint. If I wanted to upgrade they offered the difference in monthly fees
Issue 2:
I hooked up my tv/wifi account on Feb. 25th, 2024. On March 2nd I received a statement requesting the full amount for the month (March 25th, 2024) to be paid by March 11th. When I called Bell to complain, the telephone representative indicated that the actual payment was due on March 25th and the reason for the 11th was to ensure that if a person paid by online banking it would be paid on time. There was no where on the statement communicating such a break down.
Misrepresenting and ********* messaging both verbally and written form. This is so frustrating and I am prepared to cancel even though I just joined.Review fromAngela P V

1 starWhen I moved here I was told my bill would be $94.00 monthly, with inherent/TV included. Zero installation, free ***** TV, and lowered my cell phone bill from 185.00 plus taxes to 105.00 plus taxes. Guaranteed to have bell Internet in timmins. Unfortunately they started to charge me 350.00 plus taxes to have there services in my home. Also when I got my phone it was broken, my file had been broken since day one. I have a credit limit of 1500.00 and they cut me off and continue to bill me for services I don't have. ********. They refuse to take a payment arrangement l. So I'm stuck with a broken cellphone, no services and very very upset. Now they want over 1600.00 in order for the services to be reconnected, offered them 650.00 for end of month to reconnect cell phone. Refuse to turn on services. ******* ******** * ****.Review fromSvetlana B

1 starWe have been with Bell since July 2012. On the Bell website the current price of the plan we have with them (Gigabit Fibe) is listed as $155/month; they charge us $247 and offer a $45 credit which expires in March. When I called to ask to adjust our price based on the posted price, they told me that the rates listed were wrong and from last year (we are on February 2024!) and that the rate we have to pay is indicated on our invoice.
I said that they should apply the prices displayed to the public on their site, as in stores. But the answer was NO. They send “tickets” to correct the prices on the site, but they remain unchanged, they said.
I said it was * *** ** Bell's part because it was false advertising.
They said I should consider myself lucky because other customers pay more than us.
We will probably change the provider *** *** **** ********** ***** *** *** **** ********
