      Water heater for condo broke. Needs replacement. Called reliance was told that a tech would come "tomorrow". They will no show and no call for the next 5 days. When called to ask why no show no call they say "tomorrow". When rep came he said work couldn't be done alone would come back "tomorrow" (day 6 without hot water). Tomorrow came and rep no show no call. Called to find out why reliance made us call rep ourselves. Rep said he refuses to do work because he is one man show and unless we pay Plummer to remove toilet he wont do it. Said he doesn't have the tank we want and should go for a bigger one (more expensive) one he does have or wait until he can get one we want. Who knows when. No options given. Now day 7 without hot water.

      I have been a client since 1996, and have never needed any service. My water heater started leaking 2 weeks ago, and stopped working. When I called for service I was given an appointment for a month later. My many calls and emails have either been left unanswered, or I have dealt with people who are polite and apologetic, but have no ability to help me. Reliance is happy to take your money (the machine has been paid for many times over), but are nowhere to be found when you need help.

      I have been with the *************** for some 20 years, even after the Reliance furnace company took them over a few years back. in January 2020, I had a new furnace and AC installed. Got it on a 7 year lease agreement. what they did not disclosed is that they put a lien against my property for 10 years. So far, I have been in the agreement for a bit more than 2 years, never missed a payment. I am disappointed in the dishonesty of the business, that they should have properly disclosed that information. The sales person came to our home and made everything seems so nice with their payment plan and then betray you with their dishonesty.
      I wrote to them and they never replied as I would like them to remove that lien against my property. *************************************************************** *********

      I had an new A/C and Furnace installed and was renting it for $158 a month. I decided to buy out the until and was given a price. I brought a draft cheque for the full amount of $11,469.50 to the Windsor Blackacre Drive office. I was told Windsor doesn't have a customer service office (which is terrible) but the Reliance employee agreed to pass the cheque to the appropriate department. This was on February 17 2022. I received my monthly bill and it said I still owe the full amount and they never received it. After several calls to them and ********* calls to me I advised them I would put a Stop payment on it and reissue a new one. On March 21st I mailed the new one by *********** with a tracking number and it arrived in Oshawa March 23 2022. (I was just advised last week that office is not the one it should have gone to and advised that an Reliance employee gave me that office address. ). So come April and May and June after several phone calls by me and several ********* calls by them they say they still haven't received it although my bank said it was cashed on April 26 2022. They billed me $306 back in May and I assumed this was for a rental fee. I told them I didn't owe that but she assured me my account will be paid in full after I paid this. I later found out $172 of it was for late payment because they didn't receive the cheque (that they cashed). Five months later I am finally getting somewhere. My bank sent a copy of the cashed cheque to them to make sure Reliance was the company and cashed it!!!! Appearantly *********** had cashed another customers cheque and they just wanted to be sure it was them. *************************************************************** ************** They are going to get back to me to confirm if it was fraud or they cashed it. This is the most horrible company I have dealt with. *********************** ***********, Windsor,Ontario
