      This place is absolutly ridiculous. So I started a new store got my merchandise, started marketing myself and got my first sale. Shortly after that, I got an email my store was being closed and that the buyer was disputing the charges. So the bank sent me a response form, I responded and then I won the dispute. So they had to return the money to me, that they had already taken. And they said it would be paid out to me by the next pay period. I had it set to pay daily so I waited like a week. Then still hadn't recieved anything on my Shopify card, so I contacted support. The first agent I spoke with told me it'd be 24 hours before I recieved my payout. So I waited 1 day and still wasn't on there. So I have contacted support at least 2 times a week for the past 5 weeks! And still haven't recieved nothing.... They keep telling me they had to escalate this to specialists and wait for an email from them and still haven't heard nothing, haven't recieved nothing. I have complained and asked to talk to the specialist they can't forward my call to them! I think I am getting ripped off. I am getting more and more irritated the more I think about it...

      Worst experience ever, Shopify has charged me for 6+ months for something they said would be cancelled a long time ago. It's all a scheme to con customers into paying for services the customer said repeatedly they DO NOT NEED! How horrible to pocket money like this! And on top of that when I reached out to customer services months ago they said they will refund me the money AND they promised my subscription will be cancelled. I trusted these incompetent customer service reps and believed they would take care of it. Months go by and I notice they NEVER cancelled my service when they clearly said they will take care of this. I do not have the useless time and patience to look through emails for proof, this is not my job! I am filing a complaint against shopify so other customers can be warned. When ****** this exact question there are hundreds of similar complaints against shopify. The entire experience has been aggravating! Such a dishonest company! And they have hired representatives who will say anything to keep the customers getting conned.

      Sounds like this is a common theme with Shopify. I have sold over $12,500 worth of goods to people I work with at my company. All have either been delivered or shipped with tracking numbers in their orders. I have been in touch with Shopify since I made my first sale asking when my funds will be available so that I can pay off my credit card charges for the items I have had shipped. For a month, the standard answer is we will escalate this, but nobody ever will give me an answer of when my funds will be available. I have provided all documentation and answers/links to questions asked and every single time I call the only answer I get is we will escalate this to the highest priority. Doesnt help that I never get an answer to when I will be able to pay for the expenses incurred for the merchandise I have fulfilled. Horrible service. Use any other platform.

      Beware of Shopify Scam!!! I am a ******** Citizen born in Canada. I signed up for the shopify basic monthly plan in Canada. I recently found I was being billed and charged in U.S dollars. When I contacted support they said you have to tick a box saying that you do not want to be charged in U.S. dollars and then they will charge you in ******** dollars. Why would I even think that you would have to do this? Who would think of such a thing?They do not tell you this up front or they would not make any money. How many millions have they made from Innocent people who did not know this like me?Is this a Scam or should it be up to to the beginner customer who chooses ******************** amongst a Sea of Internet web hosting?Who in there right mind would rather pay in U.S dollars then pay the much lesser dollar in the **************** in which you live??Is this buyer beware or a Scam??People need to know that if you live in Canada you will be charged US if you do not know this!!!

Shopify primarily charges in USD as a large portion of our Merchants are based in the US. However, local currency billing is available to merchants living outside of the US and are able to choose what option suits their needs.       My funds have been on HOLD for month and a half, I have raised this issue with their customer service which does not offer you a solution rather than just open a ticket, saying that someone form their "team" will contact me soon, not sure what "soon" mean for Shopify, but it has been more than a month now, my money is still on hold. I went on to their customer support page just to find out their 24/7 chat is not available...meaning good luck with my case/complaint.I can't believe this is Shopify's mission to play with small businesses's money.....Does anyone at Shopify care about their customers???.

      Ive been with shopify for over 2 years and now all of sudden they need to verify my account and have withholding my funds for over 2 weeks. They ask me to take down products of which I did to still them holding my funds. I have kids and this is my only income. I need my funds to take care of my family like buying diapers etc. I email them everyday explaining my concerns they even lied and said I still had products on there that needed to be removed which Ive already done again lies upon of me being feed up I deactivated my store and then they stole 15 dollars after I already payed my subscription of 51 dollars which I should not be paying I should be paying 30 dollars instead why am I paying 51 dollars and then another 15 dollars after I deactivated my account and my subscription wasnt up yet. They are bullies fraudulent company very unprofessional. They stole from me and still havent released my funds. I would never recommend and to go to shopify unless they want there money stolen or holding your funds after you done everything that they ask. They are liars and this fraud they have to be stop and upon reading these complaints Im not the only one. I got an email saying that they my store is disabled when I already deactivated it so how is it disabled unprofessional I just want my funds to be released my products have been sent out with my money time and hard work for them to keep my funds its not far my baby had to go without diapers because of this and to beg and scrape up money to buy diapers when I got money on hold that I work for. Bullies fraud unpaid never again. Please release my funds or do something about this company they are known for stealing and holding to funds that you work for this has to stop. Im getting a lawyer and Im sure Ill win just by all these complaints Im not the only one do better.

      Holding our funds while they verify we have the rights to sell our items. It is literally linked on every page of our website that we have permission to sell these items to the manufacturer's website. They seized our money without notice and it has been weeks of not replying to emails and stealing our money. This is FRAUD!
