      They encourage signing up for their capital loan then lock you out of your balance account that funds it. Then they hold your payouts from sales all while charging late fees on remitting the payments for their capital loans. When you go to resolve the issue it takes weeks all the while your business slowly gets bled of money. They have held payments for no reason for three weeks now. I have spent countless hours chatting with a person? a bot? they don't have a way to call in to resolve issues, once again showing signs about how much of a scam this is. This organization is a den of thieves that lures in small business owners and slowly bleeds them dry. I have documents showing the theft and refusal to pay out. When you threaten legal action they magically deposit an amount that is half of what is owed...all the while still charging you for a loan while they destroy the very means you were contracted to pay them back with.I honestly believe that this company needs to be looked into further as it seems they avoid legal trouble by long delay times and an absolute lack of any helpful customer service. They will make you promises and not act on anything.These are scammers through and through and the federal government needs to look into them. I am so locked into their organization now that my inventory, products, and tax recording is tied to their "service". Leaving or changing platforms would destroy my business. Now I'm contractually obligated to allow them to steal from me and my local community.

      In January this year I started to complete my profile on Shopify web side, in order to open a shop later on. I never opened the shop neither did I purchase any good from other vendors. I did not enter any information about my credit card or any other payment method as i was told this was a free trial, However today I just realized that Shopify has been charging over $ 40 per month and I need this money to be reimbursed. I started a formal protest of these withdrawals with my bank and will complete all the reviews on line that I can come across with if this is not responded by this company as I expect.i do not want any commercial relationship with a company that without my knowledge takes my money from my bank and does not even offer any alternative for customer to contact somebody directly: That is consider unacceptable within the basic norms on customer service care.****** ******

      I have tried for days to contact the Shopify customer service department with no help. Our website was shutdown due to an expired credit card and the acting CEO of our company quit. He was the acting Admin for the Shopify account which I got access to but no one time passcodes were sent to his account after numerous requests to reset. This situation is significantly impacting our profits and business as a whole.

      Upon reach out out for support about my shop cash missing, they only gave me a partial amount for what the initial order was, even though the store was at fault for editing my order and not starting a new order. By doing this it took away the opportunity to earn more shop cash. The agent ****** said that your feedback is invaluable when I asked to speak with a supervisor, even after my 3rd and 4th request he is refusing to connect me to his supervisor. it wasnt professional. Will not continue using this service.

      ******** platform to use! They have no live person to speak with. Its going on 2 wks theyve locked up my payouts for my business! Ive sent documents in and they literally take days to reply! How do you lock up payouts for a business and you have no live agents for anyone to talk to and u have thousands of dollars just sitting! Its horrible! They used to have live agents now they have none just a email that barely replies and a support advisor who gives the bare minimum in information! I highly recommend no one uses them!

      I recently wanted to buy online from a new-to-me business, where I had never shopped before. When I went to check out, to my ****************** Shop Pay automatically popped up as my only payment option & had filled in my name, address, phone number, email, & debit card info. I suspect that I unintentionally signed up for Shop Pay when checking out at a previous online store, & I wanted to find out how, where & when this happened. I then learned from the Shop Pay Chat that I could not communicate with a live person, as I was a mere purchaser & not a merchant, & that in order to access my purchase history with Shop Pay, I had to get the Shop Pay app. I got my computer support person to help me with this, but I ran into the same dead end trying to get at my history. So I gave up & deleted my Shop Pay account before it could give me any more grief.I wasn't expecting anything like this to happen, as I didn't even know that it was possible. In the future I will be watching closely for anything that says Shopify or Shop Pay so I can avoid it.Shopify should give the purchaser a clear option to Opt Out of Shop Pay & require the purchaser to click somewhere to Opt In; the default should be Opt Out rather than Opt In. The purchaser should be able to access their history & communicate with a real person.Shopify/Shop Pay is duplicitous, underhanded, & intransigent. When I couldn't get past the "Don't have a store? Sign up for a free trial!" part of the robot chat, it felt like talking with a drug dealer who was offering a free sample to get people hooked.Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me.Thank you for your attention.

      The Chat is no help. They won't connect me with a support person because I'm just an ordinary purchaser; you have to have a store to access live support. Meanwhile I looked up Shopify in the Ottawa Yellow Pages & found a phone number, & you have to leave them a message with your email address for them to contact you. I'm trying this, as it seems to be my only option.

      I purchased a smoker they took payment but no smoker I tried ti contact shopify after trying to contact the seller and having my email retued to me. but they refuse to get involved so now I'm out my money and a smoker. It was so hard getting to talk to someone and you can't find any phone numbers to contactanyone.

      I did try contacting ther vendoer through your web site/ app. because i didn't have the url I was unablel to file a report. You, (shopify) don't have the venders phone number on file and the email address was returned to me so I ask you how am I supposed to contact them when I have no way of getting there phone number or **** a good website address. So I ask you how do you have a vendor in your system but don't have any good contact information that is useful. As a company if i was the owner of shopify I would make it a rule to have all good contact information on the vendors that are selling things under my businesses name. It makes you guys look like you have no clue as to what you are doing. Your customer service is also to be less desirable you should be helping the people when they have problems with the vendors and there orders instead of helping the vendors avoid filling there orders. i need help contacting the vendor but no one bothers to see if that is what i need or what it is I need help with. So when you get that information could you maybe pass it on to me
