The springs and cables that support one of our garage doors were replaced by Premium Doors however upon completion the garage door was a couple of inches out of alignment. We called many times over a couple of months to try to get someone to come back out to fix the issue but kept getting the run around (they were coming yet no one showed up, the tech was not answering their phone etc). After a couple of months (20+ calls later), we finally made other arrangements to have the door fixed (turns out it was an issue with two drum bolts). Unfortunately, they required full payment up front before the job was started, and they required us to sign an agreement that states that you agree to not open a credit card dispute. This does not leave alot of recourse options if the job is not done properly.

      * ***** **** **** ******* * **** ** **** * ***** ****** ** ********* Two men showed up. One seemed to be in charge. They looked at the garage door and told me ‘the problem’ which even I knew was silly. I had to have the garage door open (done by hand with a rope attached that I pulled and walked easily with the door to open). I told them I’d check with other companies. Then the man in charge said they’d want &450 to close the door for me! I expressed my astonishment. He said it was because it would take 2 men since the door is so heavy. I said I would do it myself (I am a woman). I proceeded to this by pulling the rope and walking the door down. The man was angry and charged me $50 for the ‘consult’ which I paid just to get rid of him.

***** **** ******* ** *** ****** **** *** ******** ********* Told us they will come for a service call that we would pay for (which we agreed to) once they came we paid them, they then told us the money for the service call would go towards the reparation. They told us they could do it in 1-2 days. 4 days later we have been calling them each day and their response is either we need to wait for our manager or technician to get back to us. They then never call you back
Never book with this company you will waste money on a service call as they do not fix anything only tell you what to fix, but then they are not never available to do the work, terrible service **** ****** *** ** ******* * *******

Eight months ago, Premium Doors installed a new track for our garage door, which came with a five year warranty. We now started having the same problem again, so we called to have it checked out.
James S, the owner, came, and after just pressing the wall switch a few times to open and close the garage door, he decided that the garage door and opener were too old and the door too heavy for the opener to lift it, and that the problem had nothing to do with the track that had been installed eight months before. He said that the only solution would be to buy a whole new garage door and opener assembly, which he'd be able to provide.
I explained that the issue was exactly the same one we had before, and the door is no heavier now than it was then. And if the problem was not track related in the first place, why were we advised to install a new one, which had in fact resolved the problem (until now)?
James got very defensive and said that the previous technician had been fired. To which I pointed out that the company is still responsible for the job he did. He became offensive and would hear no more, saying that he is the professional and therefore we had no right to disagree with him. Then he pronounced he'd put a note on my file not to attend to any more service calls from my address, and left, ******* ** ****** *** ** *********.
************** ******* He barely looked at the track, treated us like imbeciles, and then rendered the five-year warranty worthless.
This is not a reputable company. They entice you with a five-year warranty, which they do not honor.

I called Premium Doors February 17,2023 to fix my garage door. It would not shut. They came down and asked me about the remote. He claimed the battery was dead and asked me if I wanted a new. battery. I agreed and he went into
his truck and fished a battery out of a paper cup, It was able to close I received an invoice which said that they fixed my remote. The remote was not the problem, I called them to fix my garage door and not the remote.
I went to my garage door less than half an hour later and the door opened , but I was unable to shut it. I called them up 3 to 4 times and was told that they would called me the next day (which never materialized). When I finally called and complained, I was told that they fixed the problem and if I wanted them to come down and the remote work, they would charge me $1,000.00
      (that's right a thousand dollars), *** ********* *** **** **** *** *********
It was as if it was inconvenient to discuss my problem.
      The invoice was from ***** ******** ***  **** *** ********* ******** ******** **** ****** **** *** **** On the internet. * ***** ***** ******* * **** ***** *** ****** **** *** **** They even have a ********.
I will in the future be very leer y about hiring anyone.
PS They claim to offer Senior's Discount . which I never received.

****** ** **** ******** Besides charging $1700 to replace the hardware on a single car townhouse garage (single spring, two cables, hinges and rollers) they display very poor customer service. Missing multiple appointments without a call. I had to call them every time. Even with my complaints and the promise to speak to management they never called. **** ************** *******

I contacted the company on a Saturday evening to repair my garage door opener. They weren’t able to send anyone until midnight, so I scheduled for the next morning. Another technician from another company was able to come sooner (which was important, because my car was literally stuck in my garage), so I called to cancel my appointment before my time. I was told I would have to pay their “lowest service fee guaranteed in all of the GTA” of $29 (every company has this rate that I looked into). I stated I didn’t have any service, so why should I pay it? I was told the technician was already on their way to my house (the technician was suppose to call 20mins before heading over to ensure I was home, ** ****** * ***). When I called them out on it, they basically said I could pay it, or pay $60, or $90 for it to go to collections. Don’t know how it doubles or triples, so interested to see my bill.
When I asked to speak to someone in either a management position or the owner, I was told “why would I give you that information? Who are you, you’re not even a customer” (so I’m not a customer, but I’m being charged?). The person on the phone continued to attempt at belittling me stating he knows the laws better than I do and does not have to provide any information to me about who I can speak to above him, and actually said now he’s going to charge me for “being cheeky”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this company upcharges severely and “recommends” repairs that are not necessary.

      * ***** **** *** ********* *** * ***** ******* ******* ** ** ****. He could not diagnose my problem and have me a whole bunch of reasons why it wasn’t working ( actually it was a sensor issue). He wanted to come back and charge me 479$ to fix it. I refused. He said by law he had to disengage the doors. I had no idea what he was doing. He cut the cables that I had installed two weeks prior by another company. All he had to do was pull the lever. He charged me 169$ for this trick. So upset. You can’t trust people who say they are professional.
