      *** ***** **** **** *** **** ******* *** ******** ****** *** *** *** ***** Silly customer services people and not trained well, Banks software is terrible!!
      *** ********* ** *** **** **** *** **** ********* ** ******* ******** I ordered call back, machine calling me back, and asking me to press #1 then #2 and nothing works,
      We paying interest from our account to our line of credit account, they telling us we did not pay, when I open my account and talk on the phone to some one from the bank, and asked person if she can see the payment I did, the answer was: O... yes I can see that, then it happens again and again, and they try to blame us that we are not paying on time. My phone is primary phone in there, but they keep calling my wife with same questions even after she told them to phone me!! They never phone!!
      There mortgage broker sold mortgage to us on a condition I asked to increase our line of credit, as soon as we sign the mortgage, He told us that's maximum we approved!!! Brokers name i:
      Patel B. ***** ***** *** *** ****** ******!
      We planning to close all the accounts and mortgage with this bank as soon as possible

      Horrific experience... They claim my government cheques are fraudulent...so Now instead of just holding the cheques..They are denying me access to my cash that is in my account!!!!
      The government cheques were provided by the ******** ** ****** *********** * ******* ********* ** * ****** ***** *** **** I've had to call 7 times.. the 6th time after being on hold for over an hour..just randomly got disconnected...so on hold AGAIN..to get a valid reason for holding MY $$ on top of the cheques. One manager promised to call me 11:30am - but did not phone until 4pm and said she couldn't help me..yeah because at 4pm the office to verify the cheques was now closed.. just a nightmare & extremely disappointed in this entire experience. How can the ******** ** ****** *********** *** ******* ********* give me a fraudulent cheque?!?!? Seems completely BIZZARE

      I am beyond disappointed in Simpli Financial handling of my situation.I was defrauded of almost $2000 from my chequing account. I found out because I received an email notification that someone has purchased $250 "Simpli Financial digital gift card".Obviously I dropped what I was doing immediately called Simpli Financial, while on hold the scam artist purchased another card for the same amount. Agent did answer in the timely manner, ill give them that, I told him to freeze the account immediately as I am getting scammed as we speak, he told me has to verify a few things and in the mean time I was scammed for 3rd card worth $ 250. He then said he will be transferring my call to fraud center. At this point my card was still not frozen and guess what, they not were able to transfer $980 out my account via "Global money Transfer".Keep in mind that I had never used chequing account for anything other then my mortgage payments that come off automatically, utilities, and paying off my credit card as well as direct deposit from my work. Why were consecutive purchases , minutes from each other , of digital gift cards were able to go through? How was the money order not raise any flags since I had never transferred money overseas ?I do deal with other banks and I am not even able to transfer money myself to BTC account without them calling, Is Simpli Financial that low security? Furthermore, once I was talking to the Fraud department and finally my card was frozen, The gentleman on the phone was very dismissive, telling me they are gonna do their investigation and if it turn's out to be fraud they will reimburse me in 2 weeks' this how you treat a customer after over 15 years? what if this was the last $2000 I had , do they think that the mortgage company is gonna care whether I was defrauded or not? Im very disappointed and I feel that I should take my banking elsewhere, yes I get it, its $0 service fees , but I guess the old saying rings true...you get what you pay for!

      Started an application back in August. Never even completed it. Told them to cancel the application, because they were making it absolutely impossible to complete (plus theyre customer service skills are completely non-existent, if you have a complaint). *** ******* *** **** ********** ** *****. It has been 3 months if constant calls and emails and letters in the mail. Only reason the calls and emails stopped is because i changed my number and deleted that email address.
      Ive wasted HOURS of my time on the phone with people getting bounced around from person to person, being hung up on constantly. All cause I ask them to STOP bothering me with the letters.
      And now I have to go through the hassle of CLOSING multiple bank accounts that NEVER should have been opened as the application was NEVER completed. **** ** ****** ** **** **** ******* ****** **** ********* ****** ** ** ***** ********* ** ****** ** *** **** **** ******* **** * *** **** ******* *** **** **** *** ***** ****** ********* ********

      I received my bank card in the mail. I am unable to use it because I can't get verified. I phone them and the customer service person said it should be done the next day. It wasn't I phoned again 3 days later. They told me it should be done by Monday. It wasn't I have waited 7 business days so far. I called again today and the customer service person told me to call them again in another 2-5 business days. my experience has left me wary. I'm now worried that if I bank with them and something goes wrong it will take forever to get resolved. I can't afford that. I'm going to give them another 5 business days and If I've not gotten my account activated I will request it closed.

      Their wait times to get help are far too long. Advertising a new Global Money Transfer service that is deeply flawed. First time using it, locks me out of my banking for suspected fraud and apparently a text approval that was never received. Was transferred to **** security support (1 hour wait) and they were able to unlock and have now wasted 3 business days. Do the transfer again but realize the first "rejected" one has not been refunded into my account. ******* ********** if fraud was suspected and the transaction rejected should you not have the money refunded immediately? On the phone with another hour wait, and customer service struggled to give me answers or a timeline of when the funds would be returned.

      I am writing this review in utter unhappiness and dissatisfaction in the service and customer care provided. I have been speaking to Simplii Financial managers for almost 4 months now to get a balance hold released. Till now, I have spoke to 5-6 managers but not even one of them have taken ownership of it. For something that should have been done internally, I had called may be 13-14 times and have received one call back for an update. The amount held up is for my crop, which CRA by mistake send to my personal account. I have provided letter from CRA, snapshot of online CRA my business account (outlining me and my wife is the owner's & director's of the company) and also provided the incorporation documents for the corp (outlining me and my wife is the owner's & director's of the company). But the department, who I can not directly reach decided that I need a business license certificate for them to release the money. My company is a holding company and not a active company. Not sure why they can not understand that. one of the customer relationship managers (Sueanne), who was the only one even bothered to call back to provide me with an update had resent the documentation on Aug 12 and explained the situation to the department in question. But nothing, like the whole department is on vacation for months. Today is September 8, 2022 and they were to respond back with in 5 business days after Aug 12, 2022. and it was the second time I have sent the documentation. So disappointed in the service and utter lack for customer relationship. I am currently paying around 9% interest on some of my loan and Simplii decided to held back $2,401.95 because one of there department do not want to do there jobs. Very unhappy.

      Horrible customer service! Both on the online chat and over the telephone just horrible. Spent over 2 hours combined and NOTHING was resolved. Go to a real bank.
