** *** *** been with telus for 28 years, *** paid for the device care for my cell phone which extends the manufacture warranty, states there is up to 3500 dollars per 24 months allowed. Screen repair should cost only 40 dollars. Not to mention was told parts where waiting at mobile clinic get there they do not have the parts. I have not had a phone for 3 days can't log into any accounts and right before you leave phoneless they want to sign something thata says we may erase your phone. They should have given me a new phone is what was stated in their agreement and ******* now they are charging 200 dollar..*** *** ** DEVICE PROTECTION *** * **** THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. TELUS YOUVE GONE DOWN HILL. NOTHING FOR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BEEN LOYAL FOR YEARS. ** ******* ** *** ** ****** AFTER 28 YEARS YOU CANT KEEP YOUR WORD AND DO NOTHING FOR YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS

As an *** member with TELUS, I was eligible for a device upgrade and chose to wait for the 25th anniversary promotional offers. The deal presented to me included the ******* ****** *** Ultra, along with a complimentary ****** Watch * and ****** Buds 3rd Edition. I have a screenshot of the offer as proof and proceeded with the upgrade based on this promotion.
Upon completing the upgrade, I expected to receive a follow-up email to confirm the color of the watch—something I’ve experienced in previous promotions. However, I only received a copy of my contract and no further communication regarding the promotional items.
Over the past four days, I have made multiple attempts to contact TELUS support. Each time, I was told I would receive a callback. I waited on hold for over 45 minutes on several occasions, only to be disconnected without receiving any assistance.
      ** TELUS **** *** honor the advertised promotion by providing the ****** Watch * and ****** Buds as stated, I will be ****** * ****** ********* **** *** ****** ******** ****** ***** *** pursuing resolution through appropriate consumer protection channels.
      *** ***** *********** ******** ********** * ******** ****** ******** *** **** **** ****** If it weren’t for my company’s affiliation, I would have left them years ago due to ongoing service and support issues.

I had a very negative experience with Telus. They called me offering what sounded like a good deal, but they weren’t transparent about the details or what exactly the call was for. Before I knew it, I was forced into a contract I didn’t clearly agree to.
After the initial offer, the price ended up being much higher than what I could get from other providers. What they do is bait you with a low price, then lock you into an expensive contract with terms that were not clearly explained.
This kind of approach feels dishonest *** ************. I expected better from a company like Telus. ** ****** *********** ***** be very cautious and ask for everything in writing before agreeing to anything.
I do not recommend Telus based on this experience.

      * **** ******* **** *** ******* **** **** ********** ** **** ********* ********* ********* ************ ** ** ****** **** *** **** For over a year my business paid for a contractually agreed upon security service; In that year+ there was not a single period of even 7 days where the system was fully functional. They sent a tech out who tried the same fixes over and over and ended up filing in his report that the issue was "resolved". Well No, our security was still having cameras not recording or going offline completely, but because **** **** **** marked it as resolved I had to start all over. Telus was in violation of our contract from day one, and after a year I had had enough. After being gaslit and **** to by a couple different reps, i finally got to talk to a manager, who insisted WE pay a cancellation fee! *** *** ******* ******* *** They should have been writing a letter of apology complete with a partial refund for services not rendered! But no, instead I had to have a Different tech come try all the same fixes, before **** ***** ** a manager could process a cancelation. So I had the guy come out and surprise surprise, he couldn't fix it. But then this ********* ******* insists on yet another tech visit! He promised if they couldn't fix it he would cancel and waive the fee, *** * ***** **** *** **** ** **** ** ** *** * ****** *****. We ended up just uninstalling their garbage and going with another company, once I showed them the install slip and they knew they couldn't coerce me into continuing to pay for incomplete service, I got notified my request had been completed. We had *** which was bought out by TELUS. We never chose them, rather our account was simply transferred.I just called to cancel as we went with a local company for our new system as it became clear the call two weeks prior had, had no effect. During the first call, the woman absolutely WOULD NOT stop trying to sell me an upgrade...she just kept talking. * ****** ** ******* ** **** ********* **** ******** **** * *** ******* ** ******** ** *** **** ****** **** **** *** ****. ****** *** ***** ** ** ******* *** **** ******* "We want to cancel" to no avail. Finally hung up. Next guy tried the same tactics but at least he finally listened, and yet, even as he was processing the cancellation he was telling me about system upgrades for which I am eligible. Any company that does business that way will NEVER have my business. * **** *** *** ** *** ***** ** ****** ****** **** * **** ****** ********* ****** ***** ***** ***** ** *** **************

Always a terrible time dealing with Telus. I've been a customer for over 14 years and their customer service just continues to decline and get worse. ** *** ** **** **** ******** They only care about new customers not length of loyalty. The only way to reap any benefits is to leave for a few years and come back or complain ***** **** **** ** *** ***** There is no easy way to just ask for a better plan/device etc you have to complain to multiple people and get so frustrated. In fact just to get a rep on the phone I had to deal with the automated assistant who actually directed me to change the plan online by self and then when I requested a call back the 1st two attempts rang once and hung up ! *** **** * **** **** ******* *** ****** **** * *** **** ****** ****************** ******** ** *** ********* ** ****** ******

      Deceptive marketing practices
On March 1st 2024, a sales representative from Telus called me for a unique lifetime promotion for select clients. A lifetime promotion that will never expire, no contract attached to it. I asked the sales person many times to confirm that there will be no changes to this deal in the future, and he confirmed. Today, (a year later), and after I called to ask about a phone sale, they said that, by the way, all my credits will expire because they only last for 24 months. Big surprise, this is not the sales pitch I had nor the promise I was given. On my end, there is nothing on my online account or on my agreements that explicitly state that the promotion had a deadline or benefit limit to it.

Completely unsatisfactory experience porting my cell # to a new carrier. Tried to port with their online AI and had to have new carrier tech(Toronto) assist by conference call with Telus techs/contractors site in Malaysia to finally successfully port my #—with difficulty. Have had other very negative customer ‘service’ experiences with Telus both Mobility and Home Services and there is never any improvement.
