They call me every two weeks or so with another special offer. *** ****** *** **** ***** **** ******* ** ******** *** **** ***** I have asked these Telus Mobility sales reps to remove my name from their call list, but they never do. I just kindly asked another one of these sales reps to remove me from their call list, but he just made some comment and hung up. I highly doubt he’s going to remove my name. For decades I have thought that Telus was a reputable, Canadian business, but things have changed.

I’ve been trying to accomplish transfer of ownership since 02/1/2025 and assisting my elderly parent with updating her mobility account. I spent many hours for days speaking to multiple Mobility reps. All refusing to allow me to speak to a Supervisor., still nothing accomplished. Every Rep giving me different advice, leaving me on hold and transferring me for hours. I have given up!!!!

Their telemarketers won’t stop calling despite being on the national Do Not Call list as well as reaching out to the company directly.

Spoke to an Agent that was offering a great deal and included Mexico, we agreed to it. We then went to Mexico and got a big bill for roaming there. They would not admit, (though I have the information on text), that they are liable for the "mistake". Not impressive at all!!

On Aug. 6, 2024, I had contacted Telus as I had decided to go through them for my cell phones. The entire process was extremely overwhelming and discriminatory againt me as an ******** person. When processing payment for the "taxes" for the 4 phones for some reason my ********** didn't process one of the fees so I used my **** debit instead. I watched as the payment was processed through my bank account as I get an automatic notification. Shortly after the lady told me it didn't go through. When I had told her I watched it go throught she argued wtih me until I began to cry. I had eplained to her that I am ******** throughout the conversation, and when this happened I was so distraught because she kept telling me that it did not go through. I have sent a complaint to their complaints department and they never got back to me. After several phone calls and many tears I was able to finally get this rectified, but it was absolutely horrifiy to go through as the Telus rep. made me feel like an idiot. When it comes to the securtiy system, Telus bought out our previuos Alarm company and in Dec. 2024, there was a problem with the alarm. When I called to have it fixed they advised me I would need to upgrade and that they would have it installed for free and keep my monthly payments the same. Today, Jan. 17, 2025, I recieved my bill in the mail and they have charged me for the installation. When I contacted them they told me that althought it say right there on my file that the installation fee was to be waived, that a manager has to approve it first before I can get my refund which could take upto to 3 weeks for the whole thing to be processed. Had I agreed to them crediting my Telus account rather then the refund, it would have been fine in their eyes. This is complete nonesense. Telus has **** and taken money out of my account that they should not have. **** ****** ** an absolute nightmare to have to contend with and I am now stuck with them for 3 years. **** ************

I was quoted a $97/month (tax included) plan for a ***** *** XL on a "Bring-It-Back" deal. The rep waived the connection fee and assured me taxes would be on my next bill, not upfront.
Since my phone wasn’t working, I needed a replacement ASAP. The rep said I could pick it up in-store and promised to call back to finalize. No call came.
On my way home, I called Telus again and was told the phone had been shipped to an outdated address. I had to detour 30 minutes to the store. Once there, I was told I had to pay the taxes upfront—contradicting the original agreement.
I asked to talk to Loyalty, was put on hold, then disconnected. No callback. After waiting 30 minutes, I called AGAIN and finally got Jorge.
At first, he said my quoted plan "didn’t exist." Then he found how the rep set it up. He agreed to resend my order, and in doing so, we discovered my outdated address. He updated it.
Then came the connection fee nonsense. Jorge restored my deal but acted like waiving the connection fee was a "bonus." Instead, I’d have to pay upfront, then get a refund—even though I was already promised it was waived.
Three hours wasted. No phone. Four incompetent reps. 11 years as a customer, and this is what I get.
The next day, I got a loyalty text: $44/month for 100GB. When I clicked “claim offer,” it didn’t exist.
Then, on Monday, Telus emailed me about a new phone shipment—one I never ordered—sent to the old address I had just updated!
When I called, they told me it was my problem to contact ********* and refuse the package before they’d send the correct phone. If the new tenant keeps it? I’m on the hook.
This all happened even though I explicitly chose in-store pickup the first time I called. Telus didn’t just waste my time—they made my life harder.
I spent collectively 5.5 hours on the phone with them, fighting and all I got was a $70 credit, $73/ month contract, and not having to deal with the phone they sent to the wrong address.
      What ever.. still dissatisfied.

I am not a Telus customer, but they call me every single day trying to get me to switch to Telus, and as soon as I ask them to take me off the list, or say that they're harassing me, they hang up. I block the number every time but they keep using new numbers to call me.

I have been trying for two days to get a hold of someone to cancel my Telus and they hang up after being on hold for 3 hours and say they will do a call back and never do
This is absolutely ridiculous Telus has no care for their customers
They also want to charge me 500 to cancel when the place I’m moving to has cable and internet
That is why I am moving because it’s cheaper and can’t afford to pay all the extras

I moved to Koodo from TELUS mobility services in June 2024. I was told that the reconnection fee was going to be waived. Well it did not. I had closed TELUS account and so I had no idea the charges got into my TELUS account. Shortly after, Oct 2024, TELUS decided to send my account to collections. I asked what the charges were, Credit Services were **** and did not have the information. After multiple calls to TELUS, visits to the store (who said they can't help) finally I came across someone, who was able to tell me why I was charged this money. Then they said they will be able to reverse it. Well after 3 months, I got an email from ********* ( a different collection services) saying that I owe $75. ( it went from $55 reconnection fee to $75). I am on the call with TELUS now (Jan 6,2025) to find out what I can do to resolve this issue. After 40 minutes on the phone, they tell me I have to call the collection services to resolve.
      I don't know why TELUS makes the process so very difficult *** **** for their customers. *** * ********** *** *** ******** ** ******* ****** ***** ** ** ****** Horrible experience as a customer. * **** ***** *** I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH such an organization ever again.

Terrible customer service! 2-3 hour wait times to get a hold of a representative. Inconsistent information. In service branches only help when they can make a sale. They won’t help you with any account or maintenance related issues. The company has zero accountability for customer service!
Also the automated phone service is terrible, often connecting you to the wrong department causing even more delays!
      A complete overhaul of their call centre is required * ********** **** ***** *** ** ********* ** *** ********* ********
