I have been a CAA customer for 30 years. Today my minivan disabled in my driveway in front of my 2 car garage located behind my home. I have another car in the garage but the disabled vehicle is in the way and I cannot get my other car out.
      I need my van towed to the garage and out of the way of my other vehicle ** ***** **** * *** *** ** **** ** *** ****** ** ********* ** ** ******* ****** ***** **** ** ** * ****** ****.
Because the vehicle is at my home this has been rendered a non emergency. I called at 9am this morning and 12 hours later nothing.
I called tonight and asked to speak to a manager, I waited on hold for more than 20 min. The CSR came back to say they were unable to reach a manager and asked for my call back number. I have yet to receive a call back.
I was in touch with a towing company this afternoon who are contracted by CAA. They had trucks available and are in my area yet they had not received my request??? I cannot request them to take the call it has to be dispatched by CAA.
      **** ** *** ***** ** ********** ** *********** I need assistance now, today Wednesday January 17 not Friday January 19.

Well, I have been a member for about 30 years. Got a flat tire on the highway. Called CAA only to find out my vehicle ( ******** ******) mini cargo van is not covered. In speaking to the representative I learned that there are a number of vehicles not covered.
Had to spend $250.00 in towing charges.
Check the fine print before going with CAA to make sure your vehicle is covered before paying the yearly dues.

Based on my experience dealing with CAA I would never buy a car battery from them as it was not worth the money. The battery wouldn’t hold the charge. I would call numerous occasions and the service men would boost the car and test the battery with volt meter and say it was fine. However it was not and eventually I bought another battery from my favourite garage. They would not honour their warranty within the first 3 years.

Been a member for 15 years. Never used the service but was comfortable knowing we had it. Last month ** **** *** I got a flat tire on the highway. Called CAA at 4:34 PM. At 9:00 we finally called a private tow company and we were serviced within 30 mins. Four and a half hours we waited for CAA. ** *** **** ** *** **** *** ***** **** *** ** ** **** *** ********* ** ** ** *** ********* Pitch dark on the side of the highway--a bit frightening to say the least. After the ordeal ended I called CAA and told them that I wanted a free year and then I would carry on paying my yearly. They offered me $50. ***** * **** ***** ***** *** ***** *** ******* ******** ********** ********** ****** *******

I was there 2 weeks ago for passport photo. ** ********** ******* * **** ** ****** *********** ** ***** ** ******** **** ****** Clerk did not state photo was extra NOW. She already said I was there last week. Common courtesy would to have been informed of change.

I give one star for good reason. CAA doesn't honor their marketing claims. They said they will assist you if you have a biking accident (in addition to vehicles). First time I called, I had broken my wrist while riding and was coming out of the hospital. They put me on hold for 20min and then refused. Second time, i was stranded downtown with a warped tire and a flat. They said they could get to me in 50 min. OK I waited. In 50 min, they called and said a driver should be there in 1 hour 40 min. It was -8C outside. I didn't wait in that cold. You seem to spend more time promoting your CAA discounts than actually doing the one thing you should do well. You failed CAA.
