Hello BBB,
I placed an order for 3 toys items that is worth $127.55 in total in Northmen Collectibles online on 30th July 2022 and there has been no updates on the status of my order since then. I have sent multiple emails to the support email on their website and they only replied me once with an unreasonable explanation saying months of delay should be expected while I can already see the toys item being released in various stores in Toronto. I then requested a refund but again my email has been ignored.

To whom it may concern, I’m filing a complaint in regards to this business (NorthMen Collectibles or NMC Toys) because I have been very patient and understanding with them and I think the fact that I chose to wait so long was the wrong choice, but they told me because of covid it was taking longer than expected and I trusted in them to get my item to me as soon as possible. I am rejecting this response because:I pre-ordered my items from NMC toys, which is located downtown in my own city of Toronto, Ontario almost 3 years ago. They apparently have no idea whatsoever on the whereabouts of my items and still cannot give me any info. I emailed them about the situation and they claim the pandemic as well as the fact that there isn’t much staff besides the manager is the reason for the delay. They have never yet been able to give me a single update on the status of my items and have stopped responding to my emails. They have no phone number for the store and I have had to repeatedly reach out to them by email multiple times throughout the last 3 years to find out and get absolutely no information. Ordered some collectibles from this vendor with no issue until I had a preorder that I have been waiting for several months eta Nov/22 . Still hasn’t arrived tried to communicate the issue to this vendor even recommending purchasing an additional item with another item I had on hold . So I could at least get some of my order sooner then later and have the preorder come when it arrived and pay shipping. I in turn have paid for all these items with expedited shipping paid for to get theses items because I didn’t meet the shipping amount for free delivery. I placed a pre order on some items on September 15th 2021 and July 21st 2021. After the estimated time of arrival had gone by (April 2022) I reached out asking for an update numerous times before getting a very ****** answer of * * ****** ****** *** ******* ***** ** ** ******** I said ok I guess I'll keep waiting and made some more orders seeing how I've never had an issue before I didn't think one would start now. The next order was for $600 worth of product that should of already been sent out. I reached out with no luck other then automated replies. Left a review hoping to get a response that way, no such luck. If you have an issue to resolve you must resolve it directly with the retailer. I will not be reading this complaint nor giving it a second of my attention as the BBB is an organization that quite literally profits off of allowing consumers to ****** and ****** businesses while using private information for their own personal gain.
They can rate me whatever they'd like to while they continue to accomplish absolutely nothing as a glorified review service masquerading as an organization with anyone's interest but their own in mind.

I pre-ordered a figure for $68.91 on January 04, 2022, and it was supposed to be released by June 2022. It was, and all of the other stores received this item, but I gave them more time. By november, I gave up and contacted them to ask if I could cancel the pre-order since 4 months was too long to have not received yet. I then tried contacting them 4 more times. From what I can tell on the NMC Toys ******** and ******* page, **** *** ******** ** ******* ****** - nothing sent, and no answer. In June of 2022 I pre-ordered a set of items from this retailer with an estimated date of delivery in August of 2022. In September I messaged the retailed to change my address as I had moved. I received no reply to this email. In October I emailed to follow up on my address change and to get an update on the now late order. I received no reply to this email either. In November I followed up again and asked for a reply as I had not heard anything in months. At this point the items I had preordered from him were readily available at other retailers so I said that if he was unable to deliver my items I would like a refund so I could make my purchase elsewhere. He agreed to refund me minus his store policies 5% cancellation fee. Which imo was void due to the reason for cancellation was his ******** customer service and his inability to deliver. But ** ******* I accepted this 5% fee so I could get as much of my money back as possible. He said that my refund would come through in a “timely manner” and that if I would like to follow up sometime that would be fine. I waited two weeks with no refund and then followed up with and email every day for a week with again no replies. So as of now I have not received my items, nor my refund and the retailer will not respond to my emails for resolution.

Pre-ordered an item. I tried to contact them multiple times throughout the years from the release date (Aug 2020) to January 2023. They kept saying item was back ordered. Pre ordered collectibles for almost $300 in 2021. Recieved a few, the rest never came. Contacted owner, who never responded for months. Wife contacted owner as well, letting him know a dispute would be filed. Owner finally replied, was ********* **** and abrasive, blamed covid for his shortfalls. Denied anything was done wrong. Offered extra discount and a gift card. That was in late 2022, it is now 2023 and he is again not replying to emails. All I want is my order shipped to me. I have many, many more emails from Austin I can send images of if required to receive delivery of my items.Business Response
