I needed my high school certificate attested, So i created a account with WES, paid all the money did everything they asked to do. In order to provide documents i reached out to school board and they told me they have changed the process since Jan 13th 2023 and according to new process WES have to collect the documents from online portal for which i have provided WES all the details and i have talked to number of Supervisor (***** ***** *** *****) they all were rude and never helped just one thing all the time wait wait wait.. i have been waiting since 1.5 months and i have to provide this to my employer but No one in wes is listening to me.
Now when i call and ask for help they just refuse to take my call all the frontline agents are rude and when i asked for supervisor they disconnected my call number of times.

1. University I graduated from submitted the required Documents "transcript" as requested on May 08 2023. WES employees claimed they could not find the submitted Documents and I had to follow up until the documents were found on June 28 2023.
2. I submitted my Bachelore Certificate on April 18 2023 including official translation by a certified translator as requested on their page. WES claims they could not find the document. Then they said on the phone they found the required document and it looks perfectly fine I should submit a inquiry which I did on June 28 2023 and I still haven't heard back. I asked whether they have SLAs and a response time so this can be escalated and I got the information they don't have that. They asked me to resubmit the document and claim they could not find it.
Business's attempt to resolve the problem: No efforts whatsoever I have to reach out and get essentially no answers. Service employees can't even tell me what's wrong so I can potentially fix it.

I wanted to send my education assessment to the **** ****** ******* ** ******* (****) on May 03, 2023, for which I paid $48.59 and the report was delivered on May 05, 2023, but they delivered the wrong report in the Remarks it has Language of instruction as English and other regional languages. I contacted them as I got a notification from **** that we cannot accept this report as it doesn’t meet our requirements, WES replied to me saying that they would require a Medium of instruction certificate directly sent to them through my university (note that the education and transcripts all are in English) but I still asked my university to send it to them electronically - and then after receiving, they sent me an email on May 25’th 2023 that they’ve revised my report and will be sending it to the original recipients from 2018. I requested them to send it to **** as well since I requested a duplicate report to be sent to them but after calling them 50 times and contacting them they still did not fulfill my request and denied saying I will have to order a duplicate report again and I will have to pay again. After trying to explain to them for a month I lost hope that they will help me, I paid again so they can send a duplicate report again to **** on June 05, 2023, but when I got an email from **** (********** ********* they said sadly WES has delivered the same report again. I was shocked to see that and still, WES wouldn’t accept their mistake. This has been a super stressful and frustrating event of my life where I felt helpless and felt as if I wouldn’t be able to get my license. * ******** ********* *** ** ****** ** ** ****** *** ******* ** **** ******** ** ** ************ **** ****. Also, there’s no direct customer service to talk to higher authorities.

Absolute nightmare. I might loose my sponsorship because of terrible service and knowledge. The representatives have no clue what they are doing (expect for one or two). I called several times to make sure I had the right documents, and every time they would say yes. I am rejecting this response because: I have called many many times in these months and asked the agents to confirm which documents i needed. I even felt bad for the amount of calls I made. Last month I found out I needed more documents. Fine, no problem. My mom was able to go to my school, get them and send them to their office. Before doing this, I called again and asked one time if that was all i needed and i was told so.
I leave in Canada now but i am from Italy. So not so easy to ask my school to provide documents. Italy is not around the corner.Last week I get an email and guess what...I need more documents? One of them was provided in March it seemed it was fine, and now not anymore.
I lost my spot to get sponsored by the Company I work for. I know it says on my profile which documents are required, but why wait until the very last minute to tell me? I have talked to several agents and each one of them gave different answers.So yes, because of WES my chance to be sponsored is over. The Education Assessment was the only document I was waiting for.
If only WES was more honest and clear, this would have never happened. Once they got the money, they stopped caring.
I am asking for a refund, since it was quite a bit of money, for something I will never get and for the horrendous way I have been treated.

For my employment to get a different position, I was selected to get my academic credentials evaluated. I called WES asking what do they need and how it works. I was told from my home country which is Pakistan to get your mark sheet and diploma from intermediate board of education and your institution who awarded you this get this documents sealed and stamped or signed on the back flap. My mother in my country who is 70 years old did all this work which took give and take about 6 months since the process of getting diploma and mark sheet was long and after getting them attested and sealed. After my mother sent me this sealed envelop with documents. I called Wes again before paying their fees and sending them my original documents which were sealed and I was guided from customer service this is good enough as long as they are sealed from your institution where I studied. I sent my documents on 18th of April and Wes receive them on 21st of april and there was no acknowledgment until I called on 25th of April asking them about my documents and file. Wes after updated my profile saying my documents are not sealed or stamped by appropriate institution. It’s suppose to be sealed by board of education in my country. Their website states very clearly and I even called to confirm that my Institution sealed these documents and they are attested and verified by board of education and after my institution and it was all okay for them until now I’m stuck with their different information and all fees paid and my employer waiting on these document for me to provide them. Wes is telling me now we will see if we can work something out or you have to get these documents again from my country and sealed. This process takes 6 months to do. I loose my job and I make my 70 year old mother run for this. It’s not easy and mentally challenging for me and physically for my mother who is 70 in my country can not do this again. Their message and website says very clearly “Please ask the
institution that awarded your qualification” my documents were sealed and stamp in the envelope which was provided me by my institution who awarded me this diploma which is college of accountant and management science (CAMS). And these documents were given from board of education of Karachi to my institute. I don’t understand why they keep enforcing they want from board of education Karachi when my institution/college who awarded me was CAMS and the envelop and all documents were attested and sealed by my institution where I studied and was issued by them.this process of getting documents took me 6 months. I submitted an application to evaluate class 10, class 12, bachelor and masters degree evaluation. They did not evaluate class 10 and class 12 transcripts and marked my application as complete. Hi. I started my assessment process with WES on October 17, 2022, and on November 1st, I was notified that it was all completed and my report was sent to me, and until this day (January 9th, 2023) I didn't get them. I have waited for the 35 business days that I was asked for, and after that, I've been constantly sending emails and calling, and given the same response that my inquiry was forwarded to the appropriate department for review, but never got any updates on it. On Dec. 13, I was supposed to wait 2 business days for a response, but nothing happened. The same on Dec. 22, 30th, Jan. 4th, and 9th. Every single time I've contacted WES by call or email to know the timeline, and want to know what's issue is with my transcript, I could not get any clear explanation, the only information I have is letting me wait and they are working on it, or worse, that I should pay for a duplicate copy so I can have the documents, **** ***** ***** **** ********* ***** **** ****** **** ** *** ********* *** ***** ****. My nephew from the Philippines (******* ****) sent a parcel to World Education Services, inside was his transcript for Document evaluation. In our tracking record from courier *** the parcel has been received by “Tony”. I am helping my nephew with his application to come to Canada to work under a program to care for my child. I am his employer. I paid $250.00 fee for evaluation. My nephew sent an email in November to follow up the status of his documents. A customer service named William sent a response stating that the documents have been received and already reviewing by the evaluation team. As days go on he keeps checking his account for the status but it’s the same, still in progress. On December 28 I called WES to follow up and I was extremely surprised when the agent says they never received the documents! I don’t know exactly why she’s giving me that answer when in November it says they have received it and still reviewing and that no action is required. I asked her to check and see what happened with the documents, I mentioned we have a deadline to submit it to Cic Canada by January 1st. Told her to escalate it and take it in priority, I called again after 2 days and gave me the same answer. I have also paid for another $50 as a renewal fee. I am rejecting this response because:My nephew ******* **** communicated with *** *******. Tracking number ************ was used for the shipment of the documents from the province of Samar Philippines to Manila Philippines. Then from Manila Philippines to WES Ontario Canada the tracking number was **********.
You were saying you received that package with “transcript request form”only inside and that the school forgot to include the transcript documents. It is impossible and hard to believe that they forgot to include it, I don’t think that they’re that stupid not to include it. When my nephew took the sealed envelope from school the clerk assured him that the complete documents are inside and not to open it.
Also you sent an email on Nov 6 saying the documents are received and have been reviewed by your evaluation team. When I called to follow up on December you told me the documents weren’t received and the same time you change the status in your website from reviewing the documents to not received and now the current status is “processing a new package”!
The company confirmed it that you received the package on August 16, 2022. So why you never told us that the transcript isn’t inside the envelope? You waited till I followed up on December 2022 to tell me you didn’t receive it and now you’re claiming that there’s no transcript inside? How irresponsible? It’s ridiculous! You’ve caused so much trouble! This is not acceptable at all!
You have to give us a refund for all the fees that we paid including the shipping cost since you didn’t do anything with the documents, it was very clear that you lost it. I strongly disagree with all your claims. Please do not fool us. You have to understand that we were catching up a deadline and now everything was ruined. He just lost his chance of coming to Canada when we waited a long time for this. I hope this situation will never happen to you!

Back in November 2022 I started a process to get my credentials evaluated by WES in order to apply for an Immigration program in Canada. This is time sensitive as I have to upload my document in the government website on Jan 1, 2023. Because of that I paid a higher amount to have my packaged shipped as "overnight".
On Nov 25 I received an e-mail from WES stating that my evaluation was completed and that they would ship my paper copies as soon as they were able to. No tracking number provided.
Around Dec 7th or 8th I got in touch with WES through their website inquiring about my report as I haven't received anything at that point. A customer service rep then provided my tracking number.
I went to ****** **** and according to their website the package was delivered on Dec 1st and when I tried to open a ticket/claim, the system wouldn't allow me anymore - instead they mentioned that the sender should open a claim with them.
Since then, I have contacted WES multiple times, opened complaints, escalated my issue and the answer they got back to me is that I would have to pay an extra $35 + shipping to get a copy of the document that I haven't received in the first place. No one in my household signed for any documentation either.
WES does not want to take the responsibility for this and send me the report I paid for initially - ****** **** lost my document and unfortunately, as the receiver, I cannot start a claim with them.
This might impact my life immensely as I now might not have enough time to provide the required paperwork for Immigration Canada. I just spoke to another customer serv rep on the phone now and they said there is nothing that they can do. I'm going to re-pay for the document again but I'm really looking for reimbursement - it's not fair to me as a customer to pay twice for something I did not receive.Business Response

I requested for a course-by -course evaluation on my High school diploma in November 2022, for which I paid C$100.00+taxes. Note that 1 year ago (2021), I requested a course by course evaluation of my bachelor's degree and that was completed in Dec 2021 and I do not have an objection to the first evaluation done in 2021.
WES answered that they do not do Course-by-course evaluation on High school education, that the service is only applicable to post-secondary education. WES agents only did an assessment on the credential provided, but not a course-by course evaluation.
In my view, the service was not provided, however since they have already closed the evaluation, a refund would not be provided. I have learned, from WES phone agents, that the evaluation on the High School credentials are usually done for free, if you upload the documents, when you are requesting the post-secondary course-by course evaluations.
It is absurd, that the service is usually provided for free and I have to pay C$100, because I made a mistake of not knowing the fact that they do not do course-by -course evaluations of those credentials.Business Response
