    This is an incredibly unreliable company. They suddenly changed their payroll process, requiring customers to approve payroll several days before the end of the period, without letting us know. I don't know my employees' hours until they've actually clocked them. Since I waited until the day after the pay period to run payroll, I am unable to do so and my employees are stranded without pay. I spent a week trying to get support through email when they inexplicably stopped answering questions. So I sat through a THREE HOUR wait (it said it would be 40 minutes) to get help from a live chat. When I finally got helped, they told me to just run payroll and file taxes on my own, separate from Wave. This would certainly affect our end of year tax filing and W-2s with taxes being filed separately from the accounting system. Now I'm scrambling to switch to ***** to be able to run payroll, but can't migrate my information as now Wave's website inexplicably does not show any past payroll transactions, and the tax page is blank. I escalated the situation through live chat and was told a supervisor would contact me within 24 hours. They never did. What a nightmare. No way to run my payroll, no way to view past payrolls, no way to view taxes paid, and no way to speak to a human!

    * **** **** *************** ** ** **** **** *** ***** * ****** ***** ******* *** *** ** ******* ** ******** ******** *** ************* **** *********** ******* ***** ****** *** ***** **** I can look past the limitation of features and compatibility with ********** as well as their price hikes that, *** ***** ******* ***** ******** seem to be their norm. However, I can’t look past their horrendous customer service. It is impossible to speak to someone. They will only call YOU (you cannot call them) if they deem your chat conversation worthy of a call, though often it is difficult to explain the entirely of an issue via chat. In addition, they do not respond to emails you send, despite sending multiple and asking for updates regarding tax liabilities that were promised to be resolved and aren’t.
    I would highly recommend ********* customers to do their research before signing and know the strengths and limitations of this entire service/platform. ** ****** ******* *** ***** ****** ******** **** **** ****** ** *** **** **** ***** I am nearly 60 days into an open ticket with them and have had limited response and now no response. Super concerning.

    Ever since our company's payroll officer switched to Wave it has been a nightmare. The problems are numerous including last week the boss had to pay us in cash as he couldn't do payroll through the website. I also couldn't view any of my past pay stubs. ** **** ********** ********* ******** ******* ** ***** ******** ***** *************

    I have sent several emails and messages, no one is responding for weeks. There is no other way to contact them as they have hid anything outside their chat. I get their **** *********** chatbot who struggles to forward to someone. Then you have to wait 3 hours to talk to someone. I pay for payroll and need a response from a human who can solve this without wasting my time. The state has opened a case with my company because Wave is not managing payroll correctly. I have provided them evidence. There is also no way to terminate this company due to the lack of response. I will soon be blocking them from any payroll payments if there continues to be no response.

    Ive literally dealt with account being locked and stopped over aned over and over and over and over and i've only had them for 3 weeks. These guys reversed a payment our client made to us, we didn't find out about it for several days, and only found out when it was debited from our account, since we didn't know about the refund that they processed on there own and we only use that account for inbound payments, it bounced, and because it bounced they locked our account (understandable I guess, but maybe you should tell your clients this is even happening) then after having already required hours and hours of documentattion over and over they lock our account again and require exhaustive documentation for a refund they processed on their own and said nothing to us about. Now we're expected to deal with another ridiculously redundant requirment to keep our account open, forward all the documentation we already have forwarded twice before. **** ******** *** ***** ******** **** ** *******

    Horrible customer service, I am now I'm my third month for a ticket I submitted end of last year.
    Like other's have mentioned; no direct line, long chat wait times (my latest was 109 minutes), emails that don't get responded to, no etas given blanket responses only, etc.
    Absolutely horrible that I am stuck waiting for them to resolve my tax issue before I can cancel which means I continue to pay for their "services."

    I signed up for a Wave account and in the same hour cancelled after discovering it's not the right product for me. They charged me for the month and there's no option of getting a refund now. I'll need to dispute it via my credit card but this is just FYI for others.

    *** ******** ******* ** ********* ***** There is no real assistance available, and the chat support is ineffective—it logs you out just when you need help. There is no direct phone number to contact for support. Funds are often withheld without any explanation or reasoning, and accounts can be locked or shut down without notice or justification. This company’s practices are unacceptable and should be addressed immediately.

    My client asked me to design a website. He then asked me to transfer some of his money to his web strategist so he could pay them for the content assets I needed to finish his website because they only took certain forms of payment. Using Wave, this bank transfer was successful. Then I got a chargeback for the amount that I already paid out to the strategist. My client seemed legit, but now I believe he's committing chargeback fraud, with Wave's help. I never received any emails from Wave alerting me of chargebacks (like their website says they are supposed to do) and they tried tried to debit the money from my bank account. When it failed because of non-sufficient funds, Waveapp says I owe the money. After only a month, they are threatening to send me to collections AND threatening legal/******** *******. The amount is almost $3000. I sent documents to wave proving the amount was transferred but they responded by sending me invoices and threats, and a phone number of their collection agency (but no phone number for Wave). ** ****** ******** ***** ***** **** ******** ****

    Signed up and ran into an issue setting up my bank account. There's no way to speak to a real person, only an AI bot unless you upgrade your account to a paid account. I upgraded so I could get help only to find that I can't use the service and they refused to refund me. I only upgraded so I could get support because they keep it behind a paywall! *** **** **** *** ***** *** ****** **********
