      My truck was stolen by someone I trusted** ******** *******and used in a hit-and-run. Instead of supporting me in this *********** situation, TD **denied my claim** and blamed me. I was told, “You could have stopped it,” and, *********** ****** ** ** ******pay $250 and take him to small claims court.”

      ******** ******* * Current home insurance was set to expire on the 17th of the month . Called TD insurance to get a quote and set up a new policy which they set to be effective on the 20th of the month it wasn’t caught by the agent on the phone that there would be a 3 day gap and I obviously had no idea it would be a problem I’m not a insurance professional… once I realized my insurance had ended with the old company rarer than have a gap of 3 days with no insurance I called TD to have them just start it immediately and they said they weren’t going to insure me anymore because I had the old policy end with out the new policy start and when I explained to them that they had a recorded call of me saying my insurance ended on the 17th and they picked the 20th and the 3 day gap was their fault and all I’m trying to do close that gap and now you don’t want to help me they said tough luck not only will we not insure you no one will . **** * ***** ** **** **** ** * *******

      Our basement was damaged by a broken water pipe. That was in March 2024. It is now October 2024. Customer support is a myth when it comes to this company. Every phone call to understand the status of our claim is a two hour ordeal. Most of that time is spent holding the line. When a representative finally answers they are completely *******. The person who is suppose to take care of our claim doesn't seem to know what she's doing or care. ** ******** * ****** ***** **** ********  I prefer paying more money and actually get the service I'm paying for.

      I registered for tenant insurance, but was unable to receive my insurance binder afterwards. I was unable to register, the number to call an agent did not work. Another number that I tried sent me would not connect to an agent the majority of the time, the one time I did connect the call was dropped. Essentially, I was unable to see my policy, cancel or modify my policy, or talk to anybody about it, or get online, even though I bank with TD.
      Additionally, I found out their quote is way overpriced in comparison to other vendors.

      I have been with TD General Insurance for over 25 years. Unfortunately, my vehicle was damaged during the August 5th hail storm. TD has been unresponsive. They deemed my vehicle unrepairable after 8 weeks and towed my car at week 9. I have signed to total loss form and agreed to the payout amount.
      Now, I am left without a car and no payment. My adjuster is not responding my phone calls or emails.

      I've been with TD Meloche Monnex for 5 years across 2 provinces and it is absolutely awful.
      Every time I have moved (4 times), they have messed up my address and insurance, e.g. mailing to the old address, or mailing to new address but with incorrect address on the policy.
      Every time I call them to address this issue, I'm on hold for half an hour to an hour, sometimes more.
      When I moved provinces, they continued charging me for home insurance for almost 2 years, despite knowing I was in another province on THEIR policy.
      When I called to cancel my policy and clearly stated the move out date at which I no longer needed home insurance, they reassured me they'd cancel. 2 months after I move, they are still charging me, AGAIN!

      TD insurance for home, has terrible customer service. From day one, the adjuster, who, I may do was very difficult to understand, told us that she was unable to confirm our coverage.
      Also we had no choice as to which contractor we wanted, this totally contradicts their web site claims.
      Our dishwasher leaked , causing damage to our floor and subsequently, our kitchen counter.
      After 6 weeks, we were told we were not covered. As, in their estimators opinion, this had been happening for a long time( whatever LONG TIME means).
      According to our policy and their web site, water damage caused by an appliance is covered.
      We presently have enhanced home coverage and extended water damage coverage.
      TD insurance is not reliable, nor efficient in handling a claim. No return phone calls, cannot reach anyone, only automated voice messages.

      I'm really disappointed with my experience with TD Insurance. I bought my tickets to ***** through ***** Airways last January. On the way back, there was an 11-hour delay in ****, causing me to miss all my connections and incur additional costs for the hotel, food, and other expenses. Despite sending the required documents over ten times, after six months, I was informed that I'm not eligible for reimbursement because one of the connections wasn't paid with my TD Card. They could have informed me of this back in February when I first sent the documents, saving me from wasting my time. They requested numerous documents to support my claim, only to deny it in the end. Fortunately, I've closed all my TD accounts and will never use their products again. This has been the worst experience I've ever had.

      After being a cutomer, for over 10 years, and never missing a payment, they cancelled my home insurance policy without telling me, but continued to charge me for it monthly for over 10 months.
      During that time, they even increased my premium by almost 30%. I only discovered that my policy had been cancelled when I called to ask why I hadn't receIved a policy renewal package, before having my rate increased. "Oh, actually, your policy was declined by the underwriter - 10 months ago.
      I have spent the last month fighting with them just to stop charging me and return the other payments. They are STILL billing me every month.
      They are a disorganized mess, and their cutomer service is abymal. * ******* ** ***** **** ******** ****** ** **** * ***** ******* **** ***** ** **** ******** ****************

      TD home insurance is ********** **** will use gradual damage to escape from paying for any damages. They will send their contractor *********** to essentially dispute your claim. I have enhanced home insurance coverage with extended water damage. When I sent a claim due to heavy rainfall which was covered, they stated exclusions that I have never seen prior to purchasing the coverage.
