Dont use this company they are a scammers we hired them to fix the freezer part of our fridge. For $80 they were suppose to inspect the fridge and give as a quote to fix it. He claimed that he could fix but I would have to pay for the service, we agreed because he assured us, that the repair COULD be done. He did say that we will need a new compressor eventually. He spent a few more minutes and a told us to wait about 12hour and put the food back in. He dashed out and was gone in seconds, after we paid with interact. That should have been a huge red flag because we can't challenge it with the bank as you could with a credit card. I very quickly realized a problem but he was long gone. I called customer service and basically said, it's our word against his and when I said that I was going to report them she said "Go ahead". They ripped us off of $337.70 for nothing, the freezer is still broken.

Be aware please, because they might be scammers. It is not clear where their main office is, although they advertise their services in Kitchener-Waterloo area. They offer the same day service which is not true. They do not accept credit cards, only debit or cash. Their technician was late. He was supposed to come between 12p.m. and 3p.m. He came at 4:30 p.m. , not professional at all. Their "business" tactic is to charge $80 plus tax only for the visit. The technician was not able to diagnose a problem, which is unacceptable for certified technician. He offered further services at additional costs without any guarantee that our washing machine will be functional again.

Absolutely terrible service and I wish I scrolled down far enough in my google search to se reviews online sooner. They were supposed to repair my in-wall oven. $2700 later, I am still experiencing the same issue. I was too busy working myself to watch the technician, but he didn't switch the power off to "replace the motherboard", so it's not clear what he actually did. And he refused to stick around and test my oven afterwards but asked me to sign the paperwork that states he tested it and demonstrated that he solved the issue. I refused to sign, he was ok with that and reassured me I have 90 days to get my money back if his repair didn't fix the problem. It didn't. I tried getting my money back, and the customer service rep reassured me their accounting department will process the refund but to would take two days. After two weeks, I called to inquire about my refund and their accounting dept said they don't do refunds, despite what I was told by their technician and customer service. Her explanation? Their people "just say the things they think I want to hear at the time, but it doesn't make it true" and my refund request was denied.

On THE A TEAM APPLIANCE REPAIR website, they advertise that they fix ** coths washer and other product. However they are not certified **********s for **. Buyer beware....I had them over to fix my front loading washer's water pump. The ********** told me it was fixed, he demonstrated on a quick small load. He left, we put in a full load of laundry and it flooded our laundry room floor and destroyed the drywall on the ceiling in the basement. He mentioned nothing of a leak, nor was there a leak before he arrived to fixe the machine. We called to have the ********** return. They were going to send him in two days, but I argued for the next day. Another ********** came in and told us that the previous **********'s note stated that their was a small leak. Again, he said nothing to us about this. We stated that that was not the case. He showed us a tear in the gasket of the washer door. The tear was square in nature and the gasket was repaired 2023. Unless we were running a professional laundry their's no way that gasket could be tourn. We paid the original ********** $780 to repair the motor and they only accepted debit (that should have been another indicator). The second ********** wanted to fix the gasket for an additional charge. We said know, thank you. After several calls to see what could be done. We were not given an managers number and we were not allowed to escilate the complaint, the representative simply hung up on my wife. I recommend that know one use this company. They are not approachable, they are not registered with the BBB and they do not represent quality, accountable service.
