      Customer service is so terrible. I ordered a pair of boots online. They advertised free returns on the top of them page. It’s not free returns. They won’t even discuss anything with you. ******* ** ******** **** ******* ** ****  Now I’m out shipping costs unpaid to get to me and costs to return the boots. I wish I would have read the reviews here first before ordering

      I needed a pair of shoes for a trip I'm going on in a week. SoftMoc said they ship within 1-4 days, so I chose them over other retailers. Both my sister and I bought a pair of shoes. This morning I received an email saying the item would be delayed. They said, "... writing to inform you that we have encountered a short delay with processing your order. The items ordered are currently in transit to our store locations and this order will be filled as soon as possible." So, basically they're sending my shoes to he sold in a store instead of shipping them to me and now I have to wait for an undetermined amount of time to receive them. They took my money and told me to wait while they sell my shoes to someone else. When I complained and asked how long the delay would be, they gave me nonsense copy and paste responses about global distribution and wouldn't explain why they would send my shoes to be sold in their stores instead of shipping them to me. I kept trying to get answers and they kept sending me nonsensical responses with no clarification. When I got angry and fed up (and swore in my message), they cancelled my order without warning and told me I was being hostile and they wouldn't help me any further. They then ignored all my further attempts to contact them. Their customer service team is absolutely horrible. My sister asked on chat about what was going on and was basically told that she'd get the shoes eventually after they arrived in the store. Which is still completely unacceptable seeing as how we bought the shoes to receive them by the end of the week. They also told her, after she said that was stupid, that the shoes were completely sold out but they hadn't taken them off their website and sold them to us anyways. They told her she'd have to wait for them to restock. They don't care when we get our shoes as long as they have our money and it's absolutely ridiculous *** ******. The restock could take months. ** *** **** **** ** ****

      Terrible customer service! They put through the charges for my two orders twice! And they say it will take up to 10 days to refund it! The only answer I get is that the system is automated and there's nothing they can do! (Imagine an airplane pilot saying that when there's a problem during your flight ... ) I will never order from them again! It's hard to imagine a company saying that in this day and age! Unbelievable!!!

      It was such an horrible exp shopping with Softmoc. I was trying to purchase a pair for my mother who is over 75 yrs. I went to the store in Markville Mall on Saturday July 2. lot of customers but not enough staff. After a long wait, i was told that most of the shoes were out of sizes. I wasn't offer that they can order for me. After went home, i browse their sites and found more shoes and have sizes. I ordered 6 pairs of shoes. Planning to give her a few more to try and then return most of them to the stores. According to the return policy, i should be able to do so, as long as i did not wear them. When i placed the order online, it went through well. I confirmed the credit card checking to ensure no blocking on the card. I got email from softmoc saying transaction was completed and i checked the credit card, there was already a pending transaction. Everything looks fine. The shoes scheduled to deliver on Jul6. Jul5 late afternoon, i got email from softmoc, order got cancelled due to credit card declined. I called credit card company on jul6 morning, they said the transaction already went through. money already hold for softmoc. There was no block or anything to prevent the transaction. I then called softmoc, all i got from them was when they tried to charge the credit card, it was declined and order cancelled. And they can't re-order for me or do anything about it. They said just call your credit card company. and they said they did not charge me anything. I asked again, if there was already pre-auth fund, how could that be declined? And how do i make my purchase then in future I called my credit card company again just to confirm if there was anything i should have done. They said. softmoc send request, i auth, there was no block. Nothing else i could do. we have to wait for a few days, and file a dispute if the pending transaction do not go away. The cs line was useless, did not help at all. I;ll never purchase from here again! it was frustrated!

We do see you have previous orders successfully placed with us and again apologize for any inconvenience a declined error may have caused as we attempted to capture funds.
      Pre authorized holds typically drop within 1 to 5 business days, however this can vary pending on the financial institution/creditor and we have no control over this time frame.
