      Purchased a stackable washer/ dryer WITH a warranty but we havent been able to use the washer in over TWO months now! A technician has been out 4 times.. Currently they say they are waiting for parts. Teppermans warranty pamphlet clearly says Fast repairs and if we cant fix it well give you a new one. This whole situation is unacceptable including my laundry mat fees! Not a happy customer.

      I started a warranty claim in December of 2023 with no contact back for months. Teppermans went back and forth with the warranty company for months to point fingers at each other to fix the leg on my couch. I also requested the fabric be looked at as it is poor quality and pilling in excess which the floor model did not do upon viewing in the showroom. After 3 months of back and forth the technician came out and adjusted the leg that snapped. When discussing the pilling he told me use a razor on it. I politely declined and emailed teppermans in a review requesting further assessment of this one year old sofa and chairs. Never recieved a response back, typical. I am very disappointed with the product and service of this company. I would gladly give these couches back and hand deliver them for my money back, that is how disappointed I am this product and their service. Thankfully we got these items on sale because the original asking price was absurd for the quality. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. This is ridiculous.

We're sorry to hear you were displeased with the solutions offered for your sofa and your overall experience. In reviewing your records, we can see the issue with the leg on the sofa was repaired. We hope there have been no further issues with the legs or frame of the sofa since fixed.

      With regards to your concerns about fabric pilling, please understand, all fabrics will experience some level of pilling with use. Excess fibers will stretch and pull with friction and ball up. This is not considered a defect by any manufacture, and is something that happens with all fabrics to various degrees. Different fabrics experience pilling differently, with natural fibers tending to release from the surface, whereas stronger synthetic fibers or synthetic blends don't release as often. A fabric ******, as recommended by the tech who fixed the leg of your sofa, is the best solution for any pilling that occurs. Due to this, we will not be issuing a refund on the sofa purchased on 1/19/2023.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I bought extra warranty which includes fabric and it isnt to some extent it is in excess. Also, every time we sit on the couch there is a cracking sound since the issue with the leg was fixed. I have a toddler and soon to be newborn and if this couch injures them when cracking or breaking we will have way bigger things to deal with. You cant seem to think a reply like that is going to aid in someone to just snap their fingers and be pleased. Why do we buy extended warranty? This isnt the first time myself or someone we know has had issues with customer service and warranty and its absolutely shocking that you only reply to my message sent on BBB not my review of the service experience. I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the product  and the fact that youre sticking by the item. I am positive that you would not be pleased with this in your home, your mothers home, your family members home. Its a shame to know that Teppermans has been in business this long and the products are this kind of quality. I am not a new customer I have been buying products from ********************** for 10+ years as has my family and this is going to be unfortunate where it ends. No questions asked on your behalf you just say no refund. This issue has been ongoing since December 2023 which made the couch 10 months old. Take a look when service actually came. Its unacceptable. Why buy warranty? I have emails of teppermans and the warranty company pointing fingers at each other saying they have to fix it and nobody took accountability until I was very upset. Im not accepting this answer. This needs to be resolved.

      If you are continuing to experience an issue since the leg repair, please do not hesitate to contact Zucora directly at **************.  If it is something that they ultimately are unable to repair, they will have to address it by other means.  
      Regarding the pilling  however, as previously mentioned, it is not something that is able to be addressed by the extended warranty coverage.  We have attached a copy of the extended warranty plan that was purchased, which outlines what is and is not covered.

      purchased chair in Apr. 2024.Came on June 4th.Minutes later, my eyes watered, throat got sore and had headaches. Called on 4th, got Windsor and couldn't get through. Called Chatham on 5th, she said it was off gassing and would go away in couple hrs.Not true. She transferred me to Windsor customer service.After half our I hung up but did get through around 4pm. They said not their issue and I advised me to push up to a window[ i'm 80ish], cover it with baking soda, or they would send a cleaner and do it myself.Out of desperation I drove to ******* store and got same not our problem.But finally agreed to swap with floor model hoping it would be better. Delivered on 7th. Not the case more of same symptoms. Called Windsor Cust. Serv.[********, Mon 16thand Tues,18th. Each day with a promise of a call back next day. By Tues. I had enough and was sobbing and raising my voice.Later that day 18th a manager called. Same old not our policy, do as you were told and already had it swapped out. 1 asked if she was concerned that it was making me sick. Dead silence.Said we are done here, bye.They knew I was willing to honour the contract, just get the chair out of the house and let me swap it for something not toxic even something less expensive!

      May 26th We went in and purchased a bed frame, mattress, box spring and mattress protector. We signed the contract , I put 75 dollars down with a gift card I had and signed a payment plan. I thought all was good and we would pick up our items on Monday. Later that day, the sales woman called me and said that she messed up and did not charge me for the mattress, I said okay and would come in and look at it and sort it out at the store later . I got the call my items were ready for pickup. I went to pick up but they said I was still owing money. I signed a contract stating I would get all the items listed above. Both the sales woman and man at the financing desk looked over it at time of purchase and all was good. **** the finance manager was quite rude when we shared this was in the contract regardless of it being an error they had to abide by it as it was in a signed contract by both parties. She requested time to call her regional manager. They came back with offering to take 100 dollars off the mattress . They did not uphold their end of the agreement that was signed upon purchase. I then had to go back into the store to get my 75 dollars back and **** came to the front counter, did not greet us, did not acknowledge we were there and helped the man ring us through. We have purchased all of our furniture from them and have ****** many other customers their way. This was really upsetting that they did not hold their agreement and treated us so unfairly.

      the original contract was not upheld. We only cancelled as we were told they would not uphold the agreement in which the mattress was included.

      I feel like the order should have been honoured. We were told we had to accept or cancel by the finance manager so we cancelled and then went to file a complaint. 

      The finance manager **** was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I went in to get my 75 dollars back, she didnt even acknowledge look or say anything to us as customers when she was supported the man who was helping us.

      2024/5/2 - Went in person to Windsor location to place an order for a full set. 2024/5/5 - Upon review of the bill of sale, returned to Tepperman's after realizing there were missing items from the expected purchase. Had a bill of sale amended with additional furniture piece. Protracted original offered delivery date to ensure full delivery of order with verbal confirmation from the salesperson involved (*****************) would occur. Delivery date set for 2024/5/11 2024/5/11 - Delivery occurred as scheduled 2024/5/11 around 1135. Partial delivery with missing line item(line item * ************). Inquired with the delivery group if this was all in their possession. Verbal confirmation from the mover confirming "That's it!". During the delivery, a smaller service vehicle arrived to give a left behind box to the delivery group. Accepted order with intent to follow up and allowed them to deposit partial delivery in the garage. 4 hours after delivery in the garage, I checked the furniture measurements and realized the entrance was the same width as the furniture. 2024/5/12 - Contacted customer care about missing item and currently unable to bring delivered pieces in-house and they confirmed no further commitment from Tepperman's and the delivery was resolved/closed. I was not notified about any material shortages or missing items. Offered $100 credit for delivery to make up for the inconvenience. When I asked if there was a service Tepperman's could provide to have the couch brought into the house, they refused as the order was closed and delivery was accepted.       No engagement from Tepperman's has taken place in context to submittal of BBB complaint. BBB complaint was not read and desired settlements have been ignored and not considered in any response. Entirely casting aside BBB complaint by means of misleading complaint through confusing information not pertaining to complaint, no action or attempt at desired settlement outlined in complaint. 

      Images are reactionary at request of Tepperman's management, prior to complaint. Tepperman's is not providing path forward, refusing and dismissing any claim/concerns.

      Tepperman's Preferred Upholstery Protection Plan Purchased a new sectional & the Protection Plan on 11.09.21 (114187836).Trying to exercise warranty since 12.2024.From the Protection Plan: Teppermans is not responsible for any claims or service obligations provided under this Protection Plan, however, I am being told that the cause for delay is poor ************************** from Teppermans. The Competition Act (paragraph 74.01(1)(c)) refers to prohibitions against making a representation about the warranty or guarantee of a product if it is misleading or there is no reasonable prospect that it will be carried out. This includes any promise to replace, maintain, or repair a product or continue a service until it has achieved a specified result.To date, I have not been provided with any evidence that the Replacement Parts are available and that there is a reasonable prospect that the Warranty will be carried out. There is also no willingness to provide a full exchange of the Covered Product due to the unavailability of replacement parts.Desired settlement #1: Modify or discontinue advertised Protection Plan due to False or misleading representations - Promotional information should not claim the business is associated with, authorized by, or has a relationship with a third party unless it is true.- The term image advertising, sometimes called brand advertising, refers to any non-product advertising. The manufacturer is an international vendor and parts are being received from overseas.       We would like to register a complaint regarding a repair request for our ************************************************************************* the pictures. We're generally pleased with its design, comfort, color, and build, except for a burst zipper on one of the bottom cushions, likely due to a manufacturer's defect. We noticed this defect recently, though it could have occurred within the warranty period.A sofa cushion zipper should last more than 3-4 years, even under excessive use. Considering the cushion's design, it seems the manufacturer overstuffed them, putting undue stress on the zippers. We're now concerned about the durability of the remaining zippers, given that we've never experienced such issues with other brands.We were disappointed by the proposed $200 repair cost, involving a 6-8 week wait for a replacement cover that might not match the sofa due to color fadingan environmentally unfriendly solution adding unnecessary waste.After discussing with your customer service manager,, we understand **********************'s position is limited to manufacturer faults. However, due to this experience, we will no longer patronize or recommend Tepperman's. We prefer businesses that support their products and ensure customer satisfaction, especially regarding manufacturer defects.

      I purchased a sectional from Tepperman for $3000 plus I paid $500 for warranty!! The reason why I got the warranty I did was the lady that sold us the ********* said the frame of the couch has a warranty for life a lifetime warranty I put a complaint on February 2024. They came to my house, took pictures and then phoned me and said there was nothing they could do.!! The back has a wave in the farm so something is definitely wrong with the frame and in that part of the couch has collapsed and that has to do with the frame they called and said sorry they cant do nothing about it. Im very disappointed as I did purchase a warranty as well as I was told that the frame had a lifetime warranty. !! That came said it was my cushions and thats the reason why it collapses so we keep on switching cushions around, but its the same area of the sectional that keeps on collapsing If there is a lifetime warranty on Ashley ********* why are they not going through the manufacture? *** purchased many items from Teppers and I am very disappointed that I was sold the warranty plus was told there was a lifetime warranty on the frame itself and theres nothing they can do to help me.!! They phoned and said sorry we cant do nothing about it so why tell people that you have lifetime warranty on the frame and theres nothing they can do and then if I have to get it fixed, I have to pay for it. Thats not what warranty does. Im hoping you can help me with this.

      After reviewing your purchase order the original order placed did have the preferred protection plan on it. On 04/14/2021 an exchange was completed for the new sectional and the select protection plan was added. This plan does not cover framing issues with your product.       I am rejecting this response because:
      When I purchased this coach, the reason we didnt go with the one warranty is the sales lady told us that the frame was 100% guaranteed through the manufacturer I realize theres tear, but there is something definitely wrong with the frame which I feel is the responsibility of the manufacturer and the store. The sales lady should not have told us that we didnt need to go with the warranty. I did pay the 500 for a warranty, and was told I didnt need it for the frame ! I spent a lot of money at the store and I feel that were getting the runaround. They should meet us halfway and I should not be out of pocket for any frame damaged.

      We had a technician out to inspect the frame on 02/14 however the technician did advise that the cushions are softening, which is covered for the first year under the manufacturer warranty. There were no frame issues found after the courtesy inspection by the technician.  If you would like to proceed we will be able to look into assisting with the repair of the sectional at cost of parts and labour.

      Initial purchase of ******** on August 31, 2023.Account #******************************** Service File #********* Purchased couch and chair and was delivered on January 26, 2024. Noticed the next day both items were not the same as the floor model. Visited the store to confirm this. Wrong colour and trim ( piping) on the floor model is non existent on the what we received. After numerous attempts with customer care ( last email I received was on February 2, 2024 from them ) stating they would give an update by end of day tomorrow. We have not heard from anyone since. Ordered a product, paid in full and waited 5 months for something that is not even the same as what we ordered Very frustrated with the entire transaction and lack of response from Teppermans ************************* This shouldnt be an issue on my behalf, receiving a different item that what we ordered is non-arguementative. Teppermans, as stated in the previous email that I have sent, provide proper customer care and pick up this furniture with a full refund.

      I had the WORST experience when it came to the delivery service, On Saturday February 12th Teppermans had called and asked if the elevator was in service to which i said i didn't know it needed to be, so i called my building manager and asked them about it to which they said that they don't do that because my apartment only has one elevator, When Teppermans had got here they explained that they could not deliver my stuff because of the fact that the elevator was not in service, the delivery driver also mentioned the Teppermans was supposed to call or message me making sure that i had the elevator in service to which they didn't. As i was trying to talk to the manager and the delivery driver about the situation, the delivery driver was backing away to back out of the conversation and move on, after the delivery driver had left i had called customer service and they had said that the most i can do is rent a U-Haul truck and pick it up from the Teppermans building. After the delivery driver had started backing away i was crying hysterically at the fact that i was not getting my stuff, i had ordered a couch, a coffee table, and a bed for my son. Now i have to rent a U-Haul truck and see if people can help me out, meanwhile my son now has to sleep on the floor because of the fact they couldn't just bring up the bed for him, He had his room already prepared for the bed and set up so he took his original one down, now he is sleeping on a mattress on the floor until we can grab my items. I will NEVER, be buying from them again.
