      May 12, 2022, a lady named ******* came knocking on door. She said she is from ********, and as ******** customer, I can receive a free carbon monoxide detector, if I provide my information for confirmation. During conversation, she made me sign a document to complete the paperwork, said the CO detector would be delivered the next day.
      After she left, I became uneasy about it. My English is not good, and she did not give me copy of the paperwork, this made me worried. I called her next morning, told her I changed my mind and don’t need the CO detector anymore, would like to cancel any contract I might have agreed to knowingly or unknowingly. She assured me there was no contract to begin with and I don’t need to worry. Since no CO detector was delivered after that, I thought this was over.
      But an unusually high July ******** bill got my attention, that I found some shocking charges from an ****** ****** **** ******* ***., for items I had no clue of ($29.99 carbon, $19.99 heat plan and $19.99 cooling plan). I checked June bill, they also charged. I realized I had been scammed and it might have something to do with the salesperson Savanna.
      I called ****** ****** **** ******* ***. on July 29¸ 2022, phone agent told me someone would call me back, but no call came. After that I made three tries to contact them with no avail. Then I sent email and got a reply¸ now stating charges not from them, they are charging me on somebody else’s behalf!
      And this somebody else is MorConnect Inc., who emailed me on August 12, 2022, and turned out the document ******* made me sign is not paperwork for ********, but a 60 months contract of $4191.00 with MorConnect!
      This is a complete scam! During the whole interaction, ******* made me believe she is from ********, and I would get a free CO detector from ********. Even when I called her the next day, she lied that there was no contract. What she and MorConnect are doing is scam and I request assistance from BBB to help resolve the matter

      On July 20, 2022, a man showed up on my door and he presented himself as a Morconnect employee, saying that I may have been overcharged on my hydro bill and made me sign forms for a one time rebate of $25 and called the company Morconnect for me to confirm my information. The man said that my hydro charges from my bill would be reduced from around $65 to $33.84 monthly. I signed the contract but later I found out that It was a scam and I am bound to an agreement for 60 months and also on 5th August 2022, $34.84 got deducted from my account. when I realized that, I called the Morconnect employee and provided all the info, and they said that I'll get a call back from them within 3-5 business days. Please help me to cancel this agreement. Thank you.

      A lady came to our house last April 29, 2022 claiming she's connected with ********. She said there's an overcharging happened in ******** and we can get a rebate starting from June or July. She even offered a free installation of nest protect doorbell and smoke detector all for free. I even clarified to her if there will be no monthly fee. She said no. But now our ******** bill increases by more than 100$ from July & August. I didn't even know i signed up to their contract. Please help us cancel the agreement. That's clearly misrepresentation.

      On May 19, 2022 two representatives with work ID from my gas company showed up at my door. They stated that they are doing a door to door visit and qualifying customers are eligible for a free ring device upon completion of a survey. I was asked to show my gas bill and the lady immediately said that I am being overcharged for my gas price. They took down the information on my bill, filled out a rebate form and asked me to sign it so that the refund can be issued to my account. I was also told I would receive a paper copy of the documents signed in the mail and a soft copy on my email which I never did. The following month when my bill came from my gas company, I noticed I was being charged for a additional charge on my account from **** ******* ******. I called my gas company (********) to ask why I was being charged for something I never signed up for. Following a dispute, **** ******* ****** told me that I have an agreement with MorConnect. I signed a contract that was not what I was told it was and I do not have any copies of the agreement either. I have made many calls to MorConnect but can't get a hold of anyone. I don't know how to proceed and I feel extremely sick to the stomach. Please help me cancel this agreement. This is completely unacceptable.

      1 morConnect rep came to my home on Aug 2nd, 2022 showing valid work ID and explained that they're working with my gas company (********) to give customers rebates on their gas bill. They explained that ******** had charged us a much higher rate for carbon So the rebate will be a monthly credit on my bill of $25 until the overcharge is repaid. They went through the paperwork and had me sign. Someone from MorConnect called me and the rep asked me to say yes to all questions. Please, please help me cancel this program. I feel that they trapped me into a scam with 5 years contract and I want to stop it right away. I asked him for the terms I signed and he said you will receive an email shortly. I have not received any email.They have my ******** account number on the forms. Thank you in advance for your assistance and I hope to hear from someone soon to help me with resolving this case and cancelling this fraud.

      Today, July 26, 2022, a man showed up on my door and he presented himself as a Morconnect employee, an ******** partner, saying that I may have been overcharged on my ******** gas bill and made me sign forms for a rebate for $25 and called the company Morconnect for me to confirm my information. The man said that my ‘Charges for Natural Gas’ from my ******** bill would be reduced from $42.93 to $33.84 monthly. I signed the contract but later I found out that It was a scam and I am bond to an agreement for 60 months. After we realized that, my husband called the Morconnect employee and the man gave him the copies of the agreement, then we saw that the contratc says that we have to pay $33.84 during 60 months to Morconnect and this amount will be charge on my ******** bill. That was not what the employee told us when I signed the documents. We asked the employee to cancel the contract and he said that we need to call the company to cancel the contract because he had already sent the documents to them. Please help me to cancel this agreement. Thank you.

      At 2 pm, Trainee number 181, representing morconnect came at my door, and offered a $25 rebate as well as credit of last 4 months enbridge bill. They wrote down details on a white form which had a yellow form on background, as well as one another form. They wanted me put a 60 months contract of $33.84. Then that guy called the morconnect. Then CSR from morconnect called me, when I started asking questions, they hung up. I am not sure whether the full contract was signed, because I didn't sign any paper, or consented to any contract. I had more questions. After that the trainee ran like a bullet train.
      I am not sure if they opened up my account or saved my contract details.

      On friday july 22 near 12 pm the morconnect employees came to my appartment there was one boy and girl and asking everyone about the hydro bills in the building, he came to me he stated they are connected with the ******* ***** and ******* ***** sent them to check if you are paying more in your bill there is a credit and he ask me to show my bill . I showed him the bill he said you are paying more delivery expenses so there is $25 carbon rebate from us that will apply on your account as the credit and it will decrease your bill every month, i said ok and i was i between of my work so i do not got much time to think what he is saying about and he said for that i need to fill some form with your info. He took my all information name , address, phone number and asked for bank information also , he said you will get credit only in the bank , then i got the work call in between he called someone over the phone and provided all my information and he said she will call you back and you just need to say yes that you all information is right and i also left from here as they will ask you for security matter . I was busy in my work i said ok she called in on my number he told me to to say yes what she will ask i told her yes all my information is correct and i understand about this rebate that he told me. After that he said you will receive everything in email about this rebate confirmation and i asked him where you located and he was in hurry he tried to leave from there just saying its in misssisauga and he left fast from there. When i checked on maps its nothing . I went to check down he may be left the building from back door. My concern is anyhow he took my sign on those papers by saying it is form of hydro , i do not want anything under my name. He gave me a number and said his name is Ahmed i tried but he is not taking any call. It was complete fraud. i donot know it was form or any kind of bullshit contract so whatever it was i want to cancel everything now.
