10/19/2023 I live off ********************** in western Etowah County. Our garbage hasnt been picked up in two weeks! The County changed our garbage service to Arrow earlier this year and the bill for services doubled. However the service is isnt worth what we are paying. We have called and left messages multiple times with no response. Garbage pickup is supposed to be Thursdays. They didnt show last Thursday and the didnt show today. Every customer deserves a credit on their bill.Business Response

Weeks missed of services not rendered. Won't prorate for services missed. Then after being late for this week's pick up they strewn my trash all over. This business is a joke with ridiculous pricing. And we are stuck paying because it's the only option in our area. When ask to prorate my bill they claim to have no calls recorded about the service.Business Response

After investigating **************** complaint we have reached out to both the driver and local manager and made them aware of his concerns. He has also been credited for one month's service and this will be reflected on his next bill.

I called and got service and paid for it. The lady said I was paid up until January I have still yet to get a trash can which she said would be provided or the date in which they pick up my trash or an email statement of any kind I have called them and get no answer or a machine in which I have ask for return call. All I'm wanting is for them to provide me with the service they have charged me for. I need my trash picked up but first I need a can and would like a receipt of my payment which I have bank statements. Thank you.Business Response

To Arrow Disposal :I am a home owner that lives at **** *********** , ****** ** ***** I have been told be customer ********************** That ********************** will not service me ? I do not understand the statement !I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they already Know , and they said Arrow does not service that street ? Again I am puzzled?Our street lies in 2 citys (Oxford/*********** ) . The house directly next to me .will be serviced By Arrow BUT Im told 60 feet more Arrow will not provide A service ? Again Im puzzled .I was trying to set up a ****************** account to be paid be me and was told no we dont service your street but literally 8 other houses on BobWhite street will be serviced.Your truck will have to pass my house to service these other houses . Arrow Disposal Service has the contract to provide garbage service to the **************, **.
The City of Oxford provided a list of all active customers eligible for cart delivery in the City of Oxford and **************** was not listed as a customer.
The City of Oxford has a "311" service that handles all garbage issues and they explained that ******************** problem stems from an "Annexing" issue within the city. They are all aware of the annexing issue that surrounds Bobwhite St. at the "311" office and mentioned that they would explain it to him if he calls them *************)
In an effort to help resolve the issue, an account has been set up as a "Calhoun County" resident using the information he provided in this complaint he will need to call
************* and ask for *****************************) and provide payment information.

Continuously having issues with ADSI picking up our trash on a weekly basis. Once again, we are in week 2 of no trash pickup. Our can is overflowing. We call to report it and they always say a manager will be in touch, but they never do contact us. This is a real problem especially with the high temps we are having. We are stuck with this business because they have the contact. Something has to be done about this.Business Response

Yes I paid for the 2023 year in advance on 12/28/2022, now it is august and they sent me a bill for *****, tried to call put on hold for 40 minutes no one answered, to find out why I was being bill when paid for the year in advance, website is a mess clicked on link to sign into my account and it takes me right back to were I was.Business Response

After investigating ******************** complaint, it was determined that the additional charges he received were due to an annual *** adjustment which occurred after he had made payment for the whole year. It has been explained that the *** adjustment is allowed on the anniversary date of the contract start date and doesn't necessarily run the Calander year. His account is current and in good standing. Since switching over to Arrow Disposal, our trash pickup day is on Tuesday. We hadnt had a problem until 2 weeks ago they didnt pick up. I called on that Wednesday and the lady told me it would be that afternoon. No pickup was done . My husband called back on Thursday and someone else told him that we would have to wait until the next week . They did pick last Tuesday now here we are in another week and its Wednesday at 8:15 pm and no pick up. I called today and the lady told me that were just running behind and it would be picked up today . If my garbage is not picked up this week, I will expect a credit for TWO weeks !!! This is ridiculous !!! If you are expected to pay for a service, then you should get that service !!! If this business can not keep up then they need to find someone that can .Business Response

Arrow Disposal Service is not picking up my trash. At first they would miss it one time every three months and then they would miss picking it up once per month and now it has got so bad they only pick it up maybe one time during the entire month. I have called to ask them to come and pick it up and they will not even return my call.Business Response

We have a contract with Arrow disposal and our trash pickup day is Friday.The trash is never picked up on the schedules day. It is now late Tuesday night and the trash still has not been picked up. I paid them for a service they are not providing. We can never get anyone on the phone when we call and they have quit responding to our ******** messages. We were forced to use ADSI as our new Garbage Collector for Etowah County, at a higher rate I might add. This company has rarely picked up on the scheduled day of pickup. They have missed several pickups all together. I had contemplated terminating my account with them, but decided to give them another shot. 2 weeks in a row, garbage has not been picked up. Cannot reach anyone on the phone (866 number). Have emailed 3x. Rec'd 1 response that they put a work order in to have the forgotten pick up, picked up. That was Tues, here it is Fri (the scheduled pick up day) and still no garbage has been picked up. The crows and ants have gotten into the garbage as it sits on the side of the road. This is the worst garbage service I have ever dealt with. No communication with it's customers.Business Response

Sorry for the delay but after investigating we found the complaint to be valid. We had a new driver on the route and unfortunately he missed this resident.
