I moved to the Highland Home area 2 years ago. The only provider for trash collection services is ADSI. I purchase 2 cans for weekly trash collection on Mondays.During the time that I have had the contract, ADSI hardly ever picks up on Monday. The majority of the weeks they do not pick up until very late in the week but expect full payment.Today was the first day that they have picked up on a Monday in months. To note, I have started a local petition to get their contract termed with the County as well as spoken with my county Commissioner multiple times. Many other residents are advising that they too are having issues. Well today they picked up the trash bags but left empty detergent bottles, cardboard and boxes in my can and in my in laws can that live right next door to **** want the money that I and my inlaws have paid to be partially reimbursed for horrible service the past two years.I have also emailed the *** of the company in the past with no response whatsoever.Business Response

************** is correct in that she did receive poor service. We did experience some labor issues which resulted in late service, which she pointed out by saying that we came later in the week. We have addressed the issue with local and regional management concerning not collecting "All the trash"
We apologize for the trouble ************** has experienced and she will be given credit for both her carts for one full quarter.
A credit of $113.49.
We will strive to do better.

We are required by our county to use Arrow disposal as our trash service. Our schedule day is Friday and our trash has not been picked up.When we call they will say they will be out the next day but never show. Autauga county is no help so I am here requesting your help with this. We pay for this service but they wont provide it. The last time I had an issue the only way I was able to get them to respond to our community trash not being picked up was by emailing the BBB. Everyone on our road pays for this service and it is not provided. I just want the service I paid for provided. I have reached out by phone, email and social media. I'm have been paying for trash services and they miss my trash and won't pick it up at least 1 time a month. When they do pick it up they throw the can in ditch or in across the street in the ditch. Customer ********************** does not help with correcting the issues . There's no other trash company that services the area and we are all stuck with this company and there's nothing we can do. My husband and I are both disabled. We have to depend on others (neighbors) to take our trash can to the road for pick up, as it is very difficult for us. Our doctor filed a paper with ADSI requesting back door pick up. It was approved by ADSI and they have it on record. However, EVERY SINGLE WEEK they pass right by us . They do manage to pick up our neighbor's trash. This has been ongoing about two months. I call every day to let them know. They'll tell me "they'll pick it up tomorrow. I've been told several times that the trucks are down, or the driver has been fired for laying out of work, and always that they will notify the supervisor. Our county (Etowah County, *******), is different than where the calls go to (*********, *******). It is now going on two weeks since they've picked up our trash. This is the worst service we've ever had with trash service, and it cost us $30 more per quarter than our previous service. This is the only garbage service in our area, so we don't have a choice. I am really tired of our garbage piling up and tired of getting the run around.Business Response

After looking into ******************* complaint, we owe her an apology. She was missed due to driver error on the part of ADSI. The local manager has been notified and the driver has been instructed to provide "Back Door" service at this address in the future. She has also been issued a full credit and will not receive a bill until April ****. We will strive to do better and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

i paid for service on nov 9 and am still waiting for it i was told 7 to 10 days id get a can delivered i called after the ten days and was told they didnt have any cans and they just found out tha day they said im on the list to recieve one but couldnt tell me when...why wasnt i told this they had to know they didnt have any cans ..if not they need better management they have my money i want the serviceBusiness Response

On Wednesday November 15th I came home and noticed my trash can was missing. Thinking that when the trash pickup took place they may have damaged the can and would replace it right away. On Monday November 20th I called because I still did not have a trash can. I spoke with someone that stated they did not know why my can had been removed but it could take 7 to 10 days to get it back. I explained that was inexcusable with thanksgiving coming and that I already had 4 bags of trash sitting in my garage and I needed my trash can that was paid for brought back right away. She stated she would contact the supervisor and let him know. On Monday November 27th I called again as I still have not received my can and this time I was told they did not have any trash cans and would try to find me something until they got some in. As of today November 29th I still do not have a can yet my bill is paid in full. No one has communicated with me and I now have 10 bags of trash piled in my garage.Business Response

Would like to start first by saying this originated from Me forgetting to pay my bill. BUT the issue is that they picked up our garbage can understandably. And we immediately paid our past *************** in full along with late fees and a 50 dollar re-delivery fee.tl Then was told it would be 7 to 10 business days to get the can back out to us even tho the garbage truck still runs this route weekly and was running the route the following day. all this at the holidays when the most trash is compiled. Also and I will ask her to file her own complaint but my sister's can was picked up the same day and her bill was.up to date .she called and even though it was arrow disposal mistake they still told her 7 to 10 days to get her can back. also they will constantly miss weekly trash pick up and state the equipment was down or they are short handed and there will be zero adjustment to the billBusiness Response

Company takes money but don't deliver or pick up I called and got new service set up and paid 3 months of service. That was 4 weeks ago and I still have no garbage can and no pick up. Have called several times, emailed 2 times. Have been told that manager would call but nothing!!! Still no can, no call. I have 4 weeks worth of trash, money paid for service, and no service being given and by reading reviews, this company is apparently ripping others off too. .Business Response

Upon investigation into this complaint it was determined that ************************ account was set up 10/06 and her cart was not delivered until this morning.
The local manager was with the delivery driver when the cart was delivered, and her garbage picked up. We apologize for any inconvenience and she will be given 2 months credit for her troubles. We will strive to do better in the future.

I have been paying for garbage services and my garbage has not been being picked up per the scheduled dates. When its not picked up and a call is made to the company to complain about it they say they will get it picked up later that day and it never is, its always the next week or more. I am very frustrated because there is no other garbage service that I can use in the area. Something needs to be done. They expect their money on time, so in return we should have our trash picked up on time.Business Response

************ was correct in that we were experiencing collection problems due to labor issues. We have worked to correct the problem and have made local management aware of **************** concerns. A manager was sent by his residence the day we received the BBB complaint to collect any garbage curbside and found none. We have attempted to attach pictures. Additionally, ************ will receive 1 month's credit on his next statement.

I pay for my trash disposal *************************** is paid up to date. Last service date of pick up on 10/16/23 I came home again to find my emptied can partially out on the highway but this time minus the lid completely which makes the can virtually useless to put large amounts of trash into as animals roaming around would be able to get into trash tear apart make a total mess around can & area. I immediately called in complaint &asked for someone to ret my call no one did. I called again next day &asked to speak to supervisor & a lady on the phone who stated that she was a supervisor. I spoke with her &she said that the boss over the route drivers had the note on his desk & that they would bring me a new can with lid the next day which was10/18/23. I got in that afternoon no can delivered. Also, when I had talked to lady on 10/17/23 I told her that NUMEROUS times the guys that worked my route would either throw my can down into the ditch beside the road or leave my can sideways on its side or sometimes upright stuck out into the highway where it would sometimes be hit by traffic as this is a two lane &sometimes made it impossible for passing cars to avoid. This is unacceptable. I am 70 years old and it is unsafe for me to have to go down into a ditch to have to wrestle the heavy trash can back out &up to where it belongs. This is a service that I pay for &NOT to be done this way. My trash is scheduled for pickups every Monday. This is ************ still have NOT received the new replacement can WITH A PROPER LID. I have lots of trash that needs to be disposed of & a can WITH NO LID so I don't feel that with roaming animals that I can safely place my trash out. I need my new can with lid delivered as promised. I even called again on 10/19/23 &spoke to another lady in the office who WOULD NOT get a supervisor on the phone for ******** told me she didn't know what date I would receive the new can with lid & was completely RUDE.
