Very disappointed at the customer service and communication at this bank. My account was charged ridiculous service fees until it was drained and they closed it without any notice to me. I received a notice more than a month after this all happened so when I called, the manager, *****, said there was nothing he could do to correct the situation. While I lost under $100, it is the point - a customer should be notified when fees are starting and draining their account and they should be called before their account is closed. I was called multiple times when the balance was high but not one call or mailing when that changed. They just freely drained my account.

i cannot access my checking account again. Had the same problem last week and thought corrected as i could access it last Friday. now i cannot, It is imperative I have access to my account, for various reasons. One being my account was charged with a check in the wrong amount, listed with another check number and amount. I've been told by the depositing bank this has been corrected, but to avail...therefore I cannot reconcile my account either. I'm a former bank CEO/*** and am appalled at ******** telling me today i need to wait ***** hours for them to correct this situation. He diligently worked for approximately one hour to no avail.Of course i have not read terms, but have to agree to continue.

We used Regions/EnerBank to finance a small home radon project, which had a good promotional period and seemed like a decent option. We expected that once the promo period ended, we'd owe the accrued interest and start paying interest on the remaining balancetotally normal. What isn't normal is how Regions hides critical loan info. When payments began, we couldnt see how much interest had accrued or what our full balance was. The online portal only shows the principal balance, which doesnt decrease until all accrued interest is paid off. This keeps borrowers in the dark and makes it harder to track progress.Even worse, if you pay more than the minimum online, they automatically apply it to the next months payment rather than toward your principal. So paying extra doesnt help you pay off the loan fasterit just delays your due date and allows more interest to accumulate. The only way to make extra payments that actually reduce your balance is through your ***** **** pay system, where you can send payments directly.Ive never seen such a lack of transparency with any other lender. I'm sharing this so others know how to manage their loan with Regions/EnerBank if they want to pay it off early.

Tried to turn in $115 in change. They took it, told me when it would be in my account, and days after that it'd still not there and regions customer service says they dont have any access and cannot manage anything a small branch does. Its up to me to get the branch to investigate itself for theft so im homeless and can't afford diapers for my toddler. This is the worst bank that exists. Rude as h*** and they have no access to help you with ANYTHING that doesn't show up right in the app.

The absolute worst bank. The fees and penalties never stop. Yet, they have had 5 days to accept a deposit so I can clear my account and close it and have yet to process it. I have had more charges than I have had use of this account. I switched banks forever ago but have been unable to close the account as it apparently has to be done in person. Single mom of two, full time job. Cant afford to close it or keep it! I have been with them for years and their policies get worse each year. Go anywhere else! Literally, anywhere.

Regions Home Improvement Financing (EnerBank USA) is now using a dialer system that will call you everyday. Even if you talk with them or have payments set up the auto dialer will still call you everyday!!! This is illegal!!!!

I`m writing with great disappointment, a formal complaint against Regions bank after exhausting all my attempts to resolve it at local branch. Regions bank has put my small business checking account ending in 2984 on hold due to some compliance requirements which they refuse to tell me. They are holding my $13,886 as of 04/11, they`ve put my account on hold from first week of January 2025 and even after 90 days they still wont give access to my money. Best part is Regions is applying their monthly charges, analysis charges, etc. and accepting other payments too but ONLY withdrawals are kept on hold. I dont consider this account on hold, but they are holding me hostage instead! I`m a small business owner with limited funds and $13, 886 is a huge amount for me, with no access to my funds my business is on the verge of collapse, and I will not sustain anymore. I`ve requested to close my Regions bank account. After speaking with **** on 04/10, I learnt they need another 90 days to give my money back. I dont understand what kind of investigation takes 180 days. This is just not acceptable, I`ve somehow tried to keep my business afloat for 90 days without my money I can`t wait for another 90 days! Now they want another 90 days and it has been six months now. No money access since over six months.

I have been Regions customer since 2002. I had late payment fees of ****** $ for my Mastercard electronic payment in March 2025 after my payment was not sent in timely manner. I have done all my payments from Regions bank in the last 20 years using electronic payments, always in time. After this late payment I first time learned that Regions is using FiServ to make these payments. The reason for this late payment seemed to be that FiServ sent a check (!!!! who in the world sends checks of 9K $ via snail mail these days, especially knowing how **** can be???) and it simply arrived a couple of days late. After multiple telephone calls with Regions, their associates found out that they no longer cannot connect their customers with FiServ on phone when I am still online. They then suggested to try by myself ... not even having any customer relationship with FiServ as my bank was Regions. No luck so far. Finally, Regions reimbursed me 50$ for the late fees and asked me to contact FiServ for the remaining ***** $ of the late fees. No luck so far. I think it is not fiduciary of a bank to assume their customers are paying for the failure of their services
