      My husband just came back from the *** in *******, ********* saying that he left his hand basket of *** merchandise on the counter for the employee to put back since the employee claimed there were no bags to put purchases in. He offered cloth bags to my husband for $2 each. Husband refused and says he will no shop there again. He said the cashier said there were no bags due to 'environmental concerns' yet *** sells books made of trees! Cloth bags still need to be maintained and are probably purchased from some sweat shop in *****. There is no sign stating you must bring your own bag or box. You just get surprised with that information at checkout. Bad business!

      i bought 8 books last month in person and they did not provide me with any bags ;they wanted me to buy bags to put the bags in; there is no policy written in the store and online for us to beware to bring our own bags or we need to purchase them ;what do i do since i was put in this embarrassing spot do i try to haul them and mess my back or do i have other customers to help me take them to my car or do i leave them there ? no unfortunately i paid for multiple bags ;PLEASE ADVERTISE AND **** US AHEAD OF TIME THAT YOU HAVE THIS POLICY ;THIS HAPPENED IN A STORE IN **************

      They sell things they don't have and expect you to wait half a year before you give up. Worst online retailer I have ever attempted to buy from. Will never buy from them again!

      I preordered this book before its release date. The release date was 11/7. So why on earth did the merchant not release the order to ship until 11/10? I still dont have the book. What is the point of pre order if you dont get it on time. Never will I order from them again.

      Worst online shopping experience I've literally ever had. I tried twice 1 day to order the black light baby clown funko pop and because of glitches I wasn't able to purchase it. 2 days later I try again and this time 4 different attemoat buythe same item and I keep getting "your cart is empty even though I literally just added it to the cart. So attempting tp buy it 6 times in total ,we'll I just am not going to buy it. Or anything from this website ever.

      Was there once and was amazed with the book of interest of which can take a person to the limits of self knowledge if you applied it... I'll be there again once I get the funds to buy unless there is a way to borrow or rent by paying full price and able to return it in good condition for a refund...BAM could be the smartest move for your brain...

      During the pandemic, I became a fan of Books-A-Million. I order a lot of books and came to recognize BAM as the industry leader in how the books were securely packaged, preventing damage in shipping. My only previous problems were with the inept **************************** I have yet to receive a satisfactory response from the **** My real problem with *** is the recent use of ***************** and other shipping partners. *** used to ship **** and the books would arrive in, usually three days, then they stopped using *** and went straight to ***** This change added about a day to the shipping time. With the incorporation of shipping partners (*****************), the shipping time has blown up to ***** days. This is unacceptable. And as pleased as I have been with BAM, I will not be renewing my membership in the ***************** due to this drastic increase in the shipping time. They have lost me as a customer. BAM management needs to know that shipping partners are costing them business. A basic ***** I learned early in my business career is that it is easier and cheaper to keep a customer than to go out and find another one.

      Contacted them because when I place my order, it said the book was in stock magically now its back ordered. They cant give me a guesstimate of when theyre gonna send me the product and their customer service is completely rude disrespectful and insulting my intelligence Ive never ordered for this company before, but I really wanted this book in this cover and chose to take a chance on them. Big mistake. Their company is such a scam.

      I ordered online before looking at these reviews and after reading them I became worried my order wouldnt come. Fortunately it did and in my experience the customer service representative replied to my question quickly and the book arrived in great condition after a little less than a week. I still am unsure if Id order from them again because there are so many negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience so people know those negative reviews are not representative of every single order they ship.

      Worse experience ever with returns!!!!! My return was received by their warehouse on Monday june 12th and still to this day(June 16th) I still havent received my refund yet. I contacted customer service multiple times in regards to this and they keep telling me the same thing over and over again that my return hasnt been received yet. Clearly if you would look at the tracking of the shipping label you guys sent me, it shows items were returned Monday June 12th!!!!! But no for some weird reason they refuse to believe that and are refusing to issue me a return, such a horrid company to do business with, please stay away! Not to mention some customer service reps they connected me to are such despicable and rude human beings, only had one good experience with a customer service rep out of about 5 I spoke to. It just make sense to me why they cant issue a refund when clearly my items were returned, such a ridiculous excuse. Very shady company.
