I originally met with ***** ** and ************* at the property to review the property and measure the windows on October 6, 2023. I paid a deposit to proceed with the purchase and install of windows on a property in **********, **. The deposit was placed electronically via Hearth on October 9, 2023. Via email on November 9, 2023, I was advised by *************** that it may not be until February 2024 for the windows to arrive and they would install immediately. They could not provide an exact date at the time of deposit.In January, I attempted to contact ***** ** and *************** multiple times via phone call, text, and email. Their lack of response prompted me to investigate the company via web search. That is when I realized that they had been allegedly scamming other individuals. Around January 26, 2024, I finally spoke to ***** and was provided an unsatisfactory explanation about the situation. I also emailed **** Wh to advise that I would not be proceeding and requested a refund of my deposit. I have not received a reply to the logical and sensible request for the refund. My email last email correspondence to **** took place on Jan 31, 2024 and I have not heard anything since.Initial Complaint

I purchased 7 windows from them, 1 of them was the wrong size. 6 got installed in mid October. I have been trying to reach the company to find out about the remaining window and I continuously get blown off. I'll find out and get back to you and they never do. This is ridiculous.Initial Complaint

A representative came out twice about replacing windows and my husband and I prepaid for these. We were told we would receive a call in 10 to 12 weeks and to date we haven't received anything. Ordered window August 31 2023, paying 50 % up front, ********. Work and installation was promised in 10 to 14 weeks. Left email and message, now mailbox is full. No one returned my call or email. It is now Jan. 17th ****. Sick of companies like this that don't complete there work. Met them at a home show in *************. They are in *************. I had a representative of Legend Windows come to my home in march of 2023. We ordered 8 windows through them and gave over a 2k deposit. We were told the wait time was ***** weeks. We are now 10 MONTHS in and still no windows. When I was able to contact them and ask for a refund, they were rude and said I would get my windows. Business is no longer answering phone and I am not sure what to do at this point.Initial Complaint

Paid ******* on Feb 27, 2023 includes card processing fee Paid ******* on Jul ******* include card processing fee I have had many issues with Legend Windows. Communication after the windows was ut in is horrible and completly stoped. I've had chaulking issues,****** on carpet, hole (small) in wall.Some of these was fixed somewhat.I also called and emailed about a window latch being lose and s**** stripped and then I followed that up with mater bedroom windows having small amount of condisation and again about the lose latch. On March 29, 2023 I paid a deposit of 50 percent of the quote to Legend Windows for the procurement and installation to replace several windows at my house. The representative said the windows would arrive within ***** weeks. As of today, December 29, 2023, the windows have not arrived. My wife and I have tried to contact Legend Windows several times and we have not heard back from Legend Windows since around August. They do not respond to calls or emails. And there is no one at their brick and mortar location. At this point we just want a refund of our deposit.Initial Complaint

On 8/31/23 I paid a deposit to have the windows replaced in my house. I was told by the salesman that the job would be done around thanksgiving. A week after thanksgiving I had not heard from the salesman or the window installers so I called the salesman. He told me that the window factory must be backed up and that the job should be completed by Christmas. It is after Christmas and I still havent heard from anyone. I tried calling the salesman and the window store on 12/26/23 and was forwarded to voicemail for the salesman. The stores phone is apparently not working.
