      Purchased Insurance for trip to **** for $831.51. Hurt a knee 5 days into a 30 day trip. Purchased plane tickets to return home for surgery. Filed a claim with Trawick who sent it to SureGo on Nov 4th 2024 which then was updated on Nov 21st 2024. Been calling company because I have no claims adjuster to keep me updated. The ladies on the phone from SureGo have been so kind and I can hear in their voice concern for me. They sent my account to a supervisor and still no call or email. I need to return to **** and need travel Insurance and want to use Trawick but how can I when there is a open claim. My claim was very low compared to my insurance coverage and this can be resolved with just a few phone calls. If only a adjuster would call me and tell me my claim status was being reviewed.

      I got insurance for a SCUBA trip the trip in November 2024 the was canceled du to two hurricanes. Trawick has dragged their feet for 6 months. I feel they are a scam. They take you money and don't pay claims. TRSR51646

      I advise against purchasing travel insurance from Trawick International due to their questionable business practices. They collect premiums but decline claims. I have purchased their insurance multiple times. Fortunately, I never had to file a claim until my last trip. ********* cancelled my originally booked flight just a day before I had to fly back home from *******, and I incurred an additional $3100 to purchase a different flight just to get back home. I filed a claim with Trawick, but after 8 months of processing my claim, it was declined.

      Worst travel insurance experience I've ever had. Filed a claim BEFORE my trip in November 2024 due to the need to change flights. (Cruise disembarkation was going to be delayed due to a recent hurricane, so flight home had to be pushed back. Pretty straightforward, right?) But the claim was not processed until April 2025. I called half a dozen times and was given the run around, a lot of excuses about too many claims to process (due to the aforementioned hurricane!) etc. Finally asked to speak with a supervisor mid-March and was told a supervisor would call me back the next day. Nothing. Called again the following week and again requested a supervisor. This time I was told it would take ***** hours for a call back. Again, nothing. Another week later and I made a THIRD request for a supervisor. I cannot recall the last time I encountered a business so inept that I had to escalate a complaint to a supervisor at all, let alone request said escalation THREE TIMES. And all this over a very simple, straightforward claim no medical reimbursements, no major accidents, just one simple flight change. Never did get a response from a supervisor, but in early April my claim was finally processed - and denied. Why? The delay had to be at least TWELVE HOURS for insurance to kick in. Doesn't matter that we were obviously going to miss our flight as the cruise ship wouldn't arrive on time. But we would only have missed our flight by about 2 hours, not 12, so we got nothing. I am disgusted. Five months to process a simple claim, only to be denied for not long enough of a delay. A missed flight is a missed flight! I am never using Surego or their parent company Trawick ever again, and I warn others to reconsider any involvement with them.

      SCAM SCAM! You can only buy insurance. its been over a year I made claims for my parents. they have not responded or keeps asking for the same documents again and again. On top of it had the audacity to cancel the claim as we did not provide even after providing all the documents.

      I had to cancel trip due to a new medical problem. I provided medical documentation. Trawick responded that it was a pre-existing condition. I provided further medical records showing it was not. I filed the claim in November 2024 and it took 4 months to get a final response which was "declined" but they provided no medical information to refute what I submitted, Also poor customer service. I had to call weekly to see where things were at. On one call I was told that my email submissions were still in the inbox and had not been passed on to the claims reviewer. I had a terrible experience with Trawick and do not recommend.

      Made a claim in Nov 2024 for missed flight hotel stay. 4 people. Started calling Jan 2025 to get status of claim. Almost 6 month later, 7 calls, constant assurances of escalation and still NOTHING!Suggest you look elsewhere for travel insurance. I have already for our next trip. If they won't settle small claims, trust they won't settle big ones!

      ****************************** ever. I submitted my claim on 1/30/25. I was told ***** days, then ***** days, and as of today it's been 84 days. For the last three phone calls (weekly), I am being told the ticket is being escalated, yet nobody ever emails or calls me. It's a straight forward claim. I lost my job in January, checked the appropriate "Loss of Job/Laid off" button on the claim, and submitted all proof of purchasing the airline ticket and of cancelling it. A claims reviewer was supposedly assigned on 4/3/25, but has not made any contact. This is THE WORST TRAVEL INSURANCE COMPANY EVER!!! My own escalation will be to now make this known to every person I know, on every available social media platform, and then to go after them through small claims court if they don't resolve my ticket.

      Do not use this company to purchase travel insurance. It has been almost a year since our trip and I have not been refunded for my husbands doctor visit bill. Its a complete scam. They are so slow to respond and keep sending me the same email asking for more documents which I have already provided.

      Original Experience (Over a year and still unresolved)Ive been trying for more than a year to get my claim processed by Trawick International. The company initially claimed they reached out to my healthcare provider three times for medical records and received no responseso they closed the case. However, my provider confirmed they never received any such request.I appealed the decision and was instructed to send the records myself. I worked with the provider, and they faxed the documents directly to Trawick. I was told to follow up after 30 business days, then 60, then again and againeach time with no clear update. Eventually, Trawick confirmed they had received the records, but still denied and closed the case, citing a delay in receiving them (despite the fact that I acted as soon as they requested them).This has been an exhausting and unfair experience. I have seen numerous similar complaints online and even mentions of a potential class action lawsuit.I have followed every instruction provided and submitted all required documentation within the timelines I was given, but Trawick did not review it fairly.Trawick's practices appear to be designed to frustrate and delay rather than resolve legitimate claims. Consumers deserve better.
