I gave them a check for $745 to move me. I was told by a guy named **** ******** that the price was good for a year, but if you did not use them the deposit would be refunded after the 1 year. Well they are not reachable by phone or email. I have been trying to reach them by any means, email and when I call no one ever answers the phone but a message comes on saying to leave your name and number someone will call you back. They never do. This bad business and down right not how customers should be treated. I am 67 and live on a fixed ********* NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are scammers so I am out $745 deposit. A complaint would be able to be filed against this company, I tried but the BBB said I should just write a review. That is not going to get my money back.

Good evening, Ive been reaching out since Friday 7/5/2024 early morning to cancel my services do to the sub contract that was sent out to move my items. Id like to have a full refund due to service not being rendered for several reasons. First and foremost I was told that my belongings would be placed in ****** when Im moving back to **********, made no sense at all. Then I was told that I would have a 26 ft truck to be lied to. Then I was told that the movers were people that were laborers from **********, random strangers isnt good business at all. Most importantly, I was never told that I was only renting a certain amount of space on the truck. Theres more, please give me a call as soon as possible. Not to mention that I wasnt told you all would be closed for the holiday. This is the initial email that I sent and have yet to receive a return phone call or email or refund. This company is most definitely a scam and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

We contacted Coast to Coast and were giving the impresion they were the movers. we paid them just over $6,000 with an estimated almost $14,000 for the move. On moving day a whole different company showed for the move. they charged $7,000 just to load the truck and them $8,500 for a destination charge. so in short DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We fell scammed and robbed of money. The company that moved us did NOT listen to us when told something was not to go on the truck and stuff that was to go on the truck never made it. We had to go back and rent a U-Haul and move the rest of our stuff at a cost of almost $1,000. so that said our whole move cost over $21,000. if you had an issue with this company please file a complaint with DOT.

Please do not use this company. . I am being respectful by the Please. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. we only received 3/4 of our belongings... some items we received was damaged. They upped our price by $5,000... the day before the move. Even though we were originally quoted $10,000 for a full trailer. We originally had a trailer with a hatch... completely full. We received a trailer 3/4 full with another order on it... with no hatch to it. I have tried to contact anyone that I can. Even corporate... with no follow through from them. They want recipes and itemized items that are missing... but it is extremely hard when you have lived in a place for over 10 years. They didn't take big items.. just boxes. My mother in laws *****.. most is missing. I went to bake single pies. My ceramic pie pans.. gone. My garage shelves... half of the peices to it are gone. My husband went to work on his car. His impact guns missing. The list goes on. No-one returns calls emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY USE VETERANS... DO NOT USE THEM

Two weeks ago I received a quote from Coast to Coast Relocations, **** to move two storage units from ******, ** to ******, **. The Quote was ~$10k. I gave them a $2,900 deposit that day. The Coast to Coast people I worked with seemed very thorough and we spent a lot of time on the phone talking about the process. We were very excited to get our things that have been stored for a year. The next step was that someone would call me today (3 to 4 days before the pick-up of our things) to confirm everything. Today I got a call and was advised that I needed to pay ~$6k MORE because the cubic foot calculations they originally estimated was supposedly wrong. Here we are at the 11th hour and I am told if I go with the original Quote, they will not deliver all of our belongings AND, by the way, if I cancelled now, they will keep the $3k deposit I gave them two weeks ago. This is borderline Criminal!I cancelled the move on the phone this morning. Now I need to get my deposit back.

Do NOT use this company. The sales people are very good - don't be sucked in. This is not a moving company - it is an outsourcing company. They outsource the pack, the pick-up and the delivery with different companies - probably the lowest bidders. And then each of these subcontracted companies come to your house and demand more money. When I tried calling *** at Coast to Coast Movers - crickets every time we have an issue. They were late - arriving to start the packing at 5pm!! They were there until after midnight and my 75 yr. old mother was exhausted. The packers loaded a truck, had to get a bigger truck and then PUT THE ***** IN STORAGE for ANOTHER company to pick up and take to new house. This was NOT what I discussed with ***. *** said there would be a professional pack, truck loaded and would arrive THE NEXT DAY to the new location. The actual packers (they drove in from ** - we were in VA) then asked when we'd like to receive delivery and asked my mom for another $15,000!!! If I could rate them a negative, I would. *** has yet to call me back 3 months later after countless calls.

August 18, 2023 Horrible Experience with Coast-to-Coast Relocation movers (CtC) by a Senior couple in their 70s. From ************, ** to *********. Communication was effectively non-existent. We were never sure when a mover was going to show up even though we were very concerned about being out of our house before the new owners took possession. All we were told, in a very rude way, was we would get a call 24 hours before the truck would show up. At the last minute we were notified by CtC that Hello Moving would be our mover. When we voiced our concern to CtoC about a different company, who had horrible reviews and a D- BBB score, moving us, CtoC rudely told us that they were just middlemen and did not actually move people. (Their web site shows a Coast to Coast moving van and did not say anything about just being a middleman that we paid thousands of dollars for.) It was too late to do anything about this obvious Bait and Switch by Coast-to-Coast ************** for Hello Moving, everything we read about how bad they were on the BBB and reviews turned out to be true. Communication was effectively non-existent. When we were finally told the truck would arrive on Saturday and then did not show up my wife called and left two messages politely asking for status. She also emailed Hello Moving two times politely asking for status and a delivery date. No one was returning her requests for information. She finally received a call on Monday morning from a woman representing Hello Moving who immediately yelled at my wife for trying to call the driver who had, initially, given my wife his phone number. She was very hostile and would not let my wife speak. It was very unnerving and inappropriate to be treated in this manner by a company we had spent thousands of dollars with. As for how Hello Moving cared for our belongings, almost everything that was stacked onto the original truck ended up at our new home destination upside down, smashed, broken, missing, & more.

Coast to coast recolations out of ******* scammed me out of ***** dollars. they kept changing the price of the estimate to move me from ******* to ******** and then when they sent the truck, the driver told me it would be for thousand more dollars for the move and I said no and fired them ****** the woman at the moving company who does the moving for coast to coast three locations laughed at me and told me I would never get a dime from them after I fired them, they were totally unprofessional and kept trying to get more money out of me. I never got an apology or anything from them. When I told him I was going to file a complaint and take them to court. She just laughed at me and again said youll never get a dime out of **. Ive read bad reviews on them, and I am not the first or last innocent person. They are going to do this to please dont anyone ever hire this company coast to coast relocations they are scam artist

Wish I had never heard of Coast 2 Coast Had small amount of stuff in a storage locker to move from ******** to ***. Pick up tried to claim it was 450 cubic feet. I knew that was not true. They finally relented and agreed to payment per contract to continue. Then claimed that original deposit was not paid by my bank. Bank has confirmed multiple times it was paid. When I ask for more to go on, they just ignore requests. Still have not delivered anything. Given other reviews on here I am not optimistic. Stay away from this bunch of clowns. They are rip off artists.
