      I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Coleman. From the initial meeting with my sales rep to unloading at my destination, the entire process was smooth and as stress-free as a move could possibly be. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. I can highly recommend Coleman.

      Every step of the packing was meticulous. Communication with management and the lead driver was excellent. Both the move from ** and the delivery to ** were perfect! Despite bad weather along the route where over 3 days *** made several deliveries in different states, he met a local mover in ** to transfer the load to a smaller truck in order to navigate our driveway. And he arrived here promptly at 9:30 a.m., as was his estimate 3 days earlier! Great Move!

      Great service from my movers. Coleman personnel worked with me in picking up our household goods from two locations and was delivered to the destination within 3 days. It was snowing and wet at the delivery time but the movers were very cognizant in protecting the carpet and avoiding stains or damage to them. Household goods were moved in 5 to 6 hours and the driver/movers met our request in placing the items at the appropriate spots.

      By far the worst move of my 25-year military career.1 star, because the computer won't let me give less; ***** characters is not enough to describe the amount of damage, negligence, and lack of accountability.At my previous duty station, I supervised my HHGs being carefully packed and loaded onto the truck. At *******************, they were put into storage. Once we had a house, they were transferred from storage to the home.As the crates were opened (my HHGs were thrown into crates at some point), I saw the expensive Amish Home Gallery solid wood furniture was neither padded nor secured. It was free-standing and banging into other furniture and the crate walls. ******* had rubbed against other things, causing bare spots and tears. There were multiple smashed and broken items. As my stuff was moved into the house, it was dumped in piles. Significant damage was caused to the home itself as metal was dragged across hardwood, holes were punched in walls, and sinks were chipped. Boxes were not unpacked, trash was not removed. The Team lead stated that we had too much stuff.I contacted the ******************* Transportation section and had a representative sent out to witness the situation. She brought a COVAN representative with her. Both acknowledged the care, concern, and handling of my HHGs was unacceptable.I filed a claim of over $18,500 worth of damage. Due to the high amount, the claim was disputed. The biggest reason was "pre-existing damage". NONE of the claimed damage was pre-existing. Some of the items damaged were brand new (crib was brand new at the previous duty station, where our first child was born, yet "pre-existing damage" was cited). The furniture was well taken-care of, and in like new condition.This company was grossly negligent in the handling of my (the customer) property. Due to the amount of damage caused, they refused accountability and to provide adequate (even realistic) compensation. I will never allow this company to touch my property again.

      Having moved 9 times this has been the worst experience yet. ***********************, assigned coordinator for the move was not aware of some problems, did not provide info in a timely manner, very unhelpful when the moving crew did not put my furniture back together. In addition the packing I paid for was terrible with many broken and missing items and I still 2 weeks later have not received an insurance claim form. I have been left with unusable important furniture items. Their subcontractor ***** was also rude and denied any culpability for the packing and delivery.If they do not respond this week I will be forced to hire a lawyer to sue ****** tried to speak to the general manager on several occasions and he would not *************. Totally ignored my dilemma.****************

      My family and I used Coleman Allied Moving for our move from ********* to ********. They were so wonderful every step of the way. From the in-person estimate, fair pricing, free used moving boxes, prep boxing, and loading/unloading. We highly recommend using Coleman Allied Moving for any moving needs.

      Overall my experience was good in large part to my customer service **** ******* One of my boxes was wet and the contents of books and clothes was moldy because of the two weeks in a box, and could not be salvaged.

      Coleman mismanaged the ***** side of my unaccompanied baggage shipment. They can't seem to get 300 lbs of property **** miles in under two weeks. There site on military moves says "Online Shipment Tracking for Long-Distance Moves". There is no tracking other than calling/emailing everyday and getting a new excuse.If this is their standard of business, DOD should cancel all contracts with them.

When a shipment is relocating from overseas, there are a variety of factors that can impact the transit timelines that would not impact a shipment moving domestically within the US.
