My experience with Precision Air & Plumbing, **** has been very concerning, and I feel it's important to share my feedback, especially as a fellow small business owner. The charges for the work performed seem excessive and require careful review. We called Precision due to a prior installation, hoping for warranty assistance, but found ourselves facing significant repair costs. While I understand that AC repairs can be costly, the pricing, specifically the $2,844.14 for the "3 Phase Disconnect" and the separate $683.78 charge for a Vision Pro 8000 thermostat, seems far beyond reasonable. Given that we were in a position where we urgently needed our AC repaired, it felt as though we were left with no negotiating power. I believe Precision Air & Plumbing needs to improve its pricing transparency and ensure that its customers, particularly small businesses, are treated fairly.

Hello, Mr. ****** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand your concerns and sincerely appreciate your perspective as a fellow small business owner. Wed like to take this opportunity to clarify the services provided and the associated charges. Our first ********** we sent out responded to your service call regarding a non-functioning AC unit. Upon arrival, they found that you had removed and dismantled the original thermostat. After performing a thorough diagnostic, the ********** identified a burnt fuse and a failed 3-phase disconnect as the cause of your system failure. These components were critical to restoring operation to your unit. A quote was provided for these repairs, and you approved the work prior to completion by signing the estimate.During the follow-up visit the next day, the second ********** we sent out safely shut down power to the unit, removed the damaged circuit breaker box, and installed a new disconnect with 45-amp fuses. However, once the system was powered back on, the ********** attempted to reinstall your original thermostat you had removed and dismantled, but determined it no longer functioned properly due to internal damage. This thermostat had not been removed or damaged by our teamit was already non-operational. At that point, a new thermostat was quoted, approved, and installed, successfully restoring your system to proper working condition. We understand that repair costs can be a concern, especially during urgent situations. While we understand the desire to compare individual component pricing found online, our pricing reflects more than just the partsit includes professional diagnostics, labor, licensing, insurance, warranties, and the ability to respond quickly when HVAC issues arise. Our pricing model ensures fairness and consistency. We believe we provided transparent communication, timely service, and fair solutions throughout this process. We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied after the fact, but based on the facts of the service call, we remain confident that the pricing and work performed were appropriate and clearly disclosed.

I am now on my 4th attempt to get an AC Tune-up service, after waiting on 3 separate occasions ALL day to get person to show up as scheduled. Most times not even getting a courtesy call to advise of delays and/or request to schedule for a later time. I had to initiate contact and find out why nobody showed and reschedule. When I finally did get a technician to finally show up (after 5 pm for a morning appointment) the technician spent all of his time taking pictures to support his recommendations to perform work above and beyond a standard tune-up So my expected cost for a tune-up $159 x 2 units increased to over $1000. When I finally agreed to schedule and pre-pay for this additional work, it was now too late to perform the work. After scheduling another date for services to be performed, a technician did not show up as scheduled, I'm now frustrated and can't spend another day waiting and wondering when technician will show up. I contacted Precision and cancelled services and request a refund and initiated a payment dispute with my bank. After all of this, my bank credited my account and refunded most of my money. Precision still charged me for the cost of the Tune-up $319.90 but never completed the work. I complained directly with Precision on a couple of occasions and they finally attempted to schedule a time to perform a Tune-up. Once again they did not show all day and I finally get a call in the evening (6:48pm.) from technician who wants to show up to perform the work. Can't believe they want to do this work at night... I'm now totally frustrated and don't want to deal with a company who is so unreliable. I want a refund for Tune-up services that were never performed.

Hello ******, it appears that we came out and did a inspection of the system initially with a 159 tune up. Our tech came out and found multiple items that needed to be addressed including cleaning you indoor coils, fixing your furnace exhaust vent that was not up to code, and several pounds of refrigerant. It appears on all of your calls in which we have attempted to make contact with you and update you position you were either unresponsive or requested to move to a later timeframe. All of our phone calls are recorded for future reference. It appears on your last appointment management offered to send out another tech because some of the recommended refrigerant was not waived in the $1000 quote as the tune up includes up to one pound as needed per system. It appears you were on schedule and when the office went to reach out within your timeframe to route tech you did not respond yet again to any contact. It appears all of your tune up was complete with the reception of adding 1 pound of refrigerant. Please let us know when you would like to get back on schedule.

Within LESS than 24 hours this guy took my compressor to the manufacturer ' switched it out NO COST TO ME!! THE PRECISION tech told me it would be $6,000!! It was under warranty!! Less than 24 hrs I had a great AC system that's finally COLD! I had even tried calling Precision again and got no response!!I've learned my ******* Do not trust what Precision says! Hello **********************,Thank you for your feedback and for being a loyal customer of ********************** for over 20 years. We're sorry to hear about your recent experience, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We understand you've faced multiple issues with your AC unit since its installation, and we have worked diligently to resolve them. In October 2022, we replaced your evaporative coil at no cost, despite it being three years outside of your one-year labor warranty. This included covering labor, refrigerant, and the filter driercosts that were not under warrantyamounting to over $3,900. Your cooling was restored after this service. In July 2023, when your main control board failed, we replaced it under warranty, with you covering only the labor costs, and cooling was restored again.Regarding your most recent service on July 12, 2024, our technician found that your compressor had failed. While the compressor itself was under warranty, the associated labor, refrigerant, and filter drier required for the replacement were not covered, and we provided a quote for these costs. We understand that you chose not to move forward with this quote. We want to clarify that Precision does not stock compressors, as all warranty parts must be counter-exchanged at the manufacturer to maintain warranty coverage. We provided an option to replace your compressor with a 20% discount through your membership, but we regret that this solution did not meet your needs at the time.Regarding communication, our records indicate that we have responded to each of your calls and sent a technician to evaluate your system as needed. After your most recent call, our management team reached out within 24 hours and left a voicemail on your main phone number, but we did not receive a callback. We strive to deliver quality service at a fair price, and we regret that you feel we fell short in your case. Our intention has always been to provide you with the best possible service and to address issues promptly and thoroughly. Our team has made efforts to rectify your issues, including covering over $4,000 in service costs to assist you beyond your warranty coverage. If you would like to discuss your concerns further or if theres anything we can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at ************. We value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

I was treated so bad by this company. I had bought a new unit from them. I had to wait almost a month in 114. The salesman said he would do his best to get it sooner. I never spoke to him after that. A year later my unit starts acting up. I had 2 techs come out the same day for freon. I was charged almost a $1000 for freon and whatever else they did. It was you need freon. 1st it 2 lbs low, then 4 lbs low. On the same day. Granted my unit was only a year old. It still didn't cool my house. Finally had a guy come out, who said it was the compressor. I asked to have that money returned. Since the freon was never the problem. So it never solved anything. They did have the mfg pay for the compressor. But they never have returned my money. Someone called me in Oct of 2023 and I told him the situation. He said someone would call me back because he didn't know how to deal with it. No one has ever called me back. Also, I've never had any communication about maintenence for my unit or an follow up on my complaint. They put a huge hole in my ceiling, because they couldn't get the old one out. I'm so dissatisfied with everything with this company. If I could return everything from the unit, installation, etc. I would. Not a very reliable company. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They still have never returned my money. I'm still fighting the issue.

Dear ***********************************,Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.Upon revisiting the information provided, it appears there was a miscommunication regarding the refrigerant charges. Our records indicate that during the initial visit, you were provided with 1lb of refrigerant at no cost. Subsequently, during the follow-up visit, you purchased an additional 2 lbs of refrigerant, totaling 3 lbs.Regarding the diagnosis of your compressor, while it was outside the one-year labor warranty, we ensured that necessary repairs were made at no additional cost to you. This included the replacement of the compressor, filter drier, as well as new refrigerant and recovery of the old refrigerant, along with a pressure test. Additionally, pre-existing collapsed duct work was repaired as part of the service, totaling over $4,000 in repairs that were covered by us.We acknowledge your frustration regarding the lack of follow-up. However, please note that as per our maintenance agreement, it is the responsibility of the customer to reach out to us to schedule maintenance, and we will accommodate accordingly.Regarding the hole in your ceiling from the unit installation, we're glad to hear that this issue was brought to our attention and promptly addressed by our install manager and repairs were completed. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

I'm only writing this to help others from falling into the trap I did...........I called Precision Air and Plumbing to come out to give me a price to install 3 hose bib valves on our house. I've dealt with this company before, buying and installing air conditioners in the past. After a great relationship on the Air side of the company, I decided to deal with the plumbing side and asked to get a price for 3 hose bib valves installed. The man arrived, looked at the job and when I asked him for a price, he said $195 and I said ok go ahead with the job. He went to his truck and started working. When he was done, he asked for my credit card, typed in the number and had me sign 3 blank tablet screens. When I went to look at my email later that day, I found the bill to be $782.04. I went to the phone to call them and was transferred to the man that did my job. I asked him why the big difference in price when he told me the job would cost $195. He then proceeded to say that he never gave me that price. This is a classic example of bait and switch. When I talked to the manager, he said I signed an estimate before the job began but he can't come up with proof of when I signed it because I signed 3 blank documents and 1 was the estimate after the job was completed. I'm sure that the manager is part of the scam because he backed up his worker 100% so I'm sure this company does this to everyone that doesn't ask for a written estimate..

Do not buy their maintenance plan. They are crooks! They will tell you you need repairs when you do not. They will also lie and make "problems" like pouring water on something to make it appear you have a leak. Do not recommend!!!!

Hi ******,We're sorry to hear you're dissatisfied with the service you were provided, but wanted to clear a few things up in regards to this review. Our technician conducted a routine check on your water heater, discovering several issues that required attention. The anode rod and T&P valve were both found to be leaking, indicating neglected maintenance on your 5-year-old unit. These are fundamental components that should not be leaking and require regular servicing. It's unfortunate that you interpret our technician's professional assessment as an attempt to trick you.We regret to hear about your dissatisfaction. However, your claims lack sustainability and appear to be based on hearsay. As part of our normal visit, our techs are instructed to notify the homeowner that if they wish to follow you during the visit for educational purposes, youre more than welcome to. You and your husband were working from home during this visit and were unable to. Our protocols ensure transparency and professionalism during every service visit, including managerial oversight during services. On every call techs are instructed to have a manager touch base with them to ensure that the customer is having a good experience and that the items being discussed with the customer are done in a fair and logical fashion. Our software indicates a manager did in fact touch base with you during this visit. Might I ask, why did you not feel the need to air your frustrations or the hostile environment at this time? If you truly encountered a hostile environment, we would have appreciated immediate communication to address the issue at hand. Additionally, you called in two days later and did not ask to talk to management regarding your experience and stated your home warranty stated that you didnt need anything. You also stated you would be defaming the company on multiple platforms and instructed one of our new employees to quit over a recorded line. While your water heater is still under warranty for a year for certain failed parts, specific items like the anode rod and T&P valve are not covered. The reason being for this is because your anode rod is a similar component as a filter is to your air conditioning unit, meaning the required frequency for exchange on this item does not meet warranty qualifications. Your T&P valve is an external valve that does not come with a water heater, so it is not included in your water heaters warranty. The point of preventative maintenance is to avoid future problems, which is why our technician recommended addressing the issues identified during the visit. You stated you have a home warranty which is in place to fix problems when they are present. Our technician was merely bringing these issues to your attention in avoidance of them turning into something larger, to which you called out your home warranty to fix a preventative maintenance issue that was not in relation to the current problem presented by our technician. Relying solely on a home warranty for maintenance-related issues may result in denial of coverage, as evidenced by your recent experience. We hope this clarifies our perspective on the matter. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We value your feedback and strive to ensure customer satisfaction

The installation team did a great job. I got three different quotes and Precision Air had best for very good unit.A few problems at end of the install not due to installers but the salesman forgot to tell a few details.First I wanted to keep my old unit and second the hole going into the attic wasnt finished.Salesman error. They sent a different crew out the next day to finish it and after repeated inquiries about the old unit, no one has called me back.**** whats up with the follow up.Could have been 5 stars.
