My husband bought a Spyder from ****** RideNow in August 2024. He had bought a motorcycle from them before so I thought they would take care of him. Unfortunately that did not happen. He put $16,000.00 down on a $22,000 Tryke yet they added $11,000 worth of fees. My husband was in the end stages of a rough battle with Cancer. He got to ride it for about all of 20 miles. Unfortunately his health declined quickly towards the end of the year and he passed away. I contacted RideNow and was told I would have to pay it off (owing $14,000) and they would buy it back for $11,000.00. No other offers were made. My husband was a disabled Army veteran who served our country for almost 13 years Active Duty. He passed away from toxic exposure from his time in the ***********. I am also a disabled veteran who was retired from the Army. So after my husband passed and I pulled out the paperwork I was appalled. At this point I have reached out multiple time to request a refund on the maintenance and Gap protections. The lender is going to come and get the Tryke from my home. They too said to contact RideNow for the refund and I am getting no response other than someone from Rumble telling me someone will contact me. ***** on this company and their predatory practices. We brought in our 2023 ***** Pioneer 700 for service back in August of 2024 for the shifting linkage being hard to switch into different gears. Our unit has been in service for 6 months now, completely torn apart, sitting out in the open getting sun baked, rained on, and completely rusted, and now on our 3rd service writer with still no repairs. We have gone to local management who is aware of the situation, but we are still sitting in the same spot as we were months ago. We have been lied to a few times within the last 6 months, and falsely told to bring our unit home (twice on two different machines) while it was in the middle of being serviced and damaged it more. We have been making payments on a unit we have not had this entire time, our warranty time is running out, and our value on the machine is decreasing tremendously. We have tried to reach out to someone from corporate but have had zero luck and this is our last resort before reaching out to legal counsel. We have been a loyal customer and have bought 2 brand new machines from here and have brought other machines of ours in for service in the past, but this whole situation has left a terrible feeling with us that we are not coming back once we get our ***** back (if we ever get it back). I have a lot more info to provide on this whole situation that won't fit in this complaint box that I need to address with someone higher up, perhaps the service director or someone above the store managers (since I have already spoke with them).Business Response

Bought a 2024 kyo kmb60 and could not get it to started to even ride. Took it back to ride now ******** to fix the said it was the battery. Dropped it off on 12/21/24 didn't get it back till 12/31. While picking it up it still didn't start right away but the tech said it was cold that's why. Took it home still couldn't get it to stay running. Took it back on Jan 8. Got told we were at fault for a brand new battery dying and we would get charged. The tech kept trying to blame us for a new battery dying not even considering it could be a short or another issue. We told them we are not paying for a bike that hasn't even worked since we got it. They have yet to contact us.Business Response

We purchase a bike from RideNow that included the trade in of our old bike. I took my Gsxr 600 at ride now powersports in vista ca to install a back tire. They inspect the bike and told me about the brakes and chain needs to be replaced so I told them next time. After 30mins the job was done. They told me not to drive fast and take it easy coz of the new tire. After 30muns of riding my chain got loose and got derailed from the back sprocket and broke the bottom of my engine and spilled all my coolant. I almost got hurt but the curb help the bike to stop. As I look at the chain tensionare it wasnt even thats why it got derailed. I called them and they pick up the bike Tuesday afternoon. They look at the bike and they told me they cant get the parts anymore and I ask them theyre the one who didnt do the job right coz its not even thats why I got into accident but they said they will deliver the bike back and now Im gonna get stuck with a broken motorcycle. They didnt even try to help me with the problem and left me with a broken motorcycle I know its an older bike a 2001 but that doesnt matter coz I payed for the service And deserve the right service. I told them if they gonna replace or pay for the bike and they said no. So now Im not sure what will I do and Im gonna get back a broken bike. We appreciate the opportunity to provide additional information related to this consumer complaint. ************ arrived at our service department with a flat rear tire. Our Service Advisor completed a walk around during which time he explained to ************ the needed repairs to make his vehicle safe to ride. We explained that the vehicle was currently unsafe to operate. ************ declined any additional repairs other than the new tire. Our service staff installed the new tire, but did not conduct a test ride because the vehicle was deemed unsafe for our employees. When the vehicle was picked up by ************, we advised him several times not to operate the vehicle in its current condition. When we received the call from ************ about the chain falling off, we offered to pick the vehicle up and bring it back to our service department. We again explained to ************ the condition of his chain and overall safety of his vehicle. Unfortunately, the incident that occurred was not related to the replacement of his tire. I purchased a can am spyder in August of 2023. It is now April 2nd 2024. I myself have made ********* times to people working at/for ridenow trying to straighten a title issue out. I have been paying monthly payments on a motorcycle I can not plate due to a mess up on the title from ridenow. ************ I have spoken to say they have to send it up the chain of command and I will hear back from someone. I do not recall specific dates of the phone calls. The local dmv that has the title will not process it. Personnel from the dmv have also made several attempts to have it straightened out.Business Response

BEWARE! BEWARE! RideNow Powersports On *** in ******,** Charged me for assembly/setup twice and will not refund my "DEALER ASSEMBLY/SETUP" money ($688.00)! On the **** OF SALE there is a line with a (*), that line says "Dealer Titling/Processing", ($599.95). That (*) refers to 2 sentences at the bottom of the **** OF SALE. That statement reads; *THESE CHARGES REPRESENT COSTS AND PROFITS TO THE DEALER FOR ITEMS SUCH AS UNPACKING, ASSEMBLY, SETUP, INSPECTION, CLEANING AND ADJUSTING THE ***** AND PREPARING DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE ****** Those 2 sentences describe what would be the same as "DEALER ASSEMBLY/SETUP", it says it word for word. The Sales Manager and General Manager claim those 2 charges have nothing to do with each other. Are kidding me, it says it word for word! "ASSEMBLY AND SETUP"! Do not fall for it!RideNow of *** simply says; "well that's how we have done it for years". I'm not sure you would want to admit that RideNow On *** has been pulling this off for years. In my opinion, how many customers have been double charged for ASSEMBLY AND SETUP. To try and make the problem and me go away they offered $300 off a $859 accessory. Dealer Doc is a completely separate fee from any itemized Dealer Assembly and set up. The bill **** of Sale is quit clear. The assembly/setup is a separate line item.
Assembly/setup is included in another line item Dealer Titling/Processing. That entry has an (*) in from of it referring to 2 sentences at the bottom of the **** of Sale. In those 2 sentences they describe charges and costs included in the line item Dealer Titling/Processing. The (*) statement at the bottom of the page specifically includes assembly and setup, ie. processing.
RideNow Powers On *** tries to pass this off as being confusing to the customer insulting there intelligence. Its not confusing, its in black and white.
In talking with the dealers Sales Manager one reason he said the dealer could not refund my assembly/setup charge was that if he did it for me he would have to do it for everyone else. To me that sounds like an administration of guilt. Frankly that is what RideNow Powersports should do for everyone they double charged for assembly/setup.

11/21/23 at the ******** ***** store, I bought a new 2023 ***** Pioneer **** deluxe, new trailer, and extended warranty for the *****.The salesman said they would take care of registration and charged a total of $1,241.01 plus fees for NM registration and license.Instead of registering, they sent me the titles, incorrect bills of sale, and incorrect title applications. It shows that we paid almost 4K more than we did. Also, if theyre expecting me to register these myself, they also didnt send the $ I already paid.My complaint is - The documents are incorrect and cant be used for registration I already paid them for this The registration application for the ***** has the price already filled. The cost they put is the total for what I paid for the *****, trailer, extended warranty, and registration fees all together. The application for the trailer has the price already filled. The cost on both together is almost 4K more than I paid.The bill of sale for the ***** has the cost of the extended warranty and registration fees included in the total cost. And the numbers are still incorrect.The bill of sale for the trailer has the cost of the ***** extended warranty on it. The cost of registration and filing fees are added to total cost of the trailer. That price is what they put on the application. All this is incorrect.I tried contacting them once and they ignored me. I contacted the salesman asking why theyre ignoring me. He replied and said the finance manager would contact me. Thats been 10 days ago. If they are taking care of this, they should let me know and do it. If these are the figures they send to the **** I will let the *** know when I go to sign.If Im to take care of it, they should also let me know. Thats the last I heard.There is a serious issue with the documents themselves. I mentioned that in my first complaint but only had **** characters. It would be best if upper management contacted me as I don't know if it should be on a public complaint. This is my first ever BBB complaint. And I don't know what is allowed.

Its an on going issue with ride now, and their horrible customer support. I havent even had my Rzr for a year and all I do is get lied to by the staff. Make an appointment, a week later after dropping it off still hasnt been looked at. ****************** ***** to say the least, tell me one thing and write down something else in the computer to cover their tails. I have spent countless amounts of money with them, and not a single ***** more. I purchased a side by side in November 2022 from the ************ Ride Now. They said they had to fix some things on it before I could take it home. They kept it a few weeks then called and said it was ready to be picked up. I went and got it took it out for the first and only time and the engine light came on. I stopped riding it immediately because I didn't know what was wrong with it. I took it back to Ride Now and they kept it almost 4 months first saying they were waiting on a machine or tool to diagnose it then saying they were waiting on a part for it. When I was finally able to go pick it up I brought it home to notice a lot of dents and scratches on it that weren't there before. It also had a brand new top on it which leads me to believe someone took it out joy riding while they were supposed to be fixing it. When I asked about the new top they didn't deny it but also wouldn't explain it. The inside was filthy and they left 2 water bottles full of sunflower seed hulls that someone spit in the bottles. The headlight was loose and hanging and now the door will not stay shut. I noticed a strong gas smell but thought it was just from starting it and putting it in the garage. For the next few days we left the garage door open to air out but after a week one morning my whole house smelled like gas. It had gotten worse. I called them to complain so they sent someone out to get it. I tried to talk to them about buying it back for what i owed on it. I would loose the $4000 i put down and everything I had paid on it but just wanted it gone tired of dealing with them. I paid $23000 for something i rode once. They have had it longer then me so I am paying for something that has been sitting in their shop longer then my garage. They offered me $10000 for it which is less then half of what I owe. Horrible place to do business with. Please read all the complaints on this place before you buy from them. They do not care about their customers only the money.Business Response
