Review for Ikmar Plumbing *****I am extremely disappointed with the service Ive received. Our household has been without a functioning water heater for over two weeks. When we placed the order for the necessary parts, we were assured that installation would take place within the ******* accommodate this, we made arrangements to ensure someone would be home during the scheduled appointment. Initially, we were given a morning appointment but later received a text stating that the team was running behind due to staffing shortages and that an afternoon appointment would be more appropriate. We adjusted our plans accordingly and waited for 6.5 hours.When the afternoon arrived, we saw a truck pull up outside. However, no one knocked on the door or attempted to make contact, and the vehicle quickly left. This level of disregard for customers who rely on hot water for essential daily activitiesbathing, cooking, and cleaningis unacceptable. Families should not have to endure such negligence.I urge the Better Business Bureau to review this situation and hold Ikmar Plumbing ***** accountable for its poor service and lack of reliability. Customers deserve better.

Working with a warranty involves a procedural process from receiving the call, scheduling the appointment, the technician's arrival, and submitting a report to the warranty. The job and parts orders are then authorized by the warranty. The waiting time for parts to be available can sometimes pose an unpredictable delay. Once the parts are available, we contact you to schedule an appointment.
I profoundly apologize for the disruption in the appointment schedule. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our technicians may sometimes fall behind, and in such cases we strive to inform our customers right away.
If a technician arrives at a property and is unable to receive a response despite efforts of contact, our protocol is for them to notify the office, which then attempts to reach out. If there is no response within a 15 minute interval, the call is rescheduled.
We understand the necessity and importance of prompt and effective service, especially when it impacts essential daily activities. We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. My 90 year old grandmothers water heater went out Dec 31 and I called the *** they contracted the work out to Ikmar Plumbing. I called and let them know that I have my 90 year old grandmother living here and I needed this resolved as soon as possible. The guy came out on the 6th or 7th and said he had to order some parts. The parts came on the the 13th but they said they couldnt get anyone out to install till the next weekagain I again asked them to come sooner as my grandmother was here and she couldnt leave and they said they couldnt do anythingthe guy came out on Jan 20th and replaced the part and said everything is working now and to wait an hour before you run the hot waterThe heater was still not working and I called them numerous times with no response. I finally had to call the ** and have them call and they told the ** that I needed a new water heaterso the ** will pay for a new water heater but I have to pay $540 for the modificationsif Ikmar plumbing is replacing exactly the same water heater, I dont understand what the modifications are forIts nearly a month and they're supposed to come Jan 28th to replace the water heater. The fact that they couldnt understand the importance of hot water for a 90 year old lady that is home bound is not okthe fact that they try to make extra money by claiming she needs to pay for modifications is not okABC Restoration And Asbestos

Please note that our contract with hone warranty standard process requires us to attempt to repair the equipment before considering replacement. After repair is done and failure is not completed our team concluded that it was not operational and recommended a new water heater.
Regarding the additional costs, the non-covered charges are determined by the home warranty company, not by Ikmar Plumbing. These charges are typically associated with necessary modifications to ensure that the new water heater will function correctly and efficiently.
I want to assure you that we take the welfare and comfort of our clients very seriously. Our goal is to deliver quality and timely service to all.

*** was an excellent plumber. He knows what hes doing and finished the job quickly. I had two plumbers out and they werent able to fix my shower but **** did! Hes also very friendly and polite. I will use IKMAR Plumbing again.ABC Restoration And Asbestos
