      I am very happy with Ikmar plumbing since their technician ***** was very kind and professional in his work. He solved my problem efficiently. I had a problem with my water heater tankless, several technicians from other companies had come to repair it but none had been able to do it until *****. which is why I leave my positive review.

      Do not use this company even if your home warranty company assigns this contractor. I had a pilot light that kept going out on my water heater. Note: My hot water heater was working, but needed to be repaired. An employee from Ikmar came over on 3/25/24 for the appointment. It was immediately apparent that she did not know what she was doing. She proceeded to take apart my water heater without telling me what she was doing. After the water heater parts were taken out, she told me that some parts needed to be replaced. The worse part is that she had no clue how to put it back again so that my hot water heater was working as it was before she showed up. I believe that she was not a trained or certified plumber. I have been waiting for this part now for almost 2 weeks with no hot water. I have not even received a phone call or an apology for them leaving me in much worse shape than when they arrived. On 3/27/24, they told the home warranty company that they expected the part to arrive on 3/30/24 and that they would call me on this day. They never followed up and now I have called the home warranty company twice this week. Both times the home warranty company has tried to call them without success. They have not been responding back. During further investigation, it appears that the parts could have been ordered online and received within one day or purchased at the local hardware store. So, why has it been almost 2 weeks without any response. I finally asked the home warranty company what part numbers they ordered. Ikmar did not provide them with all of the information. However, the part number that they gave me had been discontinued over 4 years ago which leads me to believe that they were going to install used parts. I told my home warranty company that this company is not permitted to come back to my home so I am still waiting to try to get this resolved. Ikmar Plumbing also has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.

      working with the home warranty is a process usually we are authorized to do repairs with mechanical failures, like in this case the water heater gas control valve . the valve was in failure again working with home warranty we are only authorized to repair on parts until we determine we are not able to repair only the failing part. Ikmar plumbing does not use "used" parts we work with various vendors that can supply us with brand new parts, that include older or new item models that are hard to find. Our company strives to give the best customer experience and are always woking on improving communication with our customers and warrantys. We would have loved for this to been brought to our attention so we could have resolved it in a timely manner we would have sent a second inspection for a senior technician. in rare cases that we can not find the parts thru our vendors we talk to the home warranty and recommend replacement as the last option. I apologize about the inconveniance and are sad we were not able to meet your needs. If a change of opinion is made we would love to speak with you and give you a discount for the inconvenience or the next repair . good day .

      Our hot water heater went out on a Thursday. Were referred to this company through our home warranty. Took them two days to come to the house. Diagnosed the problem as a bad gas control valve. Didn't have one on the truck. This was a Saturday. Said someone would be in contact on Monday. No one called so I called. They said they would get back to me regarding ordering the gas valve. An hour later I get an email from the warranty company saying it'll take four days to get the part, then I would have to schedule with Ikmar to have it replaced. I asked Ikmar if in fact it would take this long and they said yes. I said we have been without hot water for five days and we felt it was totally unreasonable to ask us to go another five days. It should be noted that I called a local plumbing supply company who stated they had it in stock. I told Ikmar I refused to wait and wished to cancel. Their response was OK and hung up. Total lack of professionalism and customer service. I then cancelled my home warranty policy.

Part arrival depends how soon we can find the part and delivered to us. Than we contact you to schedule when it has been delivered.

      This company was provided through my home warranty and the technician immediately told me there was nothing wrong because they saw no leak. I showed them the clumps of rust that were drained from the heater, they dismissed it as calcium despite the reddish brown color. They left without draining the tank water to see the color and only assessed the water heater with their eyes externally. Im not a plumber but who does this! What a waste of my time to be home to let them in!

      I had an issue with our backyard faucet leaking. I utilized the ***** home warranty and was introduced to Ikmar Plumbing. ********************************* contacted us before coming and was very prompt. He was courteous and showed exactly what his steps were to replace the valve before he did the work. To his credit, he found a long-term fix where there won't be soddering involved with future repairs. I am very happy with his service and demeanor and will use him in the future without hesitation. Highly recommended.
