A young man came to my home with a name tag on a lanyard and navy polo shirt that said Power Connections on both of them. I was about to tell him there is no solicitation in my community, but he said they were associated with APS, and that I had to have a new meter put on my house. (APS had installed a new one a few years ago, so this seemed a bit soon, but not unusual.) I asked him a couple of times, "What do you mean? I HAVE to?" and he said yes. When I asked WHY? he said someone would come to my house to explain, and wanted to make an appointment right then. After he left I called APS and they said that Power Connections is a solar power company trying to get my business. They didn't in any way represent APS. They assured me that APS has no program with them, and I do NOT have to have a new meter, etc. It is just a ploy to get a salesman to come talk with us and sell us solar power. I see on ******** that there are other complaints about them of the same nature. Beware--they are deceptive.

Power Connections ************** ****, ** is misrepresenting itself as an APS subcontractor. They want to "take a picture of your power box" to "see if you qualify for a money-saving APS program." "Do you know if your circuit box is original?" It's all a lead-up to a solar company sales pitch. The last guy wouldn't even admit he works for a solar company. "I'm just here to take the picture." Like he's an overworked construction worker just trying to keep the power flowing for APS.Their outdated website says they are solar consultants which means they broker solar deals, for a commission, with the companies that actually install and service solar systems. The real solar companies are very capable of selling, installing, and servicing their solar systems; they dont need help from solar consultants. The real solar companies dont sell door-to-door. The solar consultants disappear as soon as they have your money. Dont entertain a conversation with them.Power Connections

Young man came to house in a private auto. He had no Id or uniform but identified himself as APS. He claimed we had an old meter and may need replaced. He had to take picture and we needed to watch him take picture then Aps would determine if we qualified for a new meter. Called APS who had no record of him being at our home. They told me no one drives personal car either and all have ID.HE HAD A SHIRT WITH POWER CONNECTIONS PRINTED. HE SAID THEY WOULD COME BACK FRIDAY AT 3pm if we qualified. Checked internet to discover they sell solar.Called 911, they said they were too busy today to check this out.******************* 623-680-722)Power Connections

I have had solar since February I am satisfied with the services provided through power connections. My bill has been significantly lower. I have had no problems since installation which took about one half of a day. I would recommend this to anyone.Power Connections

Showed up to "help save me from APS rate hikes." I will be turning them down but yes, ignored my no soliciting sign. I believe they have tried to harass me before but this time I played along so I could get the company's name. Rep did not have a business card or even offered any contact information, just the business name.Respect homeowners. If we say no soliciting, there's a reason. Good luck with that picture of my panel, it's old and messed up!Power Connections

Friends in Phoenix area beware; There is a company with website " your power connection. com " wanting to get pictures of YOUR electric meter. They want to be in YOUR backyard taking pictures of YOUR electric meter which has identification info as to who the meter belongs to. The sales rep makes it out to be like a reverse mortgage. We'll pay you to install solar. They do NOT need picture of your meter. Smart Residential meters are standard across the valley. The company also appears to hire people that don't understand what "NO SOLICITING" MEANS.It means DO NOT SOLICIT MY TIME, OPINIONS, MONEY, PRODUCTS, BELONGINGS, SERVICES OR ANYTHING ELSE. Or in simpler terms "go away" They also tell you that their electric rates are lower than APS or SRP. They have no idea what you pay unless you tell them. There are many variables.Power Connections

Blatantly ignoring a No Soliciting sign that is visible from the other side of the street, but centered on the door and directly over the Ring device that they rung. So county or city soliciting permits either. ******** tried lying to me that he wasnt soliciting, but clearly was. Just another business that thinks the rules dont apply to them.Power Connections
