And were better than competitive with the price. They saved me $305. with the fix.

1 starOne star is too generous. This company gave me a bid for over $10,000 to replace my garage door and opener. This was not a door with glass or custom woodwork or solid gold hinges. It was a regular 2-car garage door. When I asked them to justify the price, they told me that the door cost them over $7000 to purchase. They will scam you if they can get away with it. We have had great service with Armstrong throughout the years, and Jeff has been reliable each time. Most recently, our coil broke. Jeff was able to come that morning, and he arrived earlier than the scheduled window of time! Jeff completed the repair and we were able to get on with our day. 1 starwe ordered a garage door in June of 2022...a salesman came out and took measurements and said they required half down before they started. He told me the door would be in the first week in September 2022 and they would be out to install it. Around the first of September, they sent me a text telling me to move everything back in my garage so they could install. They never came, so a couple days after they were supposed to install, I phoned and a woman said that a vendor had sold my door...they were waiting for another door which would be to them by the middle of October. Middle of October came and I phoned because they did not show and a woman said the door came but was missing two panels so it wouldn't be installed until at least the beginning of November...they say they respond to calls within ***** hours but, when I called again nobody called me back...so, I called wowt6.mikemcknight.com ....he said to file a complaint with BBB first, because when he called the company they said the door would be in by the end of November and it didn't come so he said to be sure file the complaint with BBB. I called the company after I spoke with ************************* and the woman said "well, it should be in by the middle of December"....I don't believe this will ever happen...I'd like to get my $1500.00 back that I had to pay down.Review fromJames K.

1 starI requested a total cost estimate before agreeing to replace my garage door opener, The Service Tech gave me a price I believed was reasonable and authorized him to complete the service. On completing the opener replacement he then tells me that the door spring has to be replaced at a cost of approx. $800.00, plus additional costs for the rollers and weather stripping. If the spring is not replaced it could burn up the motor and this would void the warranty. Since he did not include this in his original estimate or even mention it as a possible issue, I paid for what he had done and asked him to leave. I'm very upset about this deception and afraid to use the door opener for fear of creating additional issues.I sent the company an email more than 2 weeks ago and have not received a reply.
