I got bloodwork done in September of 2021, and it should have been (and was) entirely covered by my insurance. I had forgotten about the bill, but eventually did get this figured out and officially paid for by my insurance in January (my bad). The Explanation of Benefits (***) shows the payment was fully processed on February 2nd, 2022, but I received relentless, harassing, daily phone calls all through March asking me to pay the bill. After telling them that my insurance paid for the bill in its entirety already, I was told I need to send the *** to them. I sent the *** from my insurance on March 30th, 2022. A billing customer service representative replied to my email with confirmation that they received the information on April 4th, and told me I would hear back within **** days after they reviewed the information, but I never heard from anyone at the company again. This bill was sent to collections shortly after on April 15th despite being paid for and without notifying me. I only found out on 12/24/2022 it was sent to collections after it showed up on my credit report. It took so long for me to notice because I never heard from any collections agency or Sonora Quest that I still owed anything for this bill (because it was paid for!). I emailed Sonora Quest two times to no answer either time (even though the automated response says you'll hear back in 3-5 days). A third time, I told them if I do not hear a response, I will file a BBB complaint. They responded to this within 24 hours and told me they removed the remaining balance and pulled it from collections. After reading the other reviews, it's clear this is not an uncommon complaint for this company, and I have no idea how they have an A+ rating when this has happened to so many people. I'm not the type to leave reviews, but this was just a horrible experience from start to finish. If you can help it, avoid this place at all costs because I have never hated a company like I do this one :)Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

Rude. Tried to call to get info on how to proceed with my testing and getting a hold of an actual person through their phone number is almost impossible. Then when I got a hold of someone they rude, then hung up on me. Went in the office, they were rude as well. Go anywhere else.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

This is an awful place to have to deal with. I got labwork done through my doctor like 4 years ago, just now am being told it was sent to collections and naturally there is no paperwork handy telling me anything about this. You can't pay the bill online without some sort of reference #, I can't get ahold of them as their phones are always automated and sending me in circles rather than putting me in touch with someone, and when you leave a "Contact Us" note on their website, the site errors out and doesn't submit. Just an absolute trash place to deal with.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

Sonora quest lab took over a month to get my lab results to my doctor's ******* My doctor and her front desk had to call them continuously and at one point they told my doctor that my specimen was misplaced. They then sent me a bill, which I PAID IN FULL, and are now threatening to take it to collections. I have been calling them and am on hold for over an hour. At this point, I'm unsure if they even answer their calls. It has been a horrible experience from start to finish. Not sure how a lab misplaces a specimen and then goes after the customer for payment when they have already been paid. If this does end up with collections, I will need to get an attorney involved for the misplacement of my specimen, the delayed time it took to get the results back to my doctor (I needed treatment for it) and for harassing me about collections when the stupid bill was already paid. This place needs to go out of business. I hope I never have the displeasure of dealing with this lab again. Pro tip: ask your doctor's ****** if they use this lab beforehand because if they do you should go somewhere else!!!Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC

The lab at Southwest Kidney is the worse. The lab tech shows barely at 8:00 am and then takes 30 minutes or more to start testing. Worse start and finish for any other Sonora lab.Sonora Quest Laboratories LLC
