  We had an awful experience with this company and I do not recommend them. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.We were originally quoted a maximum of $3500 by *****. After the move was completed, we were asked to pay $6000.While the move was in progress, the employees stole fine jewelry from our home (wedding ring and a necklace). We immediately reported this to the company and the company has not taken any responsibility; they asked us to file a police report, which we did. Further, they did not express any regret. This makes me wonder if this is something they deal with often from their employees.The employees were aggressive with our items while moving. We have fragile furniture and other items and multiple pieces were damaged. We did pay for insurance and we are still waiting for any reimbursement.The main issue is that this company and its employees were not professional. They don't take accountability for their actions and we are extremely disheartened and feel violated to have lost personal items of such value and that are irreplaceable.

Despite our initial efforts, we've managed to find a resolution as a good-faith gesture, even though our records do not indicate these items were transported by us.We understand your concern and have attempted to reach out to you for further discussion, but unfortunately, we are still awaiting a return call.   Updated Review - After finally getting back to me, (i emailed for my inventory list 12/19/23 and after a couple of phone calls and emails asking for it, i finally got this response 1/4/24 - "After going back and forth with our operations team and moving team in-charge of your move, it was found out that your inventory list was not uploaded to the system by the driver. It was stored only in the tablet that **** (the driver) used during the move. However, the tablet got stolen during one of his other moves before his return to base. Unfortunately, after trying several options, there is now no way for us to retrieve the said document. We are now dealing with this matter internally to make sure this will not happen again. We do apologize for all the inconvenience this has brought you"Not a great experience overall, especially for having to pay everything up front and had better rates. I trusted them more because they sold the higher price to me - saying they would take care of all my stress and worry with the extra cost and care. I hope they do take care of this issue and communications because it is important to your customers. ****** tried to be communicative and the movers did communicate with me as well. Just really disappointed with the lack of communication from ****** after I signed the contract and paid the deposit and how my inventory list was handled.

  This was the best moving experience ever! The team was professional, efficient, friendly. They took such good care of our things and, took such great care bringing them into our new home so as to not scratch or dent or mark up walls etc. They were fast and efficient! Worth every *****!

  Muscular Moving Men & Storage was referred to me by a local mover that couldn't work with our schedule. I called and talked to a very personable salesman. We verbally agreed to use them and he asked for a $200 deposit which I gave him on a credit card. When we received their terms, I noticed that they wanted a Bank payment upon loading our furniture. That was unacceptable. I called and asked for different terms. The salesman said that he would check. He never got back to me. After several days, I called to cancel the move. They then charged me a $200 cancelation charge. I disputed that and a couple of hours later, they charged me a $700 cancelation. Beware, NO ONE should ever call or deal with Muscular Moving if they are fiscally responsible.

  This is the second time I have used Muscular Moving Men and they continue to exceed my expectations.The communication from start to finish was excellent. Everything was e-mailed to me in clear detail, so I knew what to expect ahead of time. It also gave me the chance to review all charges to make sure they were correct before moving day. No hidden fees or questionable charges. The kept in communication with me prior to moving day and let me add on a few extra needed items like the wardrobe boxes, which were a life saver and at an excellent price. Made it so easy to move my clothes still on the hangar and quickly get them hung back in my closet at my new place.The movers were so courteous, efficient, quick, and careful with my items. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed where I needed it and assembled before they left.5 star rating for sure and will use them again in any future movers.   Very professional men all three of them. Friendly polite and considerate of our stuff. Would recommend them to anyone. I was really impressed with the company. At first was stressed about doing business on line. But the crew went beyond my expectations of great. Nothing got broken like the company we hired three years ago.   Muscular Moving Men was recommended to us. However, I would not use them again, nor would I refer anyone to them.*****************, the manager/coordinator was pleasant, gave us a bid albiet on the high side, acceptable. We contracted for 3 men for 6-7 hours of moving. This was the estimated time and man hours. When the movers arrived, the lead mover informed me there would only be two men. I should have immediately called the company and cancelled. The lead mover assured me, he and his partner could get the job done. They did get it done, however, it took a lot longer than expected. Then the bill was presented and I was astonished to see it was closer ser to $4,000 than the $3100-$3300 on the contract. A phone call to ************** the next day resulted in him saying this was not right and he would consider the circumstances, and I thought rectify the billing. I never heard from him again. I sent another email 2 weeks after the move, no response. Recently, I followed-up with yet another email. No response. Regarding a furniture claim, the insurance company they deal with CAF, is also non-responsive and very hard to deal with according to another major carrier. This other major carrier contacted me within two days of filing my claim.
