      PETSMART, ********************************* On 4-11-21 we took our pets to get groomed at the Flatiron Petsmart in ********. Groomers were ****** and ********. As soon as I got home, I noticed my baby was bleeding and after close examination noticed a **** in his left ear. The blood was gushing out and covered his shirt, my sweater, floor, and over the *************** He was frightened and so were we. We were able to stop the bleeding by applying pressure and cold compresses to his wound which eventually controlled the bleeding. We have been customers at Petsmart in *****, ** for over 8 years and never ever had any issues at the Grooming Salon. My baby is a very sweet tempered dog and ***** Petsmart groomers have always praised how good he behaves. I am extremely distraught of this horrible incident happening to my baby and am very concerned he will be fearful of Groomers from now on due to the distress caused by this accident.

      Location : ********************************************* Groomer : ****** Highly disappointed in my grooming services today at this location! First , i shouldve known itll be a problem when after i booked my appointment the groomer called me immediately and asked me to come earlier bc she felt she wouldnt have enough time to groom him. Why make the appointment time available if its not truly available? I agreed bc i wanted to be as accommodating as possible. Fast forward, I get to the appointment and we discuss the cut i desired for my dog, which was a low cut but only trim his tail and face hair i picked my dog up (about 2 hrs later, which usually his appointments take longer) and this is what i see! Literally shaved bald. Even his tail is completely shaved! Its to the point where i feel he doesnt even recognize himself, literally his behavior has been different since we got home. Then on top of that she tried to charge EXTRA for de-matting when he was not severely matted like she tried to say after this awful cut nor did she de-mat him , she simply just shaved him bald!!! Also i guess to try to change the subject , she said he was aggressive like literally they can read all of his other grooming reports at their company my dog has never been an aggressive dog or has ever showed any signs of aggression EVER!! Literally this is the worst experience I have ever had. I truly feel ****** rushed and did the easiest cut for my dog just so she can hurry up and get off. Also, he did not smell clean

      This pertains to the Petsmart in ********, **. We've lived all over the country and taken our pets to PetSmart for grooming without issue for many years. That was until *****. We've had two issues at drop-off, and both times it was with *****. In fact our other two pups were there yesterday, **** was not, and all went well. Today my husband was five minutes late for drop off, and ***** said well they're going to be here for quite a while longer since you're late. There were literally no other dogs there yet as it was 7:05am. She's rude, and seems to be only interested in adding on fees. We've never paid extra for anything that ***** charges us for. At check in that seems to be the ONLY thing she's concerned with. Not our pups, not their care, just what she can charge extra for. I talked with her over the phone, and wow! In the middle of the conversation she said we needed to pick up our ***** because she went to the bathroom. She is a rescue dog, I'll add through an organization that PetSmart works with. ***** gets very nervous as she was abused. ***** didn't seem to care one bit. That did it. We went back and got our pups and brought them home. We will not return to a PetSmart grooming salon again.

      Stole money and had shipment returned to them and never mailed it back. Refuses to provide a refund either. Horrible service.

      We went to Petsmart in *****, ** (***************************************************** *****) for grooming. My dog had a little bit mat under his ears and chin. They didn't bother to make a careful cut, just simply shaved him all over. They cut his fur very very short and not even. My dog was scared and very upset about that. He was unhappy for several days after I picked him up, which never happened when we sent him to other dog Salons (not Petsmart) before. When I complained to the groomer and the store manager. Both of them were very rude. They didn't let me finish my sentences and just hanged up my phone calls while I'm still talking. They also refused to apologize for their bad service. Very bad experience.

      On the 14th of July, of this year, I picked up four (4), bags of, Hills Metabolic treats, for my Poms. The only reason I made the trip, gas being what it is, was my veterinarian, ************************ had back ordered the treats. I went to the clinic, within the store, and waited while, ******* answered the phone, several times, rather than providing my order. When she finally got to me she explained the cards I would be given, for future orders, THEREs no chance of that. When I mentioned picking up some, In Prime, I was told that , She was doing me a favor, with this sale. Obviously, PetSmarts sales were interrupting Banfields business. Its obvious your store needs management oversight.

      Took my dog in for grooming by ****** and she did an amazing job. Jazz looks and smells so fresh its like 2 lbs of hair was taken off. Thank you so much I would highly recommend PetSmart grooming. Ill be going back

      Dropped my dog off and 5 mins later told me to pick her up she was not shedding normal and that she need to see a vet. This is a 5 year old husky who sheds and looses her coat the same every year and who sees a vet regularly and is in great health. I dont think young girls who take a corse on bathing a dog have any place to make a statement like this.

      July 21 I called Petsmart in *****, ** and made an appointment with the grooming salon for my dog. We have used this Petsmart in the past and they always do a good job. The woman on the phone asked me to bring my dogs rabies vaccination info and I asked why it wasnt in the computer she said she couldnt find it .Sat I arrived at 9 AM check in time; presented my dogs vaccination certificate; and signed off on a piece of paper with no identifying info re customer data on it. The barking din was extremely high so when the second person behind the counter said my dogs name I couldnt really hear her correctly but she had my reservation; just reviewed my rabies certificate; and had my signature on a piece of paper. Asked if it would be around 2-3 hours and they said yes.I ran chores for 3 hours (phone off) and arrived at Petsmart at 12 noon. I was told my dog had been booked under a name I didnt know so I did not have an appointment and she had not been groomed.Highly annoyed, I took my dog and left .I arrived home to find 12 messages from Petsmart telling me to get my dog and that I was banned from Petsmart (grooming I guess). The last message came in threatening to turn my dog over to a rescue or the pound. I called ********* general number and asked for the Manager- the guy who answered the phone said that was him (same guy I think I spoke with in the grooming salon). He clarified that I wasnt banned from Petsmart but that I had issues on my record (winch they couldnt find when I booked and when I dropped my dog off). The issues were two instances (over years) of showing up for a Grooming appointment that wasnt in the books. Same problem as today, and not my fault. But the other two booking fiascos were caught at check in. I asked the guy to repeat something and he hung up on me. Petsmart *****, you have a problem that goes beyond inability to book phone appointments. And Petsmart corporate makes it almost impossible to contact them. Thank you BBB.

      Worst ********** Don't EVER consider leaving your dog here at their dog hotels. I made the mistake of doing so after leaving my 4 month old puppy here when last minute I was told that what I had reserved which was a suite they didn't have. Instead they locked up my 4 month old puppy in a cage and even though I was told they check on him they didn't care he smelled like urine. I was advised the staff who work here have knowledge of pets, yet they failed to recognize that my puppy couldn't hold his pee in a cage. When I complaint via email I received no response. I had to escalate to social media. Then the STORE MANAGER advised me how they offer baths, a solution to wash off the neglect from what my puppy went through. Also, to come back for my puppy to be neglected again and the solution would be to blame the whole experience on one person. Hope this helps anyone else who consider this place. (They don't offer cameras so you can't watch your dog to see if they've been walked.)
