      I cancelled trash pick-up services at my mother's residence on May 7, 2025, and I was not under contract for a specified duration. During the call I was told by the representative that I would receive a credit for the remainder of May because I pre-paid through May 31. I was also informed that if the two containers were missing on the scheduled removal date (May 14) there would be a one time charge for them. Since no one lives at the property and it was recently vandalized I was not certain whether they would be there. On May 22 I received a bill in the amount of $170.55 for removal of the two containers, which I paid as I assumed they were picked up and that would be the final statement. Then on June 22 I received a second bill in the amount of $169.72 for removal of the two containers on May 23. When I phoned on July **************************************** for a cancelled account, I was informed that they made two attempts to pick up the missing containers and they charge ~$170 each time they drive by to look for them. Instead of charging one time for missing containers on my final statement as the representative on May 7 stated they would, they have decided to indefinitely charge me for driving by to look for the two missing containers every few days, which could lead to an unspecified amount. The issue still has not been resolved, and I am asking for a final statement with the cost of the missing containers to be stated and the amount of $170.55 that has already been paid to be applied as a credit to the account. I DO NOT authorize any additional trips to the property to search for the missing containers as they are obviously not there. My mother is 86 years old and she is on a limited income. This is exploitation of the elderly and highly unethical. Thank you for your prompt attention to resolving this matter.

      There was an error when this address was initially established in our routing system which was the root cause of the driver missing service on a recuring basis.  The address has been updated and rectified to reflect the accurate residents location.  Local Supervisor has also reviewed this particular address with the Driver and advised that the customer's service day is Monday.  Going forward the customer will receive service on their scheduled day.

      I employed the services of Republic Services for trash pickup at my house. When I signed up, I was not informed of 2 fees that the company charges in addition to every single other charge. One 18% fee for truck fuel, and one 18% fee for environmental recovery. Totaling 36% more cost on every ***** they charge customers. When the first bill came out, I called to ask why it was so much higher than previously discussed. When told about the fees, and that they were not disclosed to me, they agreed to waive them on this first bill. When my billing window was up, I called to cancel my service, as it was far more expensive than is reasonable. The only reason I chose them in the first place is because they are the only option advertised by Madison county, **. They charged $95 just to come and get the 2 trash cans from the house. I asked them to waive that as it is ridiculous, to which they agreed to waive half of it, and just charge for the pickup of one of the two cans. When the bill came out for the pickup, I was charged for the next 3 months of service (which had already shown canceled in the customer portal), and one and a half of the can pickups. So they only waived half of one of the pickup fees. Again, I called to dispute it, and they said a new bill would be put out the following day. 4 days later, no new bill was showing in the portal, so I called again, and was reassured it would only be a few more days.I am currently deployed with the army and there is very little I can do with this company as they refuse to be reasonable and work with me. It is my opinion that they are borderline criminally overcharging and misleading customers, while providing a sub-par service, and I cannot possibly imagine being the one responsible for such a pathetic and shameful company.       Customer's base rate is $24.74 service + $4.01 additional cart per month; billed quarterly total $86.25.  Fees included are standard fees charged to all of our customer base not subject to a municipal contract.  This "Open Market" rate is a comparable rate as compared to other service providers in ************** (******), including Fuel and Environmental fees.  I can't directly speak to whether the fees were disclosed by our ************************* I do know these fees are included in scripts that guide the *** for this market area.  Upon review of the account all credits promised were issued.  Due to the timing of the cancellation and how our billing system operates, an invoice on 05/28 for the period of June-August was issued $128.23, however, there are pending credits that will post in July and be reflected on the 07/20 invoice effectively eliminating this specific invoice.  What appears to remain is $32.42 from the 06/20 invoice which is the cart removal charge + plus that was discounted by 50% as agreed upon.

      Republic service is threatening to take us to collections and file derogatory credit information for something we DO NOT OWE THEM!! First and foremost, Ive asked to initially cancel our service but realized it might still be worth keeping the service so I called them to Do not cancel our service, I was assured it wont be canceled and all is well until the following week after the call, Republic Services truck took both our trash and recycle bin with them! it was never returned and so we ended up in a mess with our garbage finding alternatives!!Another week came and Republic services sending email that we owe them for services when in fact we already paid the quarterly bill as we asked them to cancel the cancellation! If anything, Republic Services owes us a credit! Its their customer service departments fault that this happened! We clearly communicated via phone call as they dont assist with requests like this over their website inquiry.Theyve missed pick up quite often and never once they credited us back for that!!Its fine that you will not credit us back just please CANCEL THIS BILL AND STOP THREATENING US WITH ANY MORE EMAILS!!!

      On 6/30/25, I contacted Republic Services to cancel my waste management services. Over over three hours, I was transferred between multiple departments and representatives, none of whom resolved my request. I was repeatedly placed on lengthy holds and redirected without progress or explanation.Despite my efforts to communicate clearly and cancel in good faith, I experienced significant delays and a lack of accountability. I expect professional and efficient handling of basic service requests.I am seeking confirmation of cancellation, a formal apology for the poor customer experience, and assurance that no further charges will be incurred moving forward.

      I called Republic Services at ******************************************************************, to cancel our service because we are no longer doing business. I ended up talking to a manger who agreed to end our service without penalty but I would have to continue service until July.

      I just received an invoice which includes a charge for breach of contract for $1343.34. This is strange since we still have their service until the end of July.

      My experience with them has been terrible. I thought we were on month to month billing but they claim my secretary, who no longer works for the company, renewed the contract. This company has numerous complaints for shady business practice and their contract and renewal policies are bordering on criminal.

      We are currently locked into a contract with Republic but have had terrible customer service from them. We have had mulitple missed pick***. Although when caught, they have issued credits, the will not allow me to speak to anyone higher than my account manager. They insist they have to contact the higher *** and someone will get back to me. I have asked to be let out of contract given that in the last 30 days, we have only been serviced 5 of the 12 times we were suppose to. The first response was that if we had four missed pick ***, they would let us out of contract. Once i had proof. Ive been told by an account manager and a customer service *** that we are stuck and theres nothing we can do even though we arent being sercvied. The most recent customer service *** told me that even if we get a lawyer, this corporation is so big with so much money that there is nothing we can do. I called the corporate number and it routes back to the general customer service number. They insist there is nothing or no one I can talk to to resolve this.

      I have contracted with Republic Services for several years now for once a week pick-*** of one 95/96 gallon trash container and one 95/96 gallon recycle container. As per the quarterly invoices, these pick-*** are stated as "1 Lift Per Week." My designated pick-up day is Friday for both containers and I have experienced 4 missed pick-*** of my recycle container on 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, and 6/6 within the quarter 4/1-6/30/2025. I filed on-line reports of missed pick*** with Republic and received email confirmation that they had received my report. In all cases, the missed service was not completed until Monday (or Tuesday in one case) of the following week which is not in line with the contract expectation on the quarterly invoices. I contacted the Republic corporate offices to request a credit for the missed services but was told, in no uncertain terms, that such credit would not be granted since ultimately the missed service was made up, even though it was not within the weekly expected pick-up dates. If this had happened once, that would be one thing but the fact that it has occurred 4 times is more than unacceptable business practice. If there are scheduling or other problems within the Republic system that caused these repeated problems, the burden and ultimately the cost of those problems should not be borne by the customer. Note too, that if I had not taken the time to report the missed pick-up (as was the case for some of my neighbors), then there would NOT have been any resolution for the missed pick-***, meaning that the onus for receiving remedy for missed service is on the customer as was confirmed in a conversation with a Republic service person who was sent out to complete such remedies (i.e if you don't report a missed pick-up, they will not make up the missed service, even if your recycle container is still sitting out at the curb). The credit I am requesting is detailed in the attachment. While perhaps not significant, it's the principal of the matter.

      I canceled the trash serviceon 4-29-2025 still got billed from republic services for the last 3months I would like to resolve this issue they been told to pick up there dumpster for the last three months there still coming and dumping a empty dumpster still charging me I've tried to contact them number of times with no results

      I want to cancel my service, they will not answer my calls to cancel it. Called 8 times, even gave number for a return call n no one will call me back. I don't know what to do.
