This account was acquired through a transition from one company to Republic Services. This was not a choice of my own, but rather St. Louis County. I have had 2 receptacles at the curb since before this company took over in April and they have always picked up both recepticles.Suddenly on Friday 7/15/22, they have decided not to pick up the second recepticle. I called customer service and spoke to 4 people to no avail. They want me to purchase/rent another Republic container in order for them to pick up a secomd container. This is a multi-billion dolllar company according to their website so this act of trying to squeeze every dollar from the customer needs to stop.I only want then to pick up the trash that is at the curb every Friday, as they the other company has done in the past. There has been many complaints about the service on an app called NEXT DOOR, and I can see why.Business Response

We are operating under a municipal contract that the county has written that requires a maximum of one company owned cart for Trash, one company owned cart for recycle and in addition we will pickup up to 10 bags of yard waste that can be in a personal cart or combination of carts. The contract states that we are to provide additional containers upon request for a fee. In addition we provide the residents 2 bulk item pickups per month serviced on their last service day of the month. Our goal is to take of our customers as well as follow our the contracts which we have agreed to. I reached out to Republic Services for a quote for our business. I was told $127.25 for the service (6yd w/ once a week dump) and a delivery fee of $219.00 w/ a $54.75 discount. I was sent over a contract to sign and went over every single monetary figure and term on the document with the salesman. I was told there were no there fees and there were none written out on the contract. The dumpster was delivered on 6/6 and the first dump was scheduled for 6/9. On 6/9 the driver refused to drive down the alley to reach the dumpster, citing he would hit something. We brought the dumpster to the front of the building with a skid steer and he dumped it there. I immediately called it in. The next week dump 6/16, we were missed completely. Reported the missed dump and was sent a reschedule of Monday 6/20. 6/20 rescheduled dump was missed as well, but they dump our neighbor who is their customer, but was not his dump day. I received a **** for $424.57 that week. Called into Republic to inquire about amount billed. Was told I signed a contract with a admin fee and fuel/recovery fees, that were on the proposal. Come to find out, I NEVER got the proposal with the charge breakdown. 6/22 cancelled service because Republic breached. I paid the delivery charge and the 2 dumps that I agreed to for $227.61. Told them to come get the dumper, which they did on 6/29. They are still trying to charge me $159.66 for who knows what. NO ONE will call me or return my call to speak to me after multiple requests. I am left to emailing with the salesman who pulled a bait and switch with the contract. I told him to pay the $159.66 because he lied and caused all this mess. I paid for the service I received. I have all the records and email documentation to prove that ********************* scammed me into a contract, that the account manager *************************** can't be bothered to deal with this and that Republic breached the agreement from the start. **Account Credited for $159.66 on 7/12/22**Business Response

Since ****, Republic Services has been my trash hauler. This year a driver shortage has affected recycling pickups. My last recycling pick up was on May 27, six weeks ago. I have called the company several times and special recycling pickups were scheduled but never acted on.On July 7, I canceled service but must use Republic until the end of July. Recently they increased our rates too. It takes gall to charge people more for unacceptable/poor service. Yesterday, my recycling wasnt picked up again. The bin is filled to the top. Im in my mid-60s, live on a hill, and can barely move the bin.Please help me end my contract early so my new trash hauler can pick up my recycling. Received a **** for grass pickup June 15, 2022. We haven't had grass pickup since 2021. (we have a lawn service for our lawn) I called Republic when I received the invoice and spoke with ***** and Aona. They understood it was in error and gave me a cancellation number of ********* and told me they would correct the ****. July 15 we received a phone call about an overdue ****. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the company said they would informm the driver of the garbage truck not to come pick up the garbage before 7 am. This has not been resolved. This morning July 18th, the driver came at 5:35 am right next to residences. I have filed complaints directly with the business as well as on this website and still they are not willing to resolve this issue.Business Response

they have not picked up trash in a timely manner for over 2 years. I dont think they have ever come on the scheduled day, if at all. Right now there is a trash bag out front of my house that has been there since last Wednesday. ( It is sunday so over 10 days ) I get staffing issues and we have been more than patient but this is it. I want my money back and I will be switching. Its a shame because the guys who came around actually used to be really cool so we stuck it out. I have called them quite a few times in the last few months for missed trash pick *** and I have called them the last three weeks in a row two to three times a week and getting told they will pick it up the next day and not show up so they didn't pick our trash up for three weeks straight and now I get a **** from them saying we owe ****** cents for their services and on top of that they raised our **** 30 dollars and I don't think I should have to pay that as far as I'm concerned they can take their trash can back. Three weeks ago I set up new service with Republic and my trash has yet to be picked up. Each time I call a "Local" number, I am connected with someone in another state. They say, I will send a note to the local office or we will reschedule for the missed pick up and the trash is never picked up. I need trash service, I just need Republic to pick it up as promised. I would love a call back from the "local office" to determine the issue and get it rectified. Speaking to someone who is not local who will only "send a note to the local office" with no follow-up, get nothing rectified. I would also like a billing adjustment for the weeks that have not been picked up.Business Response

Our township requires homeowners to provide their own trash removal company and our chosen provider is Republic Trash Service. We pay for once a week trash removal and recycling. The provider is scheduled to come every Thursday for both services. For a number of months now, we have either been picked up a day later or have been skipped altogether. Typically with a phone call, we are able to have the issue resolved, however recently this is not the case. We have not had service in over 2 weeks. Trash is piling up and Republic has disregarded my calls. I have received one credit of $5.04, but I am now expecting a full credit for the billing cycle we recently paid for as they have provided the worst service we have experienced with them. A picture is attached to show the pile of trash that we now have at our curb that needs to be removed immediately.Business Response
