5 starsLast summer, we were approached by ***** from Our World Energy. He told us about the company and what they offer in terms of electricity produced via solar panels. He was very kind, very patient and more than willing to answer any questions we had without the slightest hint of annoyance. By the end of the visit, our dream of getting power from solar panels had entered the realm of reality as we awaited installation later that month. All of the things he discussed with us were plainly written in the contract, no fine print to try and obscure terms. We only had to wait for the process to run it's course...Before installation, a study of the roof's sun exposure was done and we were introduced to our project point person, *****. She kept us up to date as the project moved through each step. Approval for the placement of the panels and other elements of the system was asked for before anything was installed. So we felt more confident about going forward with the installation. BE WARNED! This process takes time and you must be patient. There are hoops they must jump through to get the system approved by both the utility and the city. They handle everything on that end and will update you as soon as they can, don't get discouraged!We finally got through the long installation/inspection process and we couldn't be happier with what Our World Energy has done for us. Our bills dropped as promised and the system is producing plenty of electricity for us to use, as promised! Not only will we not see those insanely high utility bills again, but the system and our roof is under warranty from Our World Energy. We were nervous at times but the wait was completely worth it. We have heard of the horror stories when it comes to solar power installations but this company is NOT one of them. We would highly recommend this company for powering your home through solar and we feel amazing for having done so for our home! Give them a call, see what they can do for you!Review fromHenrietta C

Absolutely awful! The sales rep Jennifer Garcia - promised the world and strung us along, after we wanted to cancel, for more than 6 months; she promised to reimburse electric bills for those delays and did not. The project coordinator - Julianne - had no idea what was going on - and rarely responded. Delay after delay. Contractors showed up at 8pm or not at all, over and over. The unit popped breakers for a couple months and roof tiles are cracked; awaiting repair currently. We started with this company in July 2024!Our World Energy LLC

It took a little longer than it should have to put *********** in because I made a mistake on some electrical outlets. I thought I had but I didnt for an RV but once we got it figured out and straightened out it took really no time to have everything done. Everybody from Our World Energy is very thoughtful and polite. Eds in ******* was very helpful to me when my Solar was ready to be turned on. She sent me pictures of that. There may be two electrical boxes and to turn the switches on. It was easy to find the two electrical boxes, one by the inverters and then the main power switch just passed the electrical meter. It probably took me two minutes to turn my power on works great its working now.Our World Energy LLC

1 starIf you are thinking about solar panels, DO NOT USE Our World Energy for installation! After a couple of years of research we decided that solar panels were a good investment for us and we decided to go with Our World Energy for installation. We signed paperwork November of 2024 and *** approved the application in December 2024 and ***** was assigned as our project coordinator/manager. They were quick to install solar panels and the battery storage system, but after that there has been nothing but delay after delay! The first delay was in trenching for the new electrical panel and electrical lines. We were given a date in January, but that date came and went without any activity or notice from ***** as to why it was not done. When I contacted ***** to get the status on the trenching she blamed it on *** scheduling changes but did not seem to make an effort to reschedule. We were finally given a new date in March (a full 2 months after the original date) after several text messages to remind her we were still waiting for a new date. In the meantime, it was necessary for the utilities locator company to come out again to mark other utility lines. Trenching was finally done, but opps, they did not follow the *** plans and when it came time to install electrical lines everything came to another halt! They had to wait until *** redesigned their plans to accommodate the trench that was dug in the wrong place. It seems like each delay has extended the timeline by another 3 to 4 weeks at a minimum. The final county inspection was 10 days agothe system passed! Its been over 6 months since we signed the contract with Our World Energy and not quite 6 months since *** approved the plans and WE STILL DONT HAVE WORKING SOLAR PANELS! We have tried to be patient but its hard when we ask about the delays and all we get from Our World Energy is lip service and blaming *** for scheduling delays. Come on Our World Energy, lets get this project finishedplease!
