This is for the *** on ***************** in *********. I have cancelled my private training and have called the manager TWICE and have been time that on my profile I am no longer registered. This was 2 months ago. Yet I am still getting charged $76 a month even though it has already been a month since Ive cancelled so I shouldnt be getting charged anymore but it is still happening. I have no idea what to do anymore because if I call again I will just be told the same thing about how Im no longer on the private training yet I am still getting charged for it. It feels like they lie every time I call to get me to stop calling only for me to get charged $76 the next 2 weeks.EOS Fitness

1 starThis is more specific to the childcare area at this facility. I've been going here just about 2.5 months. This email was initially sent in response to a poorly handled hand, foot and mouth disease exposure." I noticed that the daycare team may need some training on communication. As I watch these kids while working out to ensure my child is keeping others safe as well as the others keeping him safe, here is what I saw. One designated person with the infants, laying down in the same area on their back resting while the infant is in a rocker and and not facing them. On occasion kids running getting riled up without an adult to help diffuse and calm a situation before one were to occur. Some kids physically tackling one of the daycare attendants all at the same time, playfully but, again how do we expect our children to follow rules when touching bodies has exceptions? I notice the daycare attendants are young and some are rude to some parents and their kids. One in particular tries to speak with entitlement and with a condescending tone. On one occasion, one blocked my child, with their chair from coming out of the movie room. This caused him to bump his head while under the chair. These rooms are designed for areas so children may roam around and play, not to seclude and enprison them all together, he's 3. They also didn't own up to it and I unfortunately, decided to let it go since my little one ended up being ok. I watched this all on the camera but fear of retaliation I decided to let it go. By the way access to camera is on channel 78 for machines with tvs. Here are their rules on behavior, all kids 2 and up if they hit or push get a strike, 3 strikes, no matter the amount of time between each is a 2 week suspension. 4th strike is a 6 month suspension. So, if you are a parent and you going to the gym depends on child care then, you are out of luck. They punish you for a toddlers impulse behaviors whether 2, 3, or 4. I went to EOS twice on a guest pass with a friend. This was my first time ever going to a gym. I was contacted by EOS about an open house style event to come and see the gym shortly after my first time going. When I came by for the event I did not get to see any of facility before being sat down and pitched on membership. I was looking for something short term and communicated this as I am getting ready to move for school. When talking about my options I was told I would pay $1 that day and $9.99 a month and could cancel anytime. I specifically asked if there would be a cancelation charge or any other charges and I was assured there wasn't. Upon canceling my membership I was told i woukd be charged $63 for the next month since it wasn't within 30 days though I wasnt ever informed of this. This feels like false representation as I was told I would only need to worry about the first month and have an opportunity to try it out and not have to continue with the membership when I move.EOS Fitness

I won a gift certificate for a free year membership through a fundraising auction at my daughters school. I went in around May 30th, **** to set up the account and gave them the gift certificate. I then started getting calls of owing $. I had to call the club at least 20+ times to finally get it resolved and it took all the way until the end of July/beginning of August 2021 to get it resolved. The manager and I believe district manager are the ones who took care of it. My free year was supposed to start from that point since Id not been able to use the club during that time since things didnt get set up originally. I now get notified that Ive been getting charged since June and have to give 30 days notice. I have a year notice as when I set it up I mentioned I only wanted the account for the length of the certificate of 1 year which they said was fine and I didnt need to give a card or anything because it was noted to cancel at the year ****. Now Im told I owe $89.37 plus another $19.99 which is 3 months plus a $45 annual fee. This is unacceptable misleading behavior. Ive never submitted a BBB complaint but this entire situation has been handled very poorly and I feel lied to. I still have 3 family members going there and now want then to all cancel which they are considering due to whats gone on. On top of it I never have even stepped foot in the club minus May 2021 when originally attempted to sign up. My son doesnt even pay $19.99/month so no clue where that amount even came from. All my family pays $9.99/month. I tried to resolve through the customer service number and the lady was rude and did not even try to understand what I was explaining. *** just kept telling me how much I owed. *** knew I wanted to cancel and didnt offer. I had to demand her to as she tried to get off the phone. Horrible customer service and embarrassing she is one of their reps. *** could have taken more action and care to help fix the issue.EOS Fitness

I had recently signed up for EOS Fitness on **************************** in ******** because they had a promotion going on for a free month trial. When I was signing up, the manager I was speaking to mentioned how they offered personal training. I was unsure about it, but ***** said to try it out and assured me I could cancel it after the first session if I didnt want to continue. So after I tried it out I went to ***** to cancel it, he said he would freeze it. I repeatedly said I wanted to cancel it and not freeze it. Come to find out they had charged me $88 when I didnt want to use this service to begin with. So not only did they disregard my request to cancel, they didnt even freeze it when they said they would. I had called them again and they said I had to talk to ***** and that they would call me back. Im still waiting to hear from them, but this establishment should be charged for false representation and for taking money without authorization from their customers.EOS Fitness

I canceled my membership today because I was charged $34.99 for late fee. Never had a problem before just so happens that my payday was the day after they charged my card. Drove over after work to cancel my membership and I asked to speak to the manager ******** he had hickeys all over his neck and he was a little rude.. I later understood that I'd be charged another month of membership fees due to their 30-day cancellation policy.. I'm thoroughly disgusted with EOS gym their customer service is lousy and I will never use their facilities again.. be aware of this sneaky way to make profits off of late fees.EOS Fitness

Terrible people. They pressure you into signing a personal training contract and lie to you about what it entails. They refuse to do customer service. They dont call back for days if at all. Avoid this gym like the plague. Go to Vasa instead.EOS Fitness

I was told I would get a free training session, I would only be charged $19 and I would get my money back if I didnt like it. My first session was going to be 8/3/2022, after thinking about it I wanted to cancel the session because I knew I wasnt going to go so I go today 7/29 trying to cancel and the Fitness manager told me I wouldnt be able to because I signed an agreement. To which I said yes I did but the guy said it would be free and if I didnt like it I would be able to cancel. He then said no you agreed to 6 months and cant cancel anymore you have a 3 grace ****** I said well the guy told me I would be able to cancel Wednesday if I didnt like the session and now Im fighting it with them tomorrow they are scammers I really dont want to cancel my membership I just got it Monday 7/25 but ughhh thats too much money on top of it he didnt tell me what the payments would be or how long the term was or when they would be due ughhhhhhEOS Fitness

I went to EOS while caring for my mother who was terminally ill. I was looking for a short term membership. I talked with an individual who assured me I could pay $1 down and $9.99 a month and could cancel anytime. I specifically asked if there would be a cancelation charge or any other charges and I was assured there wasn't. Upon canceling my membership I received notice that I was being charged a $54.00 yearly fee. I talked to the manager who basically said, "too bad you signed the contract". When I explained the circumstances I got the same response. I don't think I have been so lied to by a company before. I really feel they need to be investigated for false representation.EOS Fitness

My wife and I started at EOS fitness on June 25th. While we were signing up we talked to the training manager and we told him it was on the fence about signing, he came back and stated we will give you and your wife 4 training for $20. 00 and after we did the 4 training, we have decided not to go through with the training. With in the 4 times going EOS has pulled out $144 every 2 weeks from are account. We have them a letter stating we are giving our 30 notice to cancel the whole membership. They told me it would be 1-2 days before it is canceled. This is the 3 rd day and I tried to call the training manager that I gave the letter to and I can not get ahold of him , I called 3 times just today and left messages and kept getting he is with a new customer. He cant even call for a few minutes just for an update. The customer service is really bad When you need something but they will take you to the cleaners if you dont pay attentionEOS Fitness
