      HORRIBLE! Zero stars if possible! It only took 5 months to see whats going on here. Charging co-pays for Tele-med visits when my ins says there isnt any but getting a hold of someone at Lifestance billing to correct said issue is a nightmare of promised nonexistent return phone calls from the back that took 3 months of call my backs and when I got a hold of someone in the front they tried to gaslight with some out of nowhere excuse with another promise of a call back from the back when that NEVER happens. Another time I was told from up front to upload an entire months bank statement to prove I made a co-pay because showing the office my banking app in person that payment was made and that that they could literally photo copy my transaction on the app was not good enough. They are not a mortgage lender and none of their business how much direct deposits, how much goes to savings, and bills are and since they couldnt get an uploaded bank statement from me they decided to double dip and go to the ins company for it the co-pay which they saw the ** and bounced that back too! I became a client back in May and it has proven counterproductive for all 5 months before I canceled my last appt months ago til I got a promised billing call to which I never received one! Im done and its their decision, not mine! If any of this billin information is false its because THE NONEXISTENT BACK NEVER CALLED! THATS ON YOU!

      BUYER BEWARE!life stance will overcharge you above and beyond the price they charge your health insurance company. They will charge $50+ FEES If you are on time for an in person appointment but due to chronic shortness of staff they cant check you in for your appointments until 1+ minutes past your scheduled appointment time. Lifestance will add phantom or mystery fees to your Bill & not explain why, & refuse to refund the money spent.LIFESTANCE is being sued by multiple law firms across the ********* BEWARE!!!!

      I love my doctor but life stance health is the absolute worst company to ever have to deal with. Im honestly contemplating quitting my medication just so I dont have to deal with this company. The fact that i cant get in contact with my actual doctors office is ridiculous. Im told to put a note in the patient portal or transferred between several call centers and told well send them a message. There is no way to actually contact the office my doctor is located at. Absolutely ridiculous.

      When I initially set up my appointment with LifeStance.. they told me that my medical insurance would cover the full cost of my therapy appointments. After a couple of sessions. They called me and told me that I had been billed and that I owed them $1080.00. They then told me that was the part my Insurance did not cover. The money loss is their responsibility obviously. Yet, its one year later and they are still trying to get me to pay this. If you are thinking of using them I highly recommend that you get the coverage/cost in writing as they are not to be trusted.

      This company utilizes weaponized incompetence regarding ethical billing practices. I recently transitioned insurance providers and when I notified LifeStance, I was suddenly informed that I had a large balance on my account which had accumulated over the past 6 months. I was never notified about the accumulating balance and it had not been displayed on my account dashboard until months after these charges were amassed. In August, I informed LifeStance that I had switched health insurance, and the charges for some of the sessions should be removed since my new insurance unequivocally covers mental health services. I was told in September that the insurance information had been properly updated. It was not, and a charge was added to my account for a session later that month. When I reached out regarding the discrepancy, I was told that the insurance information had never been updated on their end so I needed to resubmit the information and their benefits team would rectify. I provided the information, but through October they had still not corrected the issue. In order to ensure continuity of care, I paid a deposit to establish a payment plan for the balance since there is a threshold in order to set new appointments. At the appointment, my practitioner never showed, and when I contacted LifeStance regarding the unprofessionalism, I was told that the appointment had been canceled. I had received absolutely no notification of this fact whatsoever. Additionally, the benefits department still had not updated my insurance after almost 2 months. In November, I finally contacted someone at headquarters and updated my insurance and established my payment plan and clarified that if my account balance reduced, the corresponding monthly payments would too. My insurance information was finally rectified and my balance lowered accordingly, however, in December, they overcharged me for the first monthly payment based on the previously higher amount. An insane lack of competence.

      They cancelled my appointment with 4 hours notice, then told me that their next available appointment was in 2 months. This didn't work for me because they were taking over ********************* and I based my refills on this appointment. I'd be charged if I did this to them and they just get away with it? They're sorry though. As long as they're sorry.

      I have used Lifestance for a few years. Something has changed. I am only able to reach my provider via email. The website says to call for immediate assistance. All they will tell me is that I can only reach my provider via email and that she has 48 hours to respond. There is no immediate assistance. They have set the bar for patient care very low. I have been unable to get help with prescription issues. I am going to change providers. I need someone that I can reach between appointments. I take some medications that can't just be stopped because they can't be bothered to send a refill. I have no issues with my provider during scheduled appointments. The problem seems to be with Lifestance policies and staffing levels. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

      Avoid this Company I started here a few weeks ago and was given a therapist according to my health insurance when I looked at my claims, all the visits have been denied Theres no getting in touch with a person in this place and nobody returns your calls or follows up. Ive literally sent over 50 messages in my patient portal not to mention phone calls and emails that took hours and hours of my time.Every time I finally got through I had a different answer and was told not to worry and it was just a matter of how it was submitted now its two months later and Im still getting denied Im so frustrated because theres not a direct number they assured me before I even began that the doctor was in network. Even the doctor herself told me not to worry.Ive spent weeks and weeks trying to get this resolved and still not one person followed up or helped me out I cannot recommend this place at all. Please find somewhere else.

      My child needed a letter with his ADHD diagnosis and I had to follow up with them multiple times by phone, by app, and then during the telehealth appt. They still ended up sending the letter without the *** code after so many requests. They don't even bother to follow up and take care of it. This is an example how clinics and schools fail kids with disabilities. I still haven't heard back from anyone.

      Terrible! Do not go here for your mental health needs, it will not help you in the long run because they are predatory. They are not submitting claims to insurance despite us requesting them to do so. They do not answer your calls, follow up on messages, or complete actions in time frame they committed to.
