I have had an outstanding experience with LifeStance Health Services. After 2+ years of retirement, I had inadvisably taken myself off some medication I had been on for over a decade, and my mental health was suffering. I live in a relatively small town and mental health services aren't as available as they are in cities, so when I received a letter from my insurance company recommending LifeStance, I decided to try it. My first appointment was with someone who could help me get my medication sorted out and after several sessions, we have come to a very satisfactory solution which takes into account my desires to stay away from certain medications while still effectively addressing my needs. Early meetings were once weekly and have now dropped to once monthly as my medication is working and stabilized. My second experience has been with a therapist to augment the medication route, and I can't be happier. The therapist assigned to me is a fantastic fit. I can relate with her on several levels and share some common interests. She is very patient and willing to listen and understand when unfamiliar with my activities. She helped me with a Behavioral ******************* Planning worksheet which helps keep me accountable and gives me insight into where I need to focus more.I look forward to our weekly sessions. With help from the two individuals I am working with, I feel much more hopeful and productive. I know I will get more out of the sessions if I apply myself to doing what is needed, and that has proven to be true. I highly recommend LifeStance Health Services -- I hope you will give them a chance and put in the effort, and you may also receive good results.LifeStance Health

They have been charging me $100 a month every month for a year for appointments I did not schedule and I have asked them to cancel all appointments on three seperate occasions. They have elected to continue billing me. I have elected to take this to court if they continue.LifeStance Health

It is a diabolical company that deliberately removed the option from its website to cancel or reschedule appointments (forcing you to **** through their phone menu) so that patients get stuck with exorbitant cancelation fees when they can't cancel within the 48 hours time period. Id give 0 stars if I could. My therapist is great, but the customer service is awful and so unprofessional. They now have a new cancellation policy where you must cancel any upcoming appt 48 BUSINESS hours before the appt is set to begin. Thats unrealistic and ridiculous. I spoke with their CS **** ******* *., about simply rescheduling my appt. Not only was she completely rude, she was wrong to charge me a cancellation fee for simply attempting to reschedule my appt. I dont think I want to deal with Lifestance anymore. Dealing with her put such a bad taste in my mouth.LifeStance Health

Lifestance deletes negative reviews. I left a review simply stating to go check their BBB page before booking. I know they did this because *** reviewed from two different ************* fiancs ****** account does not show my reviews. This business is, in my opinion, not ethical. They provide online solutions for scheduling, but not for cancelling appointments. Then they do not provide a way to cancel appointments on the weekend via ANY avenue, but charge you $75 for not cancelling within 48 hours even if there is no ability for you to do so (Appointment is on Monday or Tuesday). They also will not consider a message sent from their patient portal 72 hours in advance to be a valid cancellation, nor do they respond to said messages (as of many days later).They also charge exceptionally high amounts for testing, psychiatric evaluations, and counseling when compared to other providers I have compared to after the fact.Very much a poor experience, and they provide no recourse for the above issues with scheduling. I will not be utilizing their services again and I highly recommend that others stay far away from this business as they are setup to prioritize money over your health all day.LifeStance Health

Just had to cancel an appointment that I had for the next day. They charged me $100 because they have a policy of 48 hours before to cancel. That is the most ridiculous policy Ive ever heard of and seems to only serve to get more money out of customers. I wish I could give them 0 stars.LifeStance Health

Esta empresa es la peor para buscar ayuda. Yo no estoy supuesta a pagar nada pues mi patrono lo pagara todo a trave de programa de ayuda al empleado. Los llamo para una cita, y comienzo la terapia virtual, y comienzan a facturarme, y amenazndome con enviarme a collections, y los llamo y les explico y nadie sabe nada, en su departamento de facturacin nadie nunca sabe nada, ya estaba yo peor de cuando comenc, con el desespero comet el error de enviarles mi tarjeta de seguro mdico, y finalmente los visite en la oficina para ver si en persona alguien me podia ayudar, me indico que s, etc., y ahora resulta que el programa de ayuda al empleados ya les pago, y ahora le estn facturando al seguro mdico, o sea cobrando doble y no conforme con eso, me estn cobrando deducible de mi seguro mdico.Que hago? quien me puede ayudar? tendre que contratar un abogado? **** alguna entidad privada o gubernamental que haga algo para que esta empresa deje de hacernos fraude?LifeStance Health

They take your money and they think their job is done. they don't care about anything but money. You can't get refills or anything if you can deal with their wait time on phone from lazy staff do your self a favor and go somewhere else. This place is a ripoffLifeStance Health

I attempted suicide and was released from the hospital 2 days ago. I finally got insurance after over a year. I have a balance with Life Stance from 2 years ago and they refused to see me without making payment arrangements first. I am about to lose my home and my car. Im not sure why you are supposed to reach out for help having insurance if they refuse to see you without making payment first. Im ok for the moment but it was really a set back on trying to get myself the care that I need. I spent 5 hours looking for someone to help and apparently everyone works for them. Seems to only be about money and and if you cant pay a past due balance you are left to figure it out on your own. If I didnt have someone who loves me and is there for me, I would have probably done something stupid today. You should have to beg for help!LifeStance Health
