I own a copy of Quickbooks and it is current. My computer was hit by lightning, so I need to reinstall this on my new computer. Since it has been an online purchase, Quickbooks should send me the file so I can download it on my computer as it was. The support unit is trying to scam me by charging about $3000 to upload it. They try to tell me they have to fix my files. Quickbooks was working fine before getting struck by lightning. Quickbooks and Intuit are crooks, but once you have invested into their software it's hard to get away from them.Initial Complaint

Thank you for listening. I spent the time to fill out a survey for Intuit and they promised me $20 gift card which i never received. I have emailed them multiple times and still no luck. They have to honor their promise otherwise it is false advertising. Please help! I have attached a picture of my survey confirmation. ************ ****Initial Complaint

I pay monthly for quickbooks on 4/24/24 my account got hacked I was locked out for 5 days in those 5 days I spent over 15 hours on the phone with quickbooks customer service which was no help no one knew anything over 10 different people I talked to and no one could help. Finally my accountant was able to get me back in (no thanks to anyone from quickbooks) then once back in I noticed my invoices were cashed out and quickbooks took the $5,000 from my account and charged me almost $300 in transfer fees! Ive called them again multiple time and nothing no one has confirmed I will get that money back or even cares enough to answer a email. As many small businesses use them this is extremely unprofessional and wrong. As I looked into it it seems like this is a common thing and they deal with the same thing I am with no help or support from quickbooks.Initial Complaint

Date April 2024 We are unable to use the Quickbooks online product my client paid for because we cant log in to the account and no one will assist us.I have been unable to change the old verification phone number to login to my clients account for weeks. The client completed the verification steps to change it weeks ago and we still cant get in because it continues to try to verify using the old number even after we tell it to use different information to verify the account. I have contacted customer **********************, and the account manager multiple times via email and phone but get no assistance. I asked the account manager to escalate our service request and she said wed have a response in 24 to 48 hours. Its been 4 days with no resolution. I called her back after the 48 hours but she never returned my call.Initial Complaint

Quickbooks kept $15,300 in seven different transactions from customers on my Quickbooks account after they were alerted that someone got into my account and changed banking information. After notifying them about my account they released all $15,300 into the newly created bank account that was fraud. They admitted multiple times this was an error but they have yet to change any of the bank account information online back to our account. We have worked almost two years on this with multiple forms of documentation that we can send someone to look at. We have every single document that is needed to show someone that they deposited the money into the wrong account after it was suppose to be held and released into the correct account. This is absolute fraud what quickbooks has done to our company. We just want our money back. I would be happy to go over multiple documents with the right person from Quickbooks. We were suppose to get a call from the fraud department on multiple occasions. We have spent 100s of hours on the phone working on this. All we want is our money released to our bank account.Initial Complaint

My construction company invoiced a customer on 3/14/24 through ********************, which the customer paid the same day. The funds were taken from the customers bank account on the same day, however, I did not receive the funds. I was notified that the funds were "on hold" and that QuickBooks needed more information to verify my account. Over the next week, I provided all information that was requested on 3 separate occasions- business license, proof of address, phone bill and a photo of my driver's license. They told me that the funds would be released within 2 business days, however, on 3/22 I received an email that my payment account was closed with zero explanation of why and that my funds would be released within 5 business days. I have continuously followed up with no answers of why the funds are still being held and every person I talk to cannot provide an explanation.Initial Complaint

I used Quickbooks to charge my tenant rent and repayment for a loan. My tenant moved out, without notice, and filed a dispute with her bank for my charges (which she agreed to pay). Because of the dispute, Quickbooks wants to take the money back from me to reissue to my tenant. I filed a dispute with my bank regarding the issue and was given my money back that Quickbooks originally took. Quickbooks is now demanding this money from me that I DO NOT owe. They should go after the tenant that attempted to defraud me.Initial Complaint

We have 4 separate business entities operating in Quickbooks online and there is one primary, master email address attached to all 4. The primary emails was kicked off all accounts December 2023, and this issue was never resolved - I got tired of calling everyday and spending over an hour on the phone with no resolution. Fast forward to 3/31/24 and one of our business' QuickBooks account has been cancelled, but we paid for the yearly subscription starting 10/28/23, so it should not have been cancelled. I can't login with the primary email to resubscribe to reactivate the account. I have called every single day since 3/31/24 to get this fixed and keep getting the run around. I just need our account up and running so we can send invoices and pay bills. Ready to move all accounts to another platform - customer service is AWFUL.Initial Complaint

Complaint Against QuickBooks Customer ******************** I am writing to file a complaint against QuickBooks regarding the quality of customer ********************** provided. On March 16th, 2024 I contacted QuickBooks customer ********************** at ************ seeking assistance as to how to code contractor expenses. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely frustrating and unproductive.Despite spending approximately 30 minutes on the call, the representative I spoke with appeared to be poorly trained and unable to provide answers to simple questions. The representative seemed unfamiliar with basic troubleshooting steps and was unable to address my concerns effectively.I expect a higher standard of service from a company of QuickBooks' reputation and would like to request that my inquiry be escalated to a more competent support representative for resolution who can effectively address my inquiry and provide me with basic assistance. Additionally, I would appreciate it if QuickBooks could review its customer ********************** training and protocols to ensure that other customers do not have to endure a similar experience in the future.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
