I would avoid this business at ALL costs! First let me start by saying i never post personal feelings and i also would never post an issue that only relates to me. i post reviews when it affects ALL and ANY of the community. That being said, i purchased 4 new tires. They didnt have the ******** brand I wanted, but personnel recommended what they had in stock, and while it was a brand i had never heard of, he reassured me they come with a 55k mile warranty. I said ok sold. I only put about 35k miles on tires and they are worn to the nub and need replacing. I dont speed, i always rotate tires and there is NO reason to wear out this fast, unless they are just cheap tires. In any case, i contacted DT and they told me they dont care about customer service by their answer. Thats an estimate. I said no no no, i was told its a warranty, otherwise how broad is that, you could apply that theory with any item. Thats the reason some tires have a 35k or 45k or 55k warranty! Now if it had been that i drove 50k i would not be complaining because the extra 5k could be considered an estiomate, but to barely travel half the distance...thats just a scam! This place has terrible customer service, complete crooks and liars to boot! There is nothing worse than telling a customer one thing while you are trying to get their business, then lie later on when it turns out you are not making money off the customer. I wasnt even asking for money back, or something free, i just asked for what ANYONE would want, pro-rate it based on the warranty and apply that amount to the purchase of 4 new tires. They are such crooks, they dont even care about future business, thats obvious, they are just so greedy they would rather lose business and kept scamming people. I may also understand if they said my tires dont need replacing, but there is nothing more deceitful than a business that points out a problem, one they caused, then denies responsibility!Discount Tire

1 starI attempted to have Discount Tire repair a virtually NEW tire which had a slow leak. I was told the leak was 'unrepairable' and 'encouraged to buy 4 tires....at nearly $200 each. I explained that this was unacceptable and that I believed it WAS repairable. I have done so in the past myself....once in the parking lot of this store!!! I arrived to find them closed. I carry a repair kit always and ended up repairing the tire IN THEIR PARKING LOT. It lasted the life of the tire. This SAME repair could have been done with the tire I needed repaired but, I was given an education--that I didn't want nor need--about tire repair complete with visual aids....which I didn't care for. Each person I spoke with was well trained to 'suggest' or 'recommend' but not force any decision....with subtle scares and hand-washing; 'You can go to someone else who will do the repairs you're asking for!!! I hesitated to go to Discount Tires at all having received a list of companies which support Project 2025. ****, the manager I last spoke with told me he had no knowledge of Project 2025; that it was "above my pay grade!" I realized any further discussion was futile and left. I should have trusted my gut and boycotted Discount Tires....which, after many years of loyal purchases, I will do. *** ******, here I come!!! Extremely disappointed in service was told tires would be in same day which turned into a whole day debacle. Put over 50% down went to lunch came back tires still work there waited around another hour still weren't there nobody knew where the truck was eventually somebody said well they're on a route and we got a few more stops ahead of you. After purchasing over $2,000 worth of tires first thing in the morning and not being told that hey we're going to put them on a route and you're the last on the route so you're going to have to wait around all day is absolutely unacceptable you have a paying customer who just spent over $2,000 on tires and you couldn't take care of them no sorry no apology not even a hey can I just discount you a little bit for your trouble nope let's just go ahead and reschedule you for a very inconvenient time the next day and ruin another day will never ever be back. They tripped my studs and didnt notify me. I had to find out on my own time which caused me to be late to work and receive a write up. They didnt want to work with me to get this situation involved that wouldve compensated me for my time and the money lost and spent.Discount Tire

I bought tires from them and they flew out of my car. I ended paying $3000 and had to tow the car. Did everything i could if i can reclaim the money i have lost to them. or if they could put new tires in, but no avail, i had to go through my insurance company to file a claim but they could not do anything. they told i had to file a claim but nothing happened and we werent able to do it for some reason.Discount Tire

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS (********** and *********)I made an appointment in person and told the salesman I had one tire pressure monitor sensor (TPMS) malfunction. He priced one **** about $62 for parts and labor. I had all 5 tires including spare replaced in 2023, as well as 3 of the 5 TPMS sensors at the same location at the cost of about $1600.I went for my appointment the next day and I specifically told the sales person that I only needed one sensor and that the spare tire sensor was not faulty. He went to the vehicle. Checked every sensor and went into my trunk even though I told him the spare sensor in the trunk was working. He told me that I needed 3 sensors. I told him I have a good reading from 4 sensors out of 5 (See image) and that I only needed 1 malfunctioning sensor replaced. He said that I needed to replace 3 sensors because his scan showed I had low battery on three of the sensors and they would need replacement sooner or later.I have been a master ASE technician for 25 years and owned an automotive repair shop (doing something different now). This salesman was trying to sell me sensors perfectly functioning which I didn't need. This is an example of trying to up sell a ticket and raise your ticket average to make more money. At that point, I took my key fob and left.This is the best example of how a business **** s**** up a good loyal customer and lose future business opportunity from him. I will never go to this location or any other Discount Tire location because I simply no longer trust them, and neither should you!!Discount Tire

I recently realized that they use deceptive practices to get customers to buy products that are not needed. A few months ago I purchased tires for my car and sons car. When replacing my sons tires they told me that he needed new rims because they were corroded. I didnt get new rims because I didnt have the money so they said they cleaned them and that the corrosion would come back. So in the month of December my son went back and picked rims and have them put on the car. I forgot to tell him to ask for the rims back because they were the original rims and I worth about $500 each. After leaving discount tire, he went to a mechanic shop that we know and trust and he said that he didnt need new rims because they could be cleaned and sealed. I went back and got the rims put back on the car but of course I had to pay for lug nuts because they claim they had been thrown away. The mechanic took the rims off the next day and saw that there was no corrosion at all. I do not trust them any longer and will find another location to go to for free rotations and balancing. This is not the first time they have been deceptive. They need to be stopped. I get a lot of business, and theres no reason to be dishonest to people and taking their money for product not needed.Discount Tire

They rounded my lug nuts and tried to charge my money. They messed up my car and charged my for lug nuts. I told them no. They keep raining the rates and cost of tires and do crappy work to cars. They charge way to much. They say the tire is this much than have so many fees once you come inDiscount Tire

This location consistently trys to upsell products that are in no way needed, and trys to use scare tactics to sell the stuff.I would avoid this location at all costs.2x I have brought this problem to the managers attention - ****** and each time was very rude . Do what you want but when you get ripped off here dont say ,you weren't warned.The W *********** location is phenomenal drive the extra 10 miles to that location and aave yourself the headache..Discount Tire

"A business cannot legally add on a paid warranty without informing you; it is considered deceptive practice and violates consumer protection laws, requiring businesses to disclose all warranty details, including cost, before a purchase is made."I almost left 2 stars due to some of the employees of Discount Tire being nice enough, but decided against it.Essentially, when I left this morning I felt odd, that I must have misremembered the total cost of my tires being a few hundred above what I was quoted. Silly me. I got home and checked the receipt, and sure enough, $205.52 was added for 4 "certificates for refund, replacement."Not ONCE was this additional charge explained or offered to me, and I never gave consent, written or verbal. Historically, I cannot remember a paid warranty/additional coverage essentially being slipped in without my consent at any place of business.I returned and got that cost refunded. When I asked the manager about why I was never told about these charges being added without my consent, he did not have much to say. It seems he does not care, or pushes employees to sneak the certificates in. OR perhaps that choice comes from even higher up?It is shady and unethical to slip a few extra hundred dollars of unnecessary "protection" in any business, at best. At WORST, it is illegal. I know employees of Discount Tires are encouraged to "push" the certificates for refund, replacement. "Push" is the key word, not "finesse" into a sale and hope the customer does not notice. What if I was 75 and losing my cognitive abilities? And didn't think to review the receipt, or even ask for one? It'd be an extra $200 for Discount Tires for additional coverage I wouldn't even KNOW I had.Discount Tire
