Date of transaction: June 4, 2024 Amount charged: $120.48 Business attempts to only refund half as a resolution Nature of Dispute: That I had only been told partial information from customer representative that I set up insurance with and my documents that I was suppose to receive by email had not been available for me to read. I had contacted spoke with numerous representatives including a manager & a individual "SUPPOSEDLY" higher up then her. She told me that nothing could be done I agreed to lower something pymt for 1st pymt and they are taking that extra money to pay and complete pymt from my 1st mnth on top of never being to that when I change my payment date that it would not change policy dates & I never knew when my policy ran. Their one representative told me she didn't even really know how to explain why they took or are taken that amount. So my bank is overdrawn, hey are keeping over half my payment. Trying to submit documents getting absolutely no accurate information from any of the eight representatives that Ive spoken with now your managers or managers their peon team leads you could never speak to someone who actually has any authority or a clue about whats going on they dont understand billing cycle dates its been impossible to get any information they are useless and Im done talking to people who are not competent I would like to be called back by someone who actually knows what theyre talking about.Initial Complaint

I was told by a representative of progressive..that I was being dropped from my insurance because I got married.( got MARRIED) wow. And that was told to me on a recorded line with progressive insurance sales person, November 2 2023..at about 3;20pm . so I had to scramble and get truck insurance from another carrier .With USAA with a much higher premium and monthly cost, , and I am on a fixed income as a disabled veteran retired..after receiving this letter. It not knowing that I did not have insurance on my vehicle 45 day..for that amount of time until I got this letter in the mail November 2. I am frantically on the phone for several hours, getting quotes from different insurance company having to get insurance on my truck 2021 GMC immediately. I received a notice that I have a collection from PROGRESSIVE on my credit report. It says it was opened on 11/08/2021 for $246.00 with account number starting in ******** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the **** and FDCPA.I would like for this collection to be removed ASAP or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.Initial Complaint

Since I joined Progressive 3 years ago I was enrolled to their snapshot discount program, Snapshot gauges the driver behavior and award points if you drive well. Mine was collected via an app on my smartphone and was granted a discount in premiums supposedly applied to the entire policy.Unfortunately, Progressive has lied. The Snapshot was supposed to be applied to my automobile insurance policy but has been applied to specific cars instead. I have proof. this is written on the declarations page that it is applied to one vehicle and it is on the app itself. Progressive is not transparent on the discounts. I called them today 08/02/2023 and confronted this, and they could not explain the reason I was seeing the discount applied to only one car. Let alone explain numbers,. I have two cars and I am the sole driver in my policy for years. Also, they could not tell me how the discount worked other than it is supposed to be applied to the entire policy regardless of the number of cars. I requested full reimbursement. To my surprise later today I received an email asking me to enroll to Progessive snapshot and nobody called me. I had completed the snapshot once, and will not do it again until they make me whole. It was never agreed that I would do need to do snapshot again. I will give Progressive the opportunity to make me whole by reimbursing moneys owed with interest to me since these moneys belongs to me and I am not in the business to finance insurance companies. Otherwise, I will meet Progressive in court for graft and will file a complaint at the **************************************. I will let the channels available to me to run first before I file a lawsuit. It is outrageous. I reckon Progressive embezzled over 1500$ in the course of the years I have held the polictyInitial Complaint

I purchased a couch from a company under a lease to purchase in 3 months. The cost couch was about $1,200.00 I was paying weekly $67.00. I informed them that I wanted to pay this off in three months so that I would no incur the excessive leasing fees. It appears that this was not done and I have paid over $2,500 for a couch that I should have only paid half that amount. I contact Progressive and/or the company I purchased it from and also stopped the payments because I completed my payments. This is robbery. I was very clear that I would pay this off in 3 months. We returned our snapshot devices in time and the tracking number reflects that. However, I was sent an email saying I would be, and was, charged $100 for the 2 devices. Not even a minute later I got an email saying you received them. When I attempted to donate my time to customer service they could 1. not provide me with a satisfactory answer 2. Were speaking slang the entirety of the call. 3. Refused to transfer me to a manager 4. Lied about their position. 5. **** up on me when I asked to not be spoken to condescendingly. 6. Refused to give me the address for a formal complaint 7. Still didnt have an answer
